The Good Springs glitch and Logan's Loophole.

i had spent 21 hours to get to level 40. thought i try logan's loophole. thought at level 30 that would be it when leaving good springs. true, experience points stoped at level 30. but the perks didn't. had five more perks to take than i thought. so doing it this way is like trying cram 50 levels into 30. took couple tries to get somewhat want i wanted.

So you're saying you leveled to 40, then took Logan's Loophole upon leaving Goodsprings through the respec, and the perks and skills remained? If so that'd be a pretty interesting exploit for making an overpowered build.

using the good springs glitch allows for keeping some but not all perks. i have the list but not sure of the link for it.

the way it works when leaving good spring, the game totals all skill points when rebuilding. they have to be reasign. perks on the list will not be deleted. which means extra perks. don't take skilled as a trait when rebuilding because it will lower skill points, meaning a perk will be lost on even levels.

to get certain perk requires certain skills to be at a certain level. i think pack rat requires a barter skill of 70. pack rat is on the list. so it will be kept when rebuilding. which means that barter no long needs to be at 70 when leaving good spring to keep pack rat.

The one thing I have never felt the need to do in this game was exploit an uber character. The character will become Uber just by playing the game.
