(OOC: Argh, sorry guys I haven't been able to post much. I'm really sick at the moment and I just can't bring myself to write anything decent. Hopefully I won't fall too far behind but I'm not sure when I'll be better, so I'll see how I go. Again sorry.)

(OOC: That's fine man, I don't mind, I won't take it too fast or nothing... Heads up, I'm finally back home for good again and I'm cheery as all hell; so things might get lifted up a little more with my posts. Feel free to do whatever you want guys, I'm letting you go free rein, don't be afraid to talk to anyone in the RP either... I'll control anyone too important, and if you want, make up friends/colleagues etc to talk to.)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mumbling into my arms I began to ramble on to myself about something to do with genetics and physics. Suddenly waking myself up from the weird slumber I scratched my eyes, looking at my hands I found them trembling. Clenching my fists I breathed deeply, then un-clenched them and switched on my Terminal. Stretching for a few seconds I began to feel my eyes then my legs twitch again, scowling I forced myself to stop.

Scratching my chin for a few seconds I opened up my messages compartment, I had a few reports from multiple divisions. Skimming through them I found absolutely nothing important nor interesting... Until I came upon the most recent report, my fingers immediately stopped and my eyes grew rounder very quickly. I decided whether or not to send it out on the intercom, taking a quick breath I forwarded the report to General Winter's office.

Sitting back in the chair I tapped my fingers against each other, this was just the beginning wasn't it? Sighing lightly I waited in the chair for a minute or two, then I quickly got a message from the General. It was quite simple:

Send out a report, now.

Tapping my fingers next to the mic I quickly depressed the button, "Attention, all soldiers have to pay attention right now. This is a Level 2 Emergency Broadcast, we have just recently gotten in a report from one of our outer Outposts. It turns out that the Lone Wanderer is on the move, he just took out approximately twenty soldiers, a dozen scientists and half a dozen Elite Hellfire Troopers.

With the report that was sent, it seems that a few soldiers were left alive to report back to base... They also mentioned that they were going to die after they sent the report, as well as that it seems an attached file was sent. It seemed to be a photo of the Lone Wanderer, who is wearing a white set of T-51B Power Armor and holding what seems to be a Plasma Rifle. Last, but not least, it seems that the Brotherhood are planning an assault on Blood Gulch.

Everyone must be on high-alert, absolutely everyone; if your given guard duty you must attend. There are no reasons to miss guard duty apart from Grade-A important meetings. That is all, god bless America."

Taking a quick gulp of air I moved my hand through my hair... How the hell could this happen to me? Looking at my hand I saw it shaking again, sighing again I just let it rest upon the table and do what it wanted to do... The time was inevitable.

Sara exited the room into her bedroom, leaving Gregory to think about all this. He had had this disease the shortest, had it not infected him fully like the others? And why was Colonel Pavlic bothered so much, it's something other than the disease. He wondered why the group of them had been infected, why not others? Was there a connection between all of us, if so what was it? He thought of this for a second, until Sara walked out in normal clothing, not in her Officers uniform anymore.

But then she asked him to tell about himself, and he didn't know if he should be telling the truth, or not. But Sara had been very open to him, and he felt that lying would destroy this. Everyone thought he had been born to a scientist in an other base, only to come here after his parents where paralyzed, leaving him to come here. No, he was going to tell her the truth, knowing she would never give the information to the Colonel. " The truth is that I wasn't born an Enclave soldier, I was actually from the Brotherhood Of Steel, son of a BOS officer"". He-he had high hopes for me, but one day I decided to leave, telling nobody". He took a deep breath and began talking again. " I've never told anyone this, but I trust you to keep it to yourself"

"If the colonel did find out, I'd probably be kicked out, so please keep it to yourself". He couldn't believe he just told her who he really was, as he had promised to himself he would tell no one. The intercom flicked to life, Colonel Pavlic telling about there casualties from the Lone Wanderer, and how the BOS might launch an attack. " Now, what about you"

Sara examined the slide while listening to Gregory tell her about his life. The information he had imparted was entirely unexpected. She had expected him to make small talk, instead, he told her what could only be his deepest secret. Sara ignored the first urge she had, which was to remove the pistol taped to the underside of the desk, and blow his brains out with it. Sara hated the BOS above all else, and in her mind, the fact that he had left, granted him little to no redemption in her eyes. Sara removed the slide and replaced it with the sample she took from Gregory. Before examining it, she got up from the desk, walked over, and gave Gregory a small kiss.

