I walked in to the outpost and looked around seeing the Corporal. I took a chair and placed my weapon next to it before sitting down, after taking my helmet off and placeing it down by my feet. "No one else here Corporal?" I asked, getting the answer I nodded. I picked up my Incinerator and did some last minute checks on it, making sure the tubes were clear to make sure the fuel would get through from the tanks.

I looked around and noticed that someone else had arrived, I decided not let him notice I was here. I walked out again sighing and humming a tune. I'd come back at 2200 hours just for the sake of it, scare some people. I walked out and looked at the stars again. If anyone were to do something to me now I'd be a goner, I thought.

I "followed" Captain Pavlic until he returned to the outpost. I could see from the distance that there was someone else with Harrison in the outpost. For some reason the captain left the outpost again, I quickly ran to the outpost "Corporal, did the captain ask you something?" I asked Harrison. He shaked his head, so I think it was safe to assume that the captain didn't notice me leaving the outpost. I saw a man checking his incinerator carefully, if I remember right his name is Demetri, Sergeant Demetri Green. I heard he is really good at maintaining his equipment and a little bit perfectionist at it. I sat down and started to polish my sniper rifle, waiting for the captain to return. it's pointless to follow him around all day...

When I had arrived I could see a few soldiers. I decided to relax and sat, with my back to a rock. This mission is odd, I had never before had to keep a mission secret to other Enclaves. I checked my sniper rifle, then my dual pistols that my Father had given me. The mission after he gave them to me, he was injured, bad. He had been my role model. Right then, I decided to stop slacking off, It wouldn't please my Father in his last days to hear I was Killed In Action. I got up and walked until I found a few birds in the Wastes, just a short walk away from the outpost. I started target practice. I was told I had perfect accuracy, with made me one of the best snipers in the Enclave. It only took me a few seconds until all the bird we on the ground bleeding or dead. I heard something crackle behind me. I turned around to see a yao guai jump from behind a bush. I was able to slide under him and pulling out my dual laser pistols and taking him out, Two quick shots to the belly. I decided to return to the outpost to check my weaponry.

Kurt walked out of the base, keeping a watchful eye on his surroundings. Some might call him paranoid, but he hadn't survived so long in hostile territory by jumping at every opportunity to do battle. On his way to Echo Outpost, he easily circumvented a group of wandering raiders. He could have slaughtered them, but he would consider that a waste of valuable ammunition. After a while, he reached the outpost and noted that there were already some soldiers gathered there. He nodded curtly to them before moving off to one side by himself. He leaned against a rock and crossed his arms, keeping a clear view of the surroundings as he watched for any newcomers or possible hostiles. While he could have checked his equipment, he had complete confidence in the reliability of his weaponry and armor. He had been using them his entire career after all, why would they fail him now?

OOC: I did this after just skimming over the past few posts, so I'm assuming I haven't missed anything between last night and now. Had a movie to watch, you know?

Another soldiers arrived... first it was Cenron, "our" sniper. He took a sit and relaxed for a couple of minutes before he left, I decided to "follow" him. Before I left, I looked around at the others... Demetri was still busy with his equipments while Harrison know what I'm going to do but decided to stay away from it, smart move...
I followed Cenron until he stopped. I saw what he did at the birds... pretty impressive for a kid. suddenly a Yao guai attacked him, I pulled my pistol but decided not to help him... I want to see his true skill. He was able to survive the attack single-handedly, I don't know why but I smiled. I left him alone after that...
another one was Kurt... I don't know much about him but I heard he has a very watchful eyes, heh... that isn't enough to survive. I hope I could see his skill... maybe next time.

Most of the soldiers were here. I was happy to. I couldn't stand just sitting here, not knowing what to do. The soldiers all looked quite well trained. I noticed one was smaller and shorter. I realized who it was. Kirsty Jeanes, the new medic. Female soldiers were rare in the army. I knew that and so did she. I smiled underneath my armor. I hoped she wouldn't get hurt.

