The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies - Discussion

Post » Thu Nov 27, 2014 10:18 pm

This thread is for discussion of the upcoming and final entry in the Hobbit movie trilogy.

I'm really excited. The last https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iVAgTiBrrDAlooked good.

And I just got my tickets for the December 10th premiere.

To me the Hobbit movies are the Middle Earth version of the Star Wars prequels. I'll watch it, but I can wait for DVD.

We have tickets for Christmas Day, believe it or not. We are a household full of anti-social, fantasy-computer-roleplaying-game-obbsessed nerds. Since 2012 The Hobbit movies have been the one day of the year when everyone in my household leaves the house as a group to do something together socially. The rest of the year we ignore each other, lol.

So the movie ends with a 45 minute battle. Going to be insane.

Lets hope he stays more true to the book with this one. The last two were entertaining, be with far to many liberties taken.