"Don't worry, your secret is safe with me." Sara had no intention of telling the colonel about Gregory's involvement with the BOS. Even though she was supposed to report something like this, she felt no need to. Even if someone else found out about this, Sara was confident that the consequences she would face would be minor. Not too mention that if the colonel found out about Gregory, he would probably send Gregory to Sara anyway. She looked into Gregory's eyes for a moment and gave him a look that denoted more than just friendship, and walked back over to the desk and began to examine his sample.

"My life is pretty standard I guess. I'm an Enclave brat. My parents were scientists and taught me everything I know." Sara looked up from the microscope and at Gregory. "My mother was a brilliant scientist and a wonderful woman and my father?" Sara paused for a moment and a look of fear appeared on her face. "I'd rather not talk about him if I don't have to." Sara turned her attention back to the sample and wanted to break out laughing. Instead she shook her head and made it look like she wanted to change the subject. Sara opened one of the drawers on the desk and removed two syringes and placed them on the desk.

"Being a soldier, I will assume that you know how to use a syringe. Could you do me a favour and inject yourself with both of these and we can move on to the next step." Sara had to switch back to the colonel's slide for a moment. She could see a difference between the two and thought that her theory for detecting the virus at an earlier stage would work. Sara got up from the desk again and moved to a cupboard on the wall. From it, she removed two glasses and a bottle of wine. She placed the three items on the desk and looked at Gregory.

"May I offer you a drink? I don't know about you, but I sure could use one after hearing the colonel's announcement." Sara started to fill the first glass and smiled.

Henry walked out of the arena to see many troops cheering for him, today, life was good. Henry was bombarded with numerous congratulations and some prize money as well. Some of them however, was angry for having their team lose because they had lost a good deal of money. Henry brushed pass them and started heading back to the barracks when he heard the colonel's alert message. "Lone Wanderer? Damn!" Henry was reminded of how the simulations with the Lone Wanderer usually resulted in defeat and how he had died last time. He walked into the barracks and met up with his squad leader, a grizzled veteran named Jack Moore.

"All right men we have been given the orders to construct additional defenses and to assist the engineers to construct a steel ring around the base! Then we make sure no one gets through!" shouted the Sergeant grabbing his plasma rife.

"Yes sir!" everyone replied.

Henry moved outside and spent the next hour digging trenches, planting mines, and deploying sentry turrets. Then he got a call from the Sergeant Moore that they needed him to get over to the science lab and to pick up some fission batteries for the sentry turrets. Joyed that he didn't have to dig any more holes he ran back to the base and entered the science lab. Inside was incredibly quiet and he realized a bit too late that he may be ganged up on because he had beaten their team. Henry silently walked around until he found what seemed like and unused science lab and entered. What he saw was Captain Carter and Sergeant Gregory with drinks in their hands and a look between them that seemed like they were having a moment and would not like being disturbed. Looking around he realized that he had stumbled inside the scientists private quarters. Fearing for the worst he tried to leave the room quietly but it was clear already that he had been spotted. Sneaking around in power armor wasn't an easy thing. Embarrassed to have stumbled upon them like that he stammered " S-sorry, um, wrong room, I was uh, looking for some fission batteries, uh, OK I'll just go now," Henry turned around to leave only to find that the door closed itself because he had pressed a button accidentally and it also locked by itself.
Oh, dear, I'm in a world of trouble.

Sara looked tense when he told her about his involvement in the Brotherhood Of Steel, almost angry. He hoped this hadn't ruined there friendship, he had grown a liking to her. After putting the slide with his blood on it, she walked over to him and kissed him, leaving Gregory in complete shock and happiness. He could tell that this was more than just a normal friendship, and he liked that. She told him that that information was safe with her, and he felt great that he could tell someone something and know that she would keep it a secret. She looked into his eyes for a moment, and went back to examined the blood sample.