Some of the soldiers were coming and going, so I decided to look around. The moon was pretty tonight. It illuminated my path as I trudged around. I found a lone rock not far from the camp. So I decided to rest. I pulled out my backpack. I fumbled through it until I found what I was looking for. A thick book, not ruined. It was red and had a hard leather finish. The title was scratched of. So I decided to open it up and continue from my last point. I took out the gray brahminskin bookmark and then fell in to the wonderful world of reading.

OOC:Look... I don't want to be a dike, but Commodore only used by the Navy or the Air forces... we are the goddamned ARMY.
yes, it is used by the army, but not the US army, and a Commodore is a Brigadier in the army rank, don't you think it's too high?

I finished checking my weapon before putting it down on the ground beside me. I stood up from my chair and started patroling the perimeter of the camp. He mainly did it to keep himself occupied, there wasn't much out in the waste that could cause major problems, not much could stand a well equiped enclave force.

I soon walked back to the camp, looking over one of the soldier's shoulder to see what he was reading, I hadn't read many books, other then some training manuals, though he had found a book among his father's things called the Art of War by Sun Tzu and I had taken some of what I had learnt there to heart, it hadn't served him wrong yet. "What you reading?" I asked in quite a strong tone.

"I, I'm not sure." I replied. And I really wasn't. I had found the book in a pile of rubble unscathed, except for some of the front being worn of. The book was very interesting actually. The man seemed to look dissapointed and he walked of. I was angry at my self. I needed to be more kind so I could make some friends. Guarding this place would be boring with out a friend or two. But I continued reading anyway, floating of in to my own world.

Private Henry Jones
I arrived with some other troops and I was itching for some action. I ran a diagnostics check on my gear and then headed over to a tree and took a nap. When I woke up most guys were here so I went and started to pester the other guys by bombarding them with prewar facts and conspiracy theories. However it soon got boring and I spotted a guy leaning over someone's shoulder. I decided to see what's going on and I soon joined in the group and interrupted the man's reading session by saying "hey whats up!"They stared at me for awkwardly. "uh okay, Hey! Did you guys know that the president is actually a computer and the government is trying to cover it all a up!" However they didn't believe me so I headed off and got to reading my manual How to be a Better SoldierBefore I knew it i dozed off.

(OCC: Welcome to join, catch up with us when we head out, oh and you should change your rank. Commodore is a bit to high.)

I walked back to the camp and noticed that most of the soldiers were there. I went back to my seat and sat down again. Wondering what to do, I checked the time and noticed it was 2200 hours... And not everyone was here.
"Ok, all you men that are here please call off," I shouted.
Everyone called off and I noticed who hadn't arrived.
"Goddamit... I don't need this," I mumbled.
I decided I'd let it go, but just this once.
"As soon as the other soldiers are here we'll start the briefing!" I shouted to the others. "Ha, briefing, can hardly even call it that," I muttered.

As I looked nervously around I noticed someone looking at me. I remembered his name as Corporal Harrison, or Harrow. I'd been studying human behaviour since I was born so I noticed that in just the way he stood he was worried. I decided to perk up and started reciting every vital body part in the human body, making sure that it was all correct. I walked over next to the Captain and sat next to him.
"Are you all right there?" He asked.
"Ummm... Sorry I'll just go then," I stammered.
"No, that isn't what I meant, I mean do you feel alright about all of this?" He asked, softly.
"I think so, I'm happy to be part of something so important," I muttered.
I stood up and walked around the area, nervous.

It was hard to believe some guys still hadn't made it, I said to myself as a cleaned my sniper rifle from the dirt of the wastes. It isn't gonna be nice for them when they get here. I looked over and saw our medic, Kirsty I think. She was young like me, and a woman. I didn't see many people like that in the Enclave. I looked over and saw one soldier sleeping, Private Jone I assumed. To the left of him was a soldier catching up on his reading. I didn't know who he was but if anything he seemed intelligent, I hadn't seen many people in the wasteland reading before, just salvages, like....

