Well, I got the hintbook from Father Tully... I had heard it gave you 10k EXP every time you used it. I used it once, and it said it contained tons of inside info on Fallout 2, but if I use it again it just says you've learned all you can, go wander the wastes some more.

What gives?

Sorry, I didn't check, apparently it made all my SPECIAL stats full and my skills at 299-300.

I thought it would actually give me XP and I'd have to keep clicking it to level up.

I guess it doesen't let me level up more so I don't nab all the perks and see what they're like, heh.

There's a computer in Vault city that does XP bumps.

sorry i got mixed up with the skill book and the computer when i told you about it.

The hintbook can only give your character a one time boost to a max. of 300xp.