Sara then told him about her life, being born to Enclave scientists, being pretty normal. Until she began to talk about her father, stopping and saying she didn't want to talk about him. Gregory was very interested about her father, but respected her with her choice to not to tell him. she looked afraid almost, causing Gregory to wonder. She than reached into her desk and pulled out two syringes filled with something.

He injected them into his arm, feeling pain, and then quickly a numb feeling. She looked at his slide and another person's blood, most likely someone who was infected. She looked up from her microscope and went over to a cabinet, grabbing a bottle of wine and some glasses. She asked him for a drink and he said yes, feeling thirsty. Sara said she felt a tad tense after the Colonel's announcement. He took a sip and looked at her. She was a great person and Gregory felt great being with her. A soldier then walked in, a look of embarrassment on his face. He said he was sorry for interrupting, and thought that the place was empty. He turned around, only to find the door locked. Gregory had to laugh a little, as he was know stuck here. " Hey there, the door's locked isn't it" Gregory said snickering. " You might as well make yourself comfortable until we get that door open".

Sara watched as Gregory laughed at Henry's predicament. She rolled her eyes in her head, and if it had not been for Gregory's presence, Sara would have made sure that he never forgot his visit to her room. She didn't like uninvited guests but still thought that he might prove useful. Sara could see the trepidation on his face, and decided to make him feel a little more comfortable.

"No harm done private." Sara smiled at him. "Fission batteries you say? Hang on just a moment." Sara moved to her computer desk and typed in some information. After a few moments the printer on the desk whirred to life and two pieces of paper printed out. She took the papers and walked over to Henry, handing them to him.

"The first paper is a requisition form. Take it to the main lab and they will give you all the batteries you need. The second is a request of transfer. You will take that to your sergeant and give it to him. From this point on, you will be under my direct command." Sara was filled with glee. The game with Gregory was already going so well, and now a new playmate had shown up. And as he was only a private, he would not be able to argue with her.

"After you have spoken with the sergeant, take a little time for yourself. I will call you when I have need of you." Sara returned to the desk and pushed a small button on the underside. There was a loud buzzing, accompanied by the sound of the door unlocking.

"Off you go." Sara motioned in the direction of the door. She was wondering what kind of wrath she would incur from the colonel. Sara had overstepped her bounds and she knew it. The colonel wouldn't be happy, but she would give him no choice in the matter. With the limited time the colonel had remaining, he would be in no position to argue with her. Sara turned back to Gregory as Henry left the room.

"Just so you know, the first syringe was a low grade sedative. When it kicks in, which should be at any moment, you will feel relaxed, but you will be alert. The second contained rad-x. You see, I need you to get into the radiation chamber for a couple of minutes." Sara thought that this might sound like a bad idea to Gregory. She walked up to him and placed her hand on his cheek.

"I don't want you to worry. I won't let anything happen to you. Unfortunately I need your cells to have a large dose of radiation in them for my experiment to work. As soon as your done in the chamber, we'll hook you up with some rad away and a nice glass of Brahmin milk." Sara walked over to the chamber and opened the door for him.

Sara handed Henry a requisition forum, and unlocking the door for him. She ushered him out the door and turned back to Gregory. He snickered once more. Sara then told him that he had taken a drug that would relax him, which he was already feeling. He had also taken a dose of rad-x, for something. He wondered why she had given him rad-x, what was it for.

She than said for him to get into the radiation chamber for a couple minutes. Gregory became worried, but lost the feeling when Sara laid a hand on his cheek. He knew she wouldn't harm him in any way, and Gregory began walking towards the chamber. " Thank you, thank you for letting me be able to tell you those things and keep it a secret. Thank you for caring for me", the last part came out a little choked. He entered the small room, and Sara shut the door. He couldn't see it, but he knew that radiation began to slowly swirl around him. He wasn't worried though, he knew Sara wouldn't lhurt him in any way. He then felt totally relaxed, standing there.