I decided that the other men could just be caught up by these men.
"Alright everyone get over here, I'm starting the briefing!" I shouted out.
Everyone rushed over except for one who was asleep, I walked over to him and smacked him over the head.
"Wake up, I'm starting the briefing," I said to him.
He got up with a start and all the men looked at me intently.
"Now, this is a mission of utmost importance, as this could very well mean the fate of eveyone at Blood Gulch," I started.
A lot of soldiers made a noise, gulping or shaking.
"Now, we've had confirmed reports that the Brotherhood of Steel have amassed a large number of men to crush us all," I continued, "But worst of all, we've had other confirmed reports that they've fixed up a robot that could easily walk right over us all."
The men started muttering amongst themselves and I didn't blame them.
"This is how those scum managed to take the purifier from us, and so as they march their stupid robot over to us we'll take it out," I said.
The men stared at me, and even one of them piped up.
"Uh, but sir, if they took the purifier then wouldn't that mean that we'd be completely screwed over?" Asked one of the soldiers, I thought it was Kirsty.
"We have something they don't," I said proudly, I pulled something out of my pack. A giant emp bomb. "This will make that stupid robot fall down and never get back up again," I half-whispered.
"How do we get that close though?" Asked someone.
"This is why your all here, your the best of the best and so, your whole mission is to stop as many soldiers as you can while I rush in and try and set this thing off," I muttered, just loud enough for everyone to hear.
One of the soldiers obviously had a brain and said something, "But sir, if you set that off and your right next to it wouldn't that completely screw up your head?"
I sighed, "Probably, we don't know yet, I'm not one of the most trusted soldiers out there but I can hold people together." I muttered.
The soldiers started muttering again.
"Ok, as soon as the other soldiers turn up can someone explain they situataion to them?" I asked, but more of an order.
I didn't wait for an answer, I went back to my seat and slumped into it.
"I knew I'd never see her again... I'll never make it out of this alive," I muttered to myself. Hoping no one would hear me.
"Check your equipment! I don't want us getting taken over by an ambush, this is our most southern outpost so this is where we'll hold out for those scum," I yelled out to the others.
"These soldiers will make it... I'll have to get one of them to give something to her..." I muttered again.

After the captain whent back and sat down, I walked over to this tree. I climbed it and sat on a branch. i started to think. I started to think of what might happen if we dont succed, What might Happen to the captain. This is defiantly a daunting Mission, probably my most dangerous mission i may have ever been on.
I decided to check and see if i had all my medical equipment.
Hmm, my thoughts started to wander again.... I may not ever get to see my friends and family again, But, im grateful. I just dont know what to be grateful yet.

The Captain was pretty remarkably. He told us he was probably not coming back from this mission without remorse, or fear. I looked around, many soldiers were thinking to themselves. Would they see there family and friends again, there loved ones? I had only my Father, who could die any day. If I died only he would miss me, and for only a few days longer. For all I knew my Father was dead. I looked over most soldiers were back doing what they were doing. I looked across the outpost and saw Kirsty just sitting on a tree. Interesting. This was one of the most dangerous mission yet, most of us won't becoming back, but if I die, die for the Enclave my Father will be pleased. If he is still alive then.

The briefing did not comfort me any more. I took of my helmet and scratched my sweaty hair. Wouldn't it be amazing just to settle down, start a family. But that wasn't what I needed to think about now. I walked back towards the rock and settled down. I felt old inside. I was physically fit, but inside I felt like an old defenseless man. It felt horrible.

I took out a blanket from my pack and made myself a small resting place. I didn't know if I'd get any rest tonight. I knew I was on patrol at midnight. I decided not to read my book. It was for the best. I cleaned my rifle and pistol, then took of my power armor. I had an hour to rest. I took my backpack and settled it near the rock. I used it as a pillow. The bag was uncomfortable to lay my head on but it worked. I just sat there watching the others.

