The "I have preordered Skryim" Club

Post » Tue Nov 29, 2011 3:59 am

Preordered the guide book on Amazon the other night. I preordered the game at Gamestop several months ago, although I'm kind of worried that the incompetent sorts who work there didn't put me down for a PC copy and I'll have to just try and buy and download it from Steam that day (too bad their servers will be so overwhelmed that it'll take all weekend).

I pre-ordered and paid for both the PC version and PS3 version, regular edition, 22 days normally goes by fast, 22 days waiting for Skyrim though seems to crawl.

Preordered the standard edition at Gamestop way back at the DA-II midnight launch. I had it paid off in full, my fiancee' paying cause it was to be a belated birthday gift. But then my fiancee' just told me a month or so ago to upgrade to CE, and that she would send the rest of the money to pay if off. I have about $52 left on the CE, but my guide, that I preordered a month and a half ago, paid in full. Just waiting for the money that my fiancee said she sent to pay off the CE.

got mine October 10th, CE...would've done it earlier, but due to financial issues had to wait til after summer.

Does anyone know if the soundtrack comes with it? I was 99% sure it didn't, but a friend of mine is convinced otherwise.

I'm kind of amazed nobody but me in this thread pre-purchased on Steam.

I mean, you get to pre-load it >.> means you'll be one of the first to play.

gah same. cant go to midnight release because bus routes dont run that late. and i aint paying for no taxi.

ill just go the next day and pick it up uninterrupted. I did the same thing for Arkham City. Walked in and was on my way out of the store in literally two minutes...my BestBuy is sweet like that.

Well I'm console only period. I will absolutely NEVER ever game on PC. I hate it. :brokencomputer:

I really hate stressing over, "Omg will my computer run it?!?!?!" I don't have to. I have my trusty PS3 that I've had for 4 years now, not a single problem even once. *knock on wood* And I KNOW automatically that if it's multiplatform or exclusive to PS3, it will run, no questions asked. I love that feeling. It's called being stress-free. In the state this damn world is in, and especially the economy, that feeling is golden.

Though you know, Valve has talked about bringing Steam to PS3, because they have such a great relationship with Sony now. I'd have to find the article though.
