Is there a possibility that there is a hidden quest that no one but the developers knows exists and activating it is a 1 in a million chance?
If you were the developers, what would be your ultra-hidden quest?

Getting a pip-boy upgrade.
I'm still surprised they didn't include pip-boy customization or having different pipboys with better range, or whatever.
They could have made it where you had to upgrade/hack the pip-boys security clearance to be able to open certain doors within vaults or the vault it self.
Yes! I was disappointed with the size of the vaults being so small. Vault 81 introduced the "secret passage" and it would be an awesome addition to see a DLC add some secrets to each vault.
I don't think there is a hidden quest, people search a lot in the scripts and we all see what they find.
But Todd says in a interview, don't remember were, that there is some easter egg in a terminal that no one found it yet.
Maybe there's a way to get a those gosh-darned Freefall Legs without having to exploit the game's physics? That little space even triggers the "discovery" music when you get there, but why is it even there???
My point: those legs are awesome, and they should just be available in the game via normal means.
Haven't come across any secret quests...yet. If they are there at all.
well, they are available through normal means. Any leg armour with the "reduce falling damage by 50%" will act in the same way, if having both equipped (e.g. left and right )
You're saying they exist as legendary drops?
Not in my 600 or whatever hours, but I guess dreams come true?
EDIT: So, yeah, according to the http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_4_armor_and_clothing, there is no "reduce falling damage" on equipment other than the named Freefall Legs. Not that that's gospel, I guess, but they're usually pretty thorough.
Couldn't agree more. I don't understand why they did this. You can, actually, get there with a jet pack, but it absolutely svcks (and I eventually gave up).
I've gotten them twice using the trash can. The jet pack, it seems to me, can only get you so far -- certainly you can make the leap from the lower alcove to the one with the legs, but I could not get to the lower alcove just using the jet pack. Ultimately, I find it more effective to just use the trash can the whole way.
Even though wtf did I just say? LOL. We shouldn't have to do that.

First entry, Acrobat's affix.
I've had several pairs by now.
Hmm. I suppose I must stand corrected. Damn! LOL. But seriously, have not seen in-game. Will keep an eye out, though.
Also doesn't change my view that the Freefall Legs and the story behind them should just be accessible -- and also that the game is a bit over-reliant on randomness for my taste. But that's for another thread.
That's ok, we can't be all-knowing...all the time
And yes, I do agree it makes little sense, to have something like this hidden away in a secluded spot you can't get to without glitching the game. PA can already do it along with the abrobat's affix, so it's not like people can't avoid falling damage if they want.
Im still finding new things in Bethesda's games many years after release. I wonder what it would be that Todd thinks someone hasn't found yet, with so many eyes on the game someone has to have found it, but how many of those people would go online and talk about it?
Well at first they need to know if that is IT. A lot of us could've stumbled upon what Todd meant, but none of us say anything becouse no one knew
And Yes, getting Freefall legs is a pain... it's easier to farm legendary drops for acrobat's gear.
Back to the OP, the super duper secret quest? I've some ideas
1. Witnessing a Vertibird crash at the Glowing Sea, at first anyone would dismiss that as another BoS piloting failures. But closer inspection revelas that it was not BoS The hunt for Hellfire Armor begins.
2. Random radiant-esque quest, that rewards the Player with the Desert Ranger Armor form HH.
3. Mirelurk Merchant - Not a quest per se, but fun Easter Egg.
Considering how various players found the remains of various cut content, it is doubtful that there is any hidden quests that escaped their eyes.
No it's not people dig through the data like crazy.
Any possibility that it could be masked or made to look like something else?
1. Hmmm, didn't know there was any clues around that wreckage in the glowing sea. There isn't even any clickable objects.....I'll have to return and have a look
2. Huh? What desert ranger armour? Sure you are not confusing it with a mod you have or something? That armour is west coast only (for now)
3. Haven't encountered that. Random encounter or fixed position?
Nah, thoose are My ideas, they aren't in the game... probably But If I ever stumble upon something interesting or unusual, I will make You guys know.
Well, want is one thing -- there's no way to get the effect without PA, the Freefall Legs or random drops. And the effect is especially useful for building tall settlement structures -- PA is too cumbersome to wear while building, plus you're burning a fusion core.
Anyway, like I say, the randomness certainly enhances replayability but it's a teensy bit much. And I find that harder difficulties don't necessarily increase the frequency of legendaries so much as the range of legendary enemies I encounter -- for instance the Legendary Radroach in USAF Olivia I encountered last night, or the Legendary Albino Radstag out in the wilds (that was carrying a flamer in its pouch? Or something? LOL).
But ultimately meh. I love the game, warts and all.
Oh darn, I thought you were serious, lolz. I guess I misread that "I have some ideas" as in, ideas about what the OP was talking about.....
LOL. Yeah, the trash can is the only effective way. There's a YT tutorial about how to use the jet pack, and I really tried to make that work, but life is too short.
^ Yes, you can see we sorted it out. But thanks.
Being on PC I couldn't be bothered with glitching the game, so I just used NoClip to get there. Less of a headache, same result.