Gregory got into the chamber. The door shut and the machine came to life, irradiating Gregory. Sara watched the dial on the machine slowly creep upwards. She pushed the intercom button on the machine.

"Now I'm going to crank it up. We need to get you up to about four hundred rads to get the desired results. Rather than wait, I am going to turn the machine to it's highest setting. The rad-x will keep you from getting too high a dose." With that, Sara turned the dial all the way up, and counted to ten. Once she had reached ten, she hit the panic button on the machine, which immediately shut it down. Sara walked to the desk and retrieved another empty syringe as well as an I.V. pack of radaway. The door on the machine opened, and without a word, she took another blood sample.

Sara led Gregory, who looked ill from the effects of the radiation, to a gurney against one of the walls and had him lay down. She rigged up the radaway and started the I.V. Leaning over, she kissed him gently on the forehead. The look on her face was one of compassion and caring, and she smiled slightly at the thought of how well she could show these emotions. Especially since they were not ones she possessed.

"Just relax. The nausea will pass in a few moments." Sara moved back over to her medical desk, and made a slide with the new sample. While Sara worked, she continued to talk.

"You look liked you wanted to ask me something before. What was it?" Sara finished making the slide and made her way to the particle synthesizer. She had a bit of a spring in her step and shot a smile at Gregory.

The game was going so well. Soon Sara would own him body and soul. The caring gentle little girl which served as her mask was usually quite effective for gaining trust. And of course pretending that she was interested in him didn't hurt. Although there was a chance that others would speak to Gregory and try to warn him about her. And no doubt word world spread thanks to Henry. Still it didn't worry her. No one had actually seen Sara working. And although the rumours about her were true, only a handful of officers in Blood Gulch knew for certain.

Gregory felt the effects of the radiation, he began to feel tired and a wave of nausea hit him. The intercom came to life, Sara telling him that he was needed at 400 rads. Thankfully it was only for a couple of seconds, and a beeping sound occurred when she shut the machine down. As the door opened, Gregory watched as Sara got a pack of rad-away and another empty syringe. She silently took another blood sample, and led him over to a gurney by the wall. He sat down at first, but fell backward to help with the feeling of illness.

Sara bestowed another kiss on him, making Gregory feel like the most important person in the world. Sara made him feel like the most important person in the world. She then set up an I.V. with the rad-away, making him feel better. She then asked him that he looked like he had a question. " I'm sorry if you don't want to talk about it, but who was your father?"

Gregory worried if asking that question would would destroy their friendship, but he was too interested to not ask.

Sara placed the slide on the particle synthesiser and turned toward Gregory. The question really came as no surprise and gave her a little more room to sink her claws in. Sara looked at the floor and brought her hands up behind her head.

"I? I? no one's ever asked me about him before." Sara closed her eys and looked as though she were straining to recall some painful memory.

"My father was a scientist for the Enclave as well. He? he?." Sara stopped and turned her back. She stayed silent for a moment.

"He used to do bad things to me." Sara was actually smiling, though with her back turned there was no way for Gregory to tell. Even if he had the strength to walk over to her, she would hear him coming and be able to change her expression.

"I found out later that he was working for the BOS along with my mother. I? turned them in and they were both? killed." It was time for some tears and Sara started to sob.

"He took so much away from me, and although I can never get it back, at least I know he's gone." Sara used her arm to wipe away her tears and flicked the switch on the machine.

Gregory listened to Sara as she told about her father, feeling horrible that he had asked that question. He now realized why she hadn't wanted to talk about, and wanted her to forget it. Even though it hurt to do so, he pulled out the I.V. cord on his arm, feeling he no longer needed it, and sat up. He managed to stand up, walking over to her as she hit a switch on a machine. " I'm sorry for asking that, if there is anything I can do to help get the thought out of your mind, just tell me".

"But, I don't understand, why haven't you turned me in. You know I was involved in the Brotherhood Of Steel. If you turned in your own father, why haven't you turned in me?"

