Ambassador Mieux- New Vegas

Gentlemen please, let us be cordial about this. War is not a profitable business for anyone. Even the winner has a good decade plus of costs they won't recooperate. Perhaps we can come to a mutual truce, or at the very least, a ceasefire.

As for New Vegas, while we strongly disagree with Caesars Legion's philosophy and modus operandi, we will not attack the Legion so long as they do not harm us. NCR, we would happy meet the deals I had previously stated to you. As for the Enclave remnants, I have to admit I'm disappointed. From what I know of the Enclave, they wanted to restore America to it's former glory. Who do you think has a better chance of this, an autocratic businessman of sound mind and extraordinary genius and wealth, or a society that doesnt use any shred of American culture in it's society? We always have a place in Vegas for men and women who were educated in any form of Pre-War culture and schooling.

Ambassador Andronicus: Enclave Remnants

Indeed, I have no doubt as to House's capabilities. Keep in mind however, that we struck the deal with the Legion at a point when we were unsure of House's intentions (in other words before you arrived Martyr). We were pressed by the NCR and needed an ally. Caesar offered us protection and a chance to strike back at our adversaries.

If House would like to make an offer to the Remnants in regards to this conflict, it would be most welcome.

But before I give up this role one last post...

Ambassador Jingo- NCR

*Rolls in laugher taking off his cowboy hat and wiping his forehead with it. Stands grab's Lt. Andronicus kettle of tea and places in front of his seat, while sitting down.

Let's picture this kettle as the Hoover Dam, shall we?

*Raises fist and brings it crashing into the kettle smashing it into many different shards, letting pieces fly across the room and tea spread across the long wooden table.

This Mr. House will be the fate of all of your plans, the NCR is very keenly aware of your depedence on the Dam for power to the Strip, but I have one simple question, what will happen to all your grand dreams and visions once the Dam is destroyed in a fury of explosions? Do you seriously think the NCR will allow you to make deals with our emenies and ignore our terms and there be no retribution? I don't know what the hell you needed that chip for but you can believe this, no matter your true plans or intetions, the next words out of your mouth are either.

A. Mr. House concedes all terrorities, property (excluding the Lucky 38) and security equipment to the NCR immediately

OR

B. The Hoover Dam, Helios one, transmission lines, and the El Dorado substation will be destroyed by the NCR following these meetings

(either cost one action which I believe is my last action for this session)

Your probably thinking I'm joking, that Kimball would never agree to such a plan, and your right, which is why Kimball isn't in chrage of these decisions. I would rather see you all under the slavery of the Legion than concede one inch of soil to an ungrateful two bit dictator of [censored] houses. Crocker was your [censored] for years, bending over to hear one word of what you had to say, so tell me, did you think this could go on? What did you think the Legion was going to give you that chip, I'd say House could run his [censored] houses and all would be well?

*Turns to the general group assembled

So, let's make this interesting everyone. Which do you choose? Slavery by the Legion or Annexation by the NCR? And please don't believe you can do anything to truly harm us. What take the Dam? It will be useless by the time you take it. Kill our troops? Heh it's not as if we can't make more unlike some groups gathered here today. Fear the Legion or the crushed Enclave? Neither has the tech, resources or strength to take the Mojave let alone cross the Divide.

The Legion will surely destroy itself by turning on the very allies they claim to stand by especially the mutants will die under it's rule. The 2 turns I set against the mutants was irrational and hot headed allow me to replace them. Why attack the mutants when the savages will do such for me when their supply of sleath boys runs out? So here are my amended two turns to be taken.

A. Inform wardens back west that all former Enclave members should be given new and fair trials regarding sentencing *Glances at Lt. Androicus
B. The removal of all NCR troops around New Vegas, including Camp McCarran to be relocated to Camp Golf where we sit.

So it is empire House seeks? Let him build it through the work of his own labor. Have fun dealing with the Fiends Ambassador Mieux, that is unless you capulate of course.

*Stands yawning while 4 veteren rangers enter the room.
Well it's getting late and I think this session has reached an impass, but I'm a diplomatic man, every one of you will be given one last word, and Mieux I think you know what you should say.

ooc- Whoever takes over for me, don't be a [censored], failture is not an option. It would be better for every NCR trooper to die, the Mojave lay in ruins, and the emenies resources be wasted over a city of ruins and barracide of dreams than to return to the weak policies of Crocker. Ambassador Jingo is frank, rude, quasi violent, a bully and respects no other human regardless of flag. Jingo is willing to give up the Dam and all the NCR has worked for, rather than see House or the Legion get an easy ride (especially House, he hates all about House). Ambassador Jingo respects no mutants, and equally hates the Enclave and BOS. So basically Jingo keeps things interesting. Have fun with this character and this thread, and make jingoist everywhere proud.