I was sleeping peacefully until someone smacked me in the face and woke me up. I was very confused until I realized it was the captain! I jumped to attention and listened to the briefing. Afterwards the words started to sink in, my first mission was to be a suicide one. I got my mind off our impending doom and thought of ways I could help. Then I realized something, this was my chance to prove myself! So I picked myself up, dusted myself off and began preparations. I was excited of the prospect of participation in the battle so I began reciting radio call signs and such.

I noticed that quite a few men looked nervous, very nervous. I sighed, I really shouldn't have explained it like I did. I had nothing to do, as some of the other men hadn't arrived, and because of it I had to stay in the same spot. I just sat there in the same spot for a while, but I became really nervous without thinking about what it was. I realised that I knew I was probably going to die. I stood up, not many people noticed or aknowledged me, so I walked out of the camp. I just kept walking south for about 10 minutes until I got to a very tall hill. I climbed to the top and noticed something that sent a chill through my spine. There was a group of Brotherhood of Steel, very small, but that was the problem. They were being chased by a giant group of Deathclaws, about 13 of them. The Soldiers were running straight to our position, they had no chance. And we might even lose a man if the Deathclaws made it back. I gulped and ran back to the camp, disturbing eveyone on the way in.
"Get your gear ready! This'll prove your mettle," I shouted.
Right as I said those words I saw the Brotherhood soldiers come into everyone elses view. A couple scoffed and laughed but they all fell silent when they was what was following the soldiers.
"Everyone, get into defensive positions now!" I yelled.
Then I realised something, that even with all of us together, we wouldn't be able to do this without extra firepower. I cursed, and then remembered right at the back of the camp, we had heavy weaponry for emergencies.
"Someone get the emergency supplies at the back of the camp! NOW!" I yelled, pulling out my laser rifle, taking aim and firing the first shot.

(OCC: Anyone who hasn't made it to the camp yet, just basically come into the middle of all of this. Like say you just arrived, and you noticed that we're getting pummeled by Deathclaws so you quickly jump into help, etc. something like that. Whatever you think fits your character's tactics)

I sprang in to action immediately. The soldiers were running very fast, but the deathclaws caught up with them. One or two were sliced in two, while the others got cut up. I pulled out my rifle and took aim for the distant figure. The deathclaw had spotted us and was charging. I fired two cells at the deathclaw. The deathclaw didn't seem to get hurt by the hits. I ran back towards the back of the camp firing all the time. I found the crate and opened it. A plasma rifle in perfect condition. I took it out and fired three rounds at that same deathclaw. It took the deathclaw down just before he reached me. I then started to fire at all the deathclaws. I took out another, but it was to late. They were already in the camp.

This was it. I Quickly Got into my defencive Position. I knew if i diead, This mission would surely Fail. I cant risk it. My mind was confused on what i was going to do. Suddenly, I saw the brotherhood of steel. They seem to be a small bunch. I scoffed. Suddenly i saw Deathclaws..... "oh [censored]" i said. They were chasing the Brotherhood Of steel.

Men were fighting the Brotherhood Of steel.
Suddenly, One of the opposition came towards me.
I Had an Adrenaline rush and Ran towards him, While on the way, Getting the First Hit.
That guy was out for the count...
Suddenly Another one charged towards me.
This time, I decided to get out my laser Pistol.
I shot at him and he died.
Suddenly, I ran back to the base and got out a Fat Man.
This was going to be fun.

Suddenly Deathclaws Were charging towards me....
I decided to use the Fat Man.
"eat mini nukes" i said as i shot at them.
Hopeing that they alll died, I quickly made sure i still had ammo.

Healing poeple is easy, like pie, but Killing them.... Soo much harder
