Ten years have gone by since the Oblivion Crisis and peace has been restored to the land. The Mage's guild has returned to its full power administering there power over Cyrodiil. The Fighter's guild has been restored and is receiving more and more contracts daily, and Umaril the Unfeathered defeated and the glory of the Knights of the Nine restored. However, a holy artifact was discovered on a remote island to the southwest of Cyrodiil, and a mysterious land bridge formed, creating a highway to the island. The artifact was said to be a helm of gold, worn by Stendarr himself, it is said that the helm may grant the wearer unlimited magic abilities, which is why it must be found at all costs.


The Champion of Cyrodiil rode off from The Priory of the Nine to retrieve it, he rode many days into the heart of the island, and with the help of the Legion, made his way to the top of a mysterious temple, where the helm was said to be, hidden beneath inside a cave that cold only be opened by the purest of heart, or the impurest. The Champion's forces were soon assaulted atop the ancient temple my a dark force, more powerful than the Champion himself, and he was struck down, trapped as a prisoner to a dark lord, who has built himself an army numbering in the thousands, and his laborers have constructed for him a mighty castle, and he is preparing for an invasion.

The Legion is doing what they can to prepare, and they have built numerable strongholds across the island, but they can only gather a force of 700, not early enough to stop the skilled and superior force that was readying in the middle of the island. They have called upon any adventurer, soldier, or worthy knight to join their cause, and have bided them to a camp just outside Anvil, where battalions of legionnaires are preparing their march into the isle.

Who among you will be brave enough to join the Legion in there campaign? Do you have enough strength to confront the forces of darkness and prevail? Cast evil into oblivion! Destroy those who wish harm upon you country! Your family! Join the forces of good to reclaim the Champion and bring peace to the world once again!

You can be whatever you want for this RP. A Mage's Guild member, a Legion soldier, a Kotn, or just a simple adventurer!

History: Jonny was born into a family of thieves stealing, killing and getting drunk was his life. But a few years ago he was saved by the nine and ever seince then he has been saving people with badits and monsters. When he heard what happend to the chapion he went to the camp to join the forces agenst the evil.

Sure I guess, as long as you aren't like evil and stuff, if you do want to be a vampire, make a story to go with it, like how you became one, your life before/after it, you know.

Be careful letting the RPers be vampires; you said no ubering, and vampires are naturally uber creatures. Werewolves are even worse.

Vampires are O.k but werewolves aren't, thats just crazy.


O and ringman I need to know that your grammar and spelling will improve, based on your character sheet and some of your recent posts I don't think you can really type. Everyone makes mistakes, I do all the time, but I can't even understand your posts.



Example:

Vampires and werewolves should only be RPed by the best, to be honest; it really takes skill.

And if ringman isn't native to the English language then there isn't much you can do (even if he is then nothing can be done overnight) except maybe downloading Microsoft Word.

But over time I imagine he'll improve.

Just curious WHY can the Legion only muster 700 troops?
In reality that is enough to man maybe one fort, not enough for the "several strongholds" they've supposedly built.

If spaced correctly enough, it could be able to hold many with just these men, depending on the terrain.

I highly doubt the Legion would spread themselves so thin.
Considering they are against a force they know nothing about.

Still, why does the largest single fighting force in Tamriel only have 700 to spare for the biggest threat since the oblivion crisis?

When he arrived, he joined the temple and learned much about them, but as the years went on, he began to question his faith more and more, until he finally considered the Tribunal as little more than over-glorified liars. After that, he moved to the Imperial City and learned of the Imperial Cult. He joined and became a devout believer of the Nine. He joined the Knights of the Nine, and became a Knight-Commander, now he must fight for the Nine, as a heroic warrior of justice. Now he must attain the helm of stendarr and take it to the Priory of the Nine, and placed in the secret room, where the criminals of Tamriel will never get it again!

Well what I was going to get into in the RP was that Ocato doesn't belive there is a threat and refused to send a fighting force there, a general of the legion (yet to be named) was only able to send that much men