Ambassador Mieux- New Vegas

I'd be happy to see to it that you are given paid for rooms in Vault 21, after all, being Enclave, I'm sure the Vault rooms arent a far cry from what you had wherever your people lived. (Vaults and Enclave are both high tech so my in character is assuming Enclave lived in places like a Vault) You're free to stay there courtesy of my wallet, until such time as you see fit to find your own home in or around Vegas. As for Mr. House's intentions? They are not conquest, not taxation of the poor, but rather the reignition of the high technology sectors of old. With people such as yourself under our aid, we can push for the Pre-War era's return that much faster.

Ambassador Stonewall, you needn't have NCR rangers in your home, I'm sure if Andronicus here has no quarrels with it, he could come as a military instructor on behalf of an indepent New Vegas. You know, McCarran Airport is home to a myriad of Old World airplanes, it's not to farfetched you could salvage the irrepairable, and restore the neglected aircraft. In return for the Boomer's assistance to New Vegas, we would happily respect your slice of land as Boomer territory, and let you be about your own business with whatever was left behind in Nellis Airforce Base before the War.

*Face remains impassive to Ambassador Jingo*

I find your lack of long term vision to be a consequence that NCR would suffer gravely for had you any say in NCR's prospects. Ambassador Jingo, you are no better than the Brahmin Barons of the West, they see only the land and the value, not the.....investment. Ambassador, look at what has given NCR so much strife in this war, Kimball's war. The beaurocratic system is so disorganized that by the time the papers pass through, the project was crushed by the Legion. I have faith in House as the ruler of Vegas, but NCR as the long term future I do not doubt. Were NCR to expand here, then you would fail to hold your borders and Legatus Lanius will stomp the spirit of the Bear. Look into NCR's expansion, anyone else you met in the past has never been as cordial, albeit tensely so, with NCR's general occupation. Indeed, NCR cannot hold what is has let alone what it could have.

That said, Mr.House's plans would essentially build the railline in 2 years that would take NCR 5. By the time NCR expands to the point of Las Vegas being a tiny independent bubble, it would be a technologic oasis in the Mojave, a beacon for the brightest minds of this era to come and help restor Man to it's lost splendor. Were NCR to peacefully give us what we wish for, which is the Las Vegas region of the Mojave alone and no further, give us ten years, and you'll have much of the Pre-War 'wonders' becoming commonplace once more, streets in Vegas humming along nicely with power, a return to the neon paradise that was Las Vegas. Freeside as it is would be no more, the lazy panderers on the street would have jobs rebuilding Las Vegas, and by the time NCR is fully surrounded of our little nation, instead of absorbing a half living city, you'd have a bright and shining metropolis. Allowing us our independence is NCR's way of investing in a true marvel of it's nation.

As for these Enclave remnants. Good sir, you see them as war criminals, but have you noticed these people seek not to kill NCR citizens, but flee? To me, this is not the act of a murdering war criminal, but a beaten down old war horse that just wants to live out it's days in solitude and quietness. All I ask is a pardon for these remnants Andronicus might name, and in return any future crime they commit against an NCR citizen will render their pardon null and void and to prevent a diplomatic crisis, we would unarguingly surrender them to NCR jurisdiction. Until that time, I plea that you give them this chance to live out their days as retired old men and women, and maybe even allies to NCR and Mr. House at Hoover Dam should they wish to do so.

Ambassador Stonewall; Boomers

I believe that the new NCR Ambassador is far too harsh to avoid conflict. I may just take up the offer that Mr House has provided us. Would Mr House still be in need of an Air Force? We still have trained pilots.

Remnants: Would you agree to this? We would appreciate training in Energy and Small Guns.

*Raises fist and brings it crashing into the kettle smashing it into many different shards, letting pieces fly across the room and tea spread across the long wooden table.

*folds hands together and looks up with a glare. Officer hat casting a shadow on face*

What an uncultured display of barbarity. A pity you weren't destroyed years ago.

I can't say I'm surprised however ambassador, your insanity has become more and more obvious with each passing moment of these talks.

A. Inform wardens back west that all former Enclave members should be given new and fair trials regarding sentencing *Glances at Lt. Androicus

*Moreno slams his hands down on the table and reaches for his minigun*

*raises his hand in a "halt" motion at Moreno, and begins to address Jingo directly*

My countrymen will not fear death. They are not so easily broken as your pathetic excuse for soldiers.

You can take nothing more from them. They lost their lives years ago with the Rig, and then Navarro. You have accomplished nothing, you will gain nothing.

I assure you, their deaths will be avenged.

*Moreno glances at the entering veteran rangers*

"Such an amusing display of arrogance. You soldiers break so easily."

*Moreno throws his power-armored body against two Rangers knocking them down and sending them careening against the floor.*

MORENO! Enough! There will be plenty of time for retribution later. No need to waste your energy on these lower-lives.

*Moreno steps back and stands behind my chair, his minigun pointed at the Rangers*

"Yes Lieutenant."

EDIT FOR NEW POSTS:

Ambassador Melieux, that sounds agreeable to us. I was waiting for a good alternative to the Legion to appear. Truthfully I find their adversity to technology abhorrent.

My only request is the utter humiliation of the NCR. Not necessarily destruction, but I want you to hurt them where it counts. Their arrogant pride.