Sara turned to Gregory and had an angry look on her face amidst the new tears which were starting to stream down her face. Oh how she adored men. So easily manipulated, so easy to deceive. Of course having a nice ass didn't hurt either.

"Why, is that what you want? Is that the kind of person you think I am? My father was a monster and a traitor and?"Sara trailed off again and turned her back on Gregory. She looked down at the floor before speaking. Her voice was soft.

"You? we? look. I have some work to do with this sample, it's really quite involved and requires my full attention. Could you please leave now. I need to be alone." Every game of chess needs a gambit, and this is what this was. Oh how she loved guilt trips. Even if they didn't make any sense, men would fall for them and end up apologizing for something they hadn't done in the first place. He did have to leave now anyway. Sara did have work to do, and playtime was over. But of course, she would probably need him back for more tests later

"No, I don't think your like that, and I'm sorry for bringing it up. I'll-I'll go now". Gregory walked out, feeling terrible on what he had done. She had done nothing to hurt him, and Gregory had made her cry with his questions. He wanted to go back to his bunk and sleep, but he had more important matters. He needed to talk to Colonel Pavlic immediately.

Walking down the steel hallway to the Colonel's room, Gregory stopped and leaned on the wall for a second. What had he done. Sara was looking as she was disliking him more and more. Why the hell did he have to have such a big curiosity, it ruined what he liked the most. Who he liked the most. Gregory began walking again, feeling depressed. He nearly walked backwards towards the barracks, feeling nervous on what he was about to say.

Gregory stopped in front of Colonel Pavlic's office, and called for him on the intercom.

Words, words, everywhere; all across the screen and in my view. The report's, dammit! We weren't ready for this yet, we needed more time... With a scowl I shut down that report and moved on to another, our weapon's were suddenly becoming faulty... I suspected sabotage, but I couldn't truly tell. Rapping my knuckles on the desk I leant back and stared at the screen, time was wasting. Getting out of my seat I went over to the bookshelf and pulled out an old novel.

As I sat back down I heard my name called on the intercom right out of my room, with a sigh I put the book on the desk and got out of the chair. With a few light steps I made my way to the door, then pulled it inwards. Standing outside my office was Gregory, he had an almost haunted look in his eyes with a sunken, depressed expression. Tapping my fingers on the side of the door I came to one conclusion, but why he was here was a complete other question.

What the [censored] has she done to him? Look at those eyes... God. Scowling I pushed the thoughts out of my mind and said, "Yes? Can I help you?"

Gregory walked into the room and sat down. " Colonel, god, I feel terrible." " I've been lying to you, to everybody. I'm really not who you think I am, I can't tell the God damned truth to anyone." Expect Sara, I could tell her what I wanted to, and I would feel safe with her. But, I can't keep this one to just her, I have to tell you."

"Me, I was born a Brotherhood Of Steel member, my father a high ranking officer". Gregory breathed deeply, " I never came here out of my own free will, I was sent here, as a Brotherhood of Steel member, to eliminate you.

"So kill me if you want to, I just couldn't keep that in anymore". Gregory looked down, feeling, well nothing. He knew that the Colonel would most likely kill him for telling the truth, as he was a BOS spy, but he didn't really care. He almost felt if it was better if he was to die.

As Gregory said that I stopped, completely, my entire body held rigid. I wondered if he'd realised what he'd just admitted to, breathing deeply I quickly said, "Sit down." As he walked through the door I closed it behind him, moving to the desk I sat in my chair and took a few more breaths. I looked Gregory in the eye, I could see it right then that he wasn't lying.

Cracking my knuckles I took another breath, "Gregory... Just... [censored]. You know what position you've put me in right? As being a Spy it's bored into my head to kill you, right here, right now, execution style... But, this has to be changed because of one simple thing, your suffering from this disease just like the rest of us and you are the one who's had it the shortest amount of time. As such, we can't kill you... Yet.

Goddamit Greg, you do know what you've done? If I don't report you right now to get you killed I could get killed myself! But since we need you... Dammit Gregory... Just... Look, I can't kill you since your one of us, but since your one of them as well we don't have to be gentle anymore. Get back to the Barracks, get back to your normal duties until Sara calls you again. Just... Get out, now."

