The greatest moment in video gaming history.

Why its great:
It gives me goosebumps and makes me shed a tear. You do not have to like fighting games, you don't have to like video games. This will still grip you. I don't have words for it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kPyGvqNn4Y is, while not the greatest moment I've ever seen, definitely the most beautiful (imo), especially when you learn the lyrics.

Zelda at E3 was pretty spectatular.

Portal2 was not really my thing, but I do appreciate it is pretty nifty.

The greatest moment? I wouldn't attribute any one video game to that, no, instead I would say perhaps the introduction of the NES. Yes, the Atari came before it, but I adamantly believe that it was because of the NES that video games are what they are today. None of the great games we have today could be possible without the prod that NES gave the video gaming world in the 80's.

After that, I'd say the PSone. While I"m not sure if it was the first system to use CDs instead of cartridges, it is the FIRST to use them successfully thus forever changing the course of video games by increasing the size of them, the complexity of them, or, in the case of smaller games(like fighting games), the graphical intensity of them.

If it weren't for those two moments in Video Gaming history, there is a good chance that gaming would have gone the way of other "fads" in the 70's.

The Final Fantasy Sequence moved me, and I dont even play that franchise. That is greatness.

I just thought of a pretty good one for me personally. 2 words "Battlecruiser Operational."

LOL. You made a thread that deserved a /thread in the first post with that.

But I was just about to say "no you need the vid with him parrying her super spinning bird kick" then I saw round 2.