Remnants: Would you agree to this? We would appreciate training in Energy and Small Guns.

Indeed. We'd be more than willing to train the boomers militarily. You may find that I'm a rather harsh instructor however. Old habits die hard I suppose. I'll accept nothing less than excellent proficiency with these firearms, and rest assured you will achieve it.

Ambassador Lobotomite : The State of Utobitha

*Jumps out of seat while activating a Stealth Boy, Veteran Rangers open fire, bullets connect but do nothing against his blood lust, when the dust settles he collects the dogtags from the pieces left of the Rangers and walks over to Ambassador Brontus and tosses the tags at him

Two Stealth Boys

*Collapses to the floor, barely alive

*Moe starts eating the corpses

occ: I guess that would be one turn

Ambassador Andronicus: Enclave Remnants

Should these terms be met. We will agree to them.

Our compatriots deserve peace. Myself and Moreno's hatred of the NCR is strong. As of this moment it is nigh-beyond comprehension. However, our loyalty to our countrymen is stronger. Far stronger.

*Glances over and notices Moe eating the corpses*

A fitting end I suppose.

*Glances at Ranger corpses*

Ah, too kind of a death, too kind. And as for you, Nightkin, you should seek help from a doctor.

*Turns to Andronicus*

If you join House, I won't stop you. However, know this, turn against us and you'll earn a place on a cross. By rejecting advanced technologies, it trains the Body and Mind to be more capable, self-reliant, once you take away the tech, an Enclave Trooper has only it's training, whilst the Legionary stands strong.

I wouldn't listen to Jingo's ramblings of an unstable mind, he wouldn't blow up Hoover, Dorado, he wouldn't... no.

*Turns to Lobotomite. Lobotomite is making no attempt to get up. Gets to work removing the bullets with a Docters Bag, smearing wounds with Healing Powder, Lobotomite sips on Bitter Drink*

Never say Legion Medicine is useless, he might even live!

Ambassador Mieux- New Vegas representative.

*Fingers massaging temples as he is one of the few trying to remain seated and calm* Gentlemen please sit down and behave. We represent some of the most powerful factions in the Mojave, so please let us ACT it. *Sighs and tries to maintain composure*

Mr. Brontus, technology does not imply weakness, it offers safety. Caesar, what does his prospect of victory compose of? Tossing lives at something until it's dead. That's not tactical enginuety, it's wasting lives. War is a bloody, costly, and messy business. As to the Legion's medicinal abilities, I do not condescend them, but to be frank, the Legion ignores the ability to preform operations and says 'slather on this tribal gunk and tough it out' that does not mend a wound, only improper healing it. As for the good Ambassador Jingo, if he's brash and foolish enough, yes, he'd sacrifice his own cities having power if it meant we gain nothing by 'winning'. However, I strongly advise against their course of action. I'd also like to extend you Mr. Brontus the chance to see what being an employee of Mr. House offers you, the chance to bring about the Old World again. Comfort, ease, luxury.

When you realize Caesar is a savage society of the short term, and not the Roman superpower of the long term, you'll see the truth. *smiles smarmily*

Right to individual independence? Medical aid? Stealthboy cache? Food? You'll find working for Mr. House has tremendous benefits Mr. Lobotomite. All he asks is you don't interfere with his plans for New Vegas, and he lets you be about your day to day lives. That's far better than NCR, who taxes and rules your lives when they march in.

Besides, I've never seen a Super Mutant ally in the Legion, and given Caesars reputation, they'd only get betrayal. After all, I'm sure alliance with Caesar worked out so well for the Twisted Hair tribe, didnt it. *Smiles smuggly at Brontus*

Mr. Lobotomite, we, that is, The Free Economic Zone of New Vegas, seek mutual agreements at minimal, alliances at best. Stay out of our way, and we'll happily stay out of yours. Now, ask yourself this Mr. Lobotomite. Who would better hold up their end of the bargain? A city that works on profits and deals, or a man who's notorious for swallowing those who 'ally' with him? Work with Mr. House to keep the region stable, IE, try and deter Nightkin from attacking humans, and we in turn will supply stealthboys so long as you hold to your bargain. Work for the *snorts* 'mighty' Caesar, and the most you'll get is a slave collar. I leave the choice up to you Mr. Lobotomite.

Also, I should warn you, if you ally with Caesar and they lose at the Dam, we will see to it all Nightkin are purged from Black Mountain as punishment for aiding an enemy nation. We at The Strip don't judge by race, only actions. You convince your people to behave, and Black Mountain is yours so long as you hold true to your truce to all humans that do not trespass on Black Mountain. Fair?

*Raises an eyebrow sceptically* Challenge? Who was it that came stomping into the region? It was the Legion. We seek to be left to our own, however, seeing as Caesar is, hypocritically, opposed to the use of technologies, I cannot see a mutual agreement coming forward. Your 'Caesar' is a manchild who seeks nothing but glory. If you truly believe that ignorant spear chucker is in it to 'save humanity' then I'm sorry he has the brahmin leather over your eyes pallie.
