The giant plale

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 6:01 am

Did anyone else notice the giant plane at the begging of the "Ready and Able" trailer? And based on the achievement/trophy list released, when you beat the Resistance campaign the text congratulates you on escaping the Ark. Maybe the final Resistance mission (time line wise) is to steal the plane. just speculation and i just wanted to see this thread go up.

I don't know about that. the resources of the ark are supposed to be dwindling so there probably isn't a lot of airplane fuel and if you don't know where you're going or how far land is I don't think the best form of transportation is by plane.

+1

They will probably be traveling by boat, and if they did travel by air, how many people could the plane hold? There is alot of people who want to leave and i don't think that one plane can carry them all, sure they can send a few people in the plane to look for the land, but there isn't alot of resources so i don't think they can manage going back to the ark to pick up people/tell them, and actually finding land/getting to it would take up alot of fuel most likely.

There's hardly enough gas to run the Security helicopters.

So why was one flying overhead in the Container City mission and giving away the Security forces?

If the Resistance manages to popualte an Island which is supposed to hold 5.000 peoply by ten times the amount, a plane really shouldn't be a difficult task. :teehee:

Sticky Keyboard?

And I am thinking that the plane was just there for show or just the trailer not intended on game purposes.
