RESERVED/TAKEN SPOTS:

Fisheye98: GM, Legion.
Bosmight: Co-GM, USA.
Tiber Septim: Texas Republic.
TheLoneRanger: BoS.
Aldin_Kris: BoS. (better hurry, one BoS spot
open)

Hello fellow RPers, this is the description, Sign up, And future OOC thread. This RP follows the
Lore of the Post-War American Convention though by no means do you have to be familiar with the Convention to participate. Now without further adeu I will Start on the description.

After the events of the Fallout games the many factions of the destroyed United States of America, including Canada, met in a peace conference. This Confrence was called the American Convention. In the Convention the many countries of America made alliances, traded, conversed, and warred with each other. After three of these Conventions two nations, the Legion and United States of America, decided to explore other continents. Both of these countries picked the same continent to explore, South America.

What these nations found was quite disturbing. The continent was inhabited by aggressive creatures, deadly diseases, drug cartels, religious murderers, and a group of sub-humans called the Aztians. The USA seeing the danger in this continent quickly decided to abandon it but the Legion did not. Instead the Legion sent two large expeditions into the nort western and central regions of South America. However both of these Expiditions quickly failed, most of the participants dying horrible deaths.

Seeing that the large Expidtions he had been sending had failed Caesar turned to the other nations of North America for help.

This is where you, the RPer come in. You will be part of the third South American Expidition. This Expidition will include all of the nations of the American Convention including: The Legion, the United States of America (Enclave), the New Vegas Federation, the Commonwealth of New England, the Alaskan Republic, the Brotherhood of Steel (conjoined Mid-West and West), the New California Republic, the Texas Republic, the Soviet Ronto Empire, and the Khan Empire. You will be an agent for one of these factions and possess the equipment of your faction, each faction will only have two agents maximum to keep the party light.

We will depart from the new Legion capital of Two-Sun, down through Central America and into South America. Along the way we will face many mishaps and difficult choices. The purpose of the third Expidition is to examine the native wildlife of South America, study the lacal Aztians, and recover lost Legion files on a top secret project. Some of you will die, some will get wounded, some will become diseased, but no matter what, this Expidition must succeed.

CS example:

Name:

Race:

Gender:

Faction:

Appearance:

Equipment (including things such as ropes, lighters, Weapons, armor, food will be provided):

Skills (description not just "small guns" or "medicine") :

Background:

I encourage all types of characters with a wide set of skills. If you are survive in South America you need to know about more things than stabby stabby. OP characters are (oh how I dread to say this) ...okay. Your nation nominated you to be part of this Expidition for a reason. Just don't breath fire or freeze time please.

Just a few rules:

-What I say is final, no arguments. If I am absent my Co-GM, Bosmight, will have the final word. Arguing will result in a gruesome (IC) death.

-No ridiculous, extremely descriptive romances. A little romance is accepted but don't get to descriptive on "activities" you may be having.

-No abusing the OOC. No spamming, Teddy will find you!

-No character controlling without consent from the person being controlled.

-Have fun!!!

Any coments, questions, concerns, random outbursts? The new factions will be explained in a later post.

-Fish

Thank ya, Ranger. You might want to sign up sooner rather than later though, before your favorite faction is taken, lol. I'll take reservations.

Alrighty then, I'll put ya down. I'm contemplating letting three BOS members join, considering that it's really two factions. BTW, a spot is reserved for me, Legion.

Alright, I assume if your picking them you already know their history? If not I could provide a short summary.

I really want to join this too, so I want a Brotherhood spot as well, so go ahead and reserve me for one of those. (Obviously since I rep the Brotherhood). Although I assume no ANGELs right?

Reserved.
As for ANGELS... I'm not sure. Are there any smaller scaled angles? (for those of you that don't know ANGELs are a giant, human operatedm, robot made by the BoS in the convention.)

Thank you. Unfortunately, I believe 17ft is as small as they make them. They are made for extremely offensive assaults after all.

Then it's a no, sorry Burns... Oops, I mean Aldin, lol.

And Fritz, PM, nonsense! It's related to the thread and if another person wants Ronto aswell then this could be useful. Basically Ronto, or the Soviet Robto Empire, is a Communist Empire from eastern Canada. They band together after the great war out of bands of raiders and petty tribes. Ronto then went on to absorb more tribes and eventually turned Communist. The leader is a man name Mr. Blackwood (once RPed by JoeBob but he disappeared.). The SRE now hold the eastern half of Canada and are allies with the Commonwealth, and the Legion. That's basically it.

Yeah I figured. While it would be nice having a invisible, robotic death machine that can travel at a steady 80mph, it may make things a bit too easy. And where is the fun in having a super weapon with you when your supposed to be trying to survive? Defeats the purpose a bit IMO.

Back to the point of this post, what time frame in the convention are we using? If I may make a suggestion, could we possible have this set up to where it is after Alan becomes the ArchLord of the Brotherhood?

Also, just as a common courtesy, LoneRanger, would you like me to give you a run down on the Brotherhood at this current moment in time? I don't know if you have been following the Convention or not, but I'd be happy to give you a quick summary of the weapons we do have at our disposal. (Ragnarok rifles come to mind)

Actually it is set right after the Two-Sun convention when South America was just re-discovered. Otherwise it would be pointless to do this because the Legion would already have SA under their control and it would be to easy with roads and cities already built, lol. But think of it this way, you can have Burns since he's still more of a soldier and less of a leader. I'm having Stov'kien before hexwas an advisor being my character, lol. Pretty lights!

That'd be great. I've only read a few posts of the convention and that was a long time ago.

Well actually we have no Chinese faction in the AMERICAN convention, lol. But if you really want a Chinese remnant I can try to think of some way to squeeze you in, no promises though.

Ah, yeah see I should have realized that. Well if that is the case, the Brotherhood wouldn't have ANGELs anyway I don't imagine. If memory serves, I revealed my super fighting robots at the Shady Sands Convention, which was after the Two Sun Convention. Yeah Alan could go in that case. I assume this won't be cannon are anything like that in the Convention, otherwise Alan would remember this... Although he still could anyway, not that it matters. In other words, yes I assume Alan will be traveling on this Expedition.

As long as Stov'kien doesn't keep poking him because his armor is shiny and his gun has blinking lights.

I doubt the NCR would completly exterminate them. They could have been integrated into the NCR.

Hmmmm, okay. Fritz, if you want you can be a Shi remnant working in the NCR. could provide some interesting convorsation. If you want to do this however you'll stool be considered a Profli- oops I mean NCR agent. Also I highly suggest some of you choose doctor, scientist, diplomat, repair/survival roles, not just KILL KILL! roles, lol.