Not even checking to see that he was gone I typed out a message to Sara, it said:

Captain! It seems that you and I both know that Gregory is a BoS spy... Protocols call that I kill him, but I can't.
He's got the disease, which means he needs to be helped and be learnt from. You're given all options open to do whatever you want to him.
Don't kill him yet though... We still need him.

Sending the message I just sighed and closed my eyes, "Goddamit Gregory..."

Gregory walked out, thinking of what he had said. He had admitted to being a spy, and knew that everything was going to get tougher. He knew that Sara's tests where going to get much worse, as the colonel most likely gave her permission to do whatever she wanted to him. She would probably kill him afterwords. Greg continued walking, opening the door to his barracks. He sat down on his bed, putting his hands on his face.

Greg reached his hand behind his bed, grabbing a Pre-War book about a famous war hundreds of years ago. Tears started to drizzle down his face, and he wiped them off. He was sad he had lied to everyone, including Sara. She had cared for him, and he destroyed it. He ruined any form of connection between the two of them, and Greg missed that.

Some time had passed since Gregory had left and Sara was examining slide under the microscope. She really felt that she was on to something. Possibly something that could slow the progression. Although it acted like a virus, it was not a disease. This was something different entirely. Sara could now see it in the blood sample provided by Gregory and realized what it was doing. The first thing she needed to do was?

The computer on the desk began to beep at the sound of a new message. Sara wanted to ignore it, but knew the machine would continue to annoy her with the incessant beeping. She walked over to the desk, leaned over, and read the message.

When Sara had finished, her jaw dropped. She didn't get surprises very often, but when she did they were big ones. Gregory was a spy. Sara had to smile at this for a couple of reasons. The first of which was that the colonel had imparted a piece of information she didn't know. Although Gregory had told her he was born into the BOS, she didn't know that he was still working for them. The second reason for Sara's now evil grin, was because this changed the game. Gregory had changed the rules and as such, her strategy would have to change. Sara made her way back into the bedroom to get changed to go see the colonel. Despite the message, Sara felt a need to go see him. She had an idea, a way to turn this into an advantage.

____________________________________________________

Sara arrived at the colonel's office and entered. The colonel was sitting at his desk as always, and appeared to be in a foul mood. She walked over and stood in front of the desk. Sara figured the colonel probably wouldn't be over happy to see her at this point. She hadn't reported what she'd "learned" and that wouldn't look good. There was only one solution, she would have to be truthful.

"Sorry to interrupt you sir, but I received your message. I want you to know that I didn't know he was still working for the BOS. He had told me that he left them. But sir, if you will permit me, I think I have an idea. And in the end, we'll have the upper hand with the almighty Brotherhood."

Looking up at Sara I cocked an eyebrow then said, "Can't I get a moment's [censored] rest today? Alright, Captain Carter, tell me your plan. If your thinking of holding him hostage, that won't do anything against them; he's already imparted enough info at a guess. We still need him to experiment on at the least, you know this Sara. So what is it that you think could be better than this? Hurry up, please, I just want to rest for at least an hour after all this."

Leaning back into my chair I lifted up the book and took a quick read of the first few lines. They hit home, I closed the book and threw it off to the side, it read:

'A Treasury of The World's Best Loved Poems'

Scowling again I stared at Sara, "Out with it, please, I'm tired of having to wait for everyone else to do things these days. It seems like Blood Gulch has turned into... Into... Some sort of Enclave Soap Opera!"

Henry was infuriated at what he had gotten himself into. "that woman has no right to transfer me!" He shouted to himself as he handed the fission batteries to the engineers. Before he went to hand over the documents he knew that he should make it clear to Captain
Carter that he was not stupid, he was educated at West Point, an Enclave military academy dating back from before the war. He wasn't a private because he lacked aptitude. He was an elite infantryman as part of a project to make a unit of intelligent and well trained combat unit! Three months and he would've been an officer. However, he knew he had no choice but to comply.

