I bought the french windows XP version of Skyrim and I have many problems with it. Many key commands in the instruction manual are the wrong ones and do not apply in the game play. The main reason for my post is that I am stuck at the Golden Claw Door. It doesn't work. Please don't tell me to look on the claw for the answer cause I already did. The problem is mechanical. When I press ''E'' the rings do not move exept the center one (with the claw). It's looks like the code is broken due to French versioning of the commands.

Leave the area and come back. Sometimes those doors or those fish snake hawk thingies don't work. It should fix your problem, if am reading this right...

Try to go back through the dungeon until you find a door with loading on it and go through the door a few times to trigger the loading screen. Worked for me in the same situation.

Try leaveing the area,just go through the last door that has a loading screen and re-enter.then try again.

Have you moved up or down one because sometimes the game does not register it.

You have also paid attention to the order of the ring turning, I hope.
