The great battle for Cyrodiil.

Post » Sat Feb 01, 2014 1:29 pm

Imagine, the beautiful dawn hits the land of tamriel.

As you turn around, a fellow dunmer smacks you in the face with an axe and you die instantly. WHY? Because he is a dunmer who went to another alliance.

Is it just me who will feel "confuffled" on the battlefield?

Lore has just been smacked in the face, imo.

People rant about imperials, yet this is the issue which needs to be adressed i think..

PvP death costs you nothing, and you learned something :)

I could care less about deaths, i mean. Whats the point of alliances now? i know this "migration" will probably account for like 5% of the total population of the given alliance .. but still ..

I think instead of letting pre-orders join any alliance, they should have allowed them to make characters as bandits; restricted to Cyrodiil and attackable/can attack anyone. :D

I would have pre-ordered in a heartbeat (after finding a real price conversion for my currency).

Due to the Cyrodiil restriction, most people would have bandits as only secondary characters, using a normal main character so they can explore "all" content. Bandit characters would be for a bit of fun every so often and would likely not level up as fast as non-bandit characters, keeping them from becoming over powered unless they can organise themselves.

I guess starting as some outlaw, not obedient to any alliance would make some sense. But then, your starting zone would be..? Restricted to cyrodiil lol xd

Will there be some special markings for enemies? I mean, ESO wise there shouldnt be like in your face alliance name near above their head. Before i recognise his race and the alliance, and if he's an enemy i will have 20 arrows in my knee and a sword in my eye...

I agree with you, it's .. weird :)

But I fear many people really did want this, that the races were free to any alliance so I guess we are a minority.

Add an outlaw quest that forces (yeah...) you from an alliance province into Cyrodiil and then locks you in there but gives you an opportunity to gain a few levels along the way.

I liked the city elf start in Dragon Age where you kill that human lord trying to score with your bride (that's how I remember it).

Before anyone says it, I know this will never be actually put into the game.