Greg remembered when Sara had hugged him, even kissed him, he knew that know that would be replaced by torture and injury. Hate and anger. " Sir, your needed in the medical bay", a private had dared to interrupt him. Greg stood up, and proceeded out of the barracks and into the medical bay. " I was requested here sir", Greg said to the medical bay captain. " Ah yes, I would like you to meet someone very important". Greg followed the soldier into a room with only one person in it. She was laying on her side, on the cold, hard ground. " Try to talk to her" the captain said.

Greg went closer and said a hello, she didn't respond. " Umm, hello there, could you please respond". She fixed her eyes on Greg, spooking him. " Sir, what should I do now?" "Leave, now. I have an important matter to attend to." He pulled out a syringe, filled with a blue gel. Greg left immediately, wondering the purpose of that. Greg walked back to his office this time, wanting to be alone.

He wondered who that was, and why he was asked to get her attention. It didn't matter, not to him right now. Greg knew that once they where done with the experiments and was no longer needed, he would be killed after being reported as a spy. " He wondered who would kill him, Pavlic or Sara. He hoped it wasn't Sara, as he couldn't stand having the person who he likes the most kill him.

Greg walked over to his personal terminal, writing about his life, about him, his likes and dislikes. He finished it with something very true to his heart, and copied it onto a text holotape. He deleted the information on his computer, leaving the data in his pocket. He sat back and felt drowsy, maybe a quick nap he thought.

No, he had to stay awake, too much was going on. Greg stood up and began a walk around the base, stopping half-way around. He leaned against the wall, thinking about what Pavlic had said. He said I'd be dead right now if it wasn't for my current acquisition with the disease. Greg began his walk back, trying to clear his mind yet again.

Sara gave the colonel a concerned look. Not only was he abnormally agitated, he also looked like death was warming over. She leaned over the desk and looked at his pupils, which were dilated. Sara also felt that he appeared to be exhausted. She needed to tread lightly.

"Colonel what we have is a BOS spy who can provide us with valuable intel. And, as you said, we need him to help cure this thing which has infected us. In the time he was in my office I had him eating out of the palm of my hand. I really didn't expect him to do what he did. Sara paused for a moment she needed to catch her breath. She was giddy with excitement.

"Now by rights he should be executed so what I'm proposing is?."

As Sara explained her plan my mood changed a little, just a little, more into a nicer zone at least. It brang a smile to my face, with a nod I agreed and quickly sent out a message to the barracks. Within a few seconds I got a message back, grinning ear to ear I nodded at Sara, she smiled as well and moved out of the room. I looked at the reply message:

We'll bring Gregory to Interrogation Room 1A, he'll be there within minutes.

Smiling again I sat back in the chair, a rip of pain danced across my back, with a scowl I hunched over. It dissapeared as quickly as it had come, taking a few breaths I returned back to my original position, leaning back again. My time was running out, ever so slowly. Picking up the book I'd originally intended on reading I flipped a few pages to my favourite one, the first few lines read:

'She walks in beauty like the night,
Of cloudless climes and starry skies,
And all that's best of dark and bright,
Meet in her aspect, and her eyes.'

That was the only soft thing about me, the fact that I liked poetry.

A hand grabbed his arm, pulling him without a warning. " Move, now. I have orders to bring you to interrogation cell 1A." Greg knew this would happen, but he thought he would have a little more time. A soldier decked in Enclave Power Armour was also following them, so he didn't dare to try to escape now. He felt a wave of anger pass over him, not for the Colonel, but for himself for failing everyone.

The officer opened the door and pushed him in the small room. The officer left and locked the door. The officer oddly hadn't checked him for anything dangerous. He had a small knife and the text holotape in his pocket. He pulled the tape out, reading it again. How would he get it to where he needed it to go? Greg sighed, and looked around. There must be an emergency control panel in here somewhere.

Greg noticed a small, darker panel on the wall. He went over to it and pried it open. A small emergency control panel that requested a password. He took out his knife and began to open it with his knife.

Footsteps echoed outside, having Greg put the wall panel back on, and swear to himself as this couldn't be good
