More shots rang from my rifle as they slammed against the shields on the robot. As I kept up attacking in one spot I noticed that the shields seemed to be flickering in that one spot. Scowling lightly I thought of something else, they were EXPECTING me to use a Railgun since it was so powerful... Which meant...

Noticing that Sara was climbing higher and higher up on the Mainframe it seemed that the Robot had the same idea. It turned to her and raised it's fists in the air, with a roar I sprinted at the hunk of metal and bulldozed through one of it's legs. The leg moved around me but it put the machine off balance and it missed Sara by a few feet.

Turning around to look at the machine I raised my fist and swung at the leg, going straight through the shield and leaving a small dent in the metal. Realisation struck me, but it was to late for me to act on it now. The robot leant down and picked me up instead of just crushing me, it then proceeded to throw me at a wall.

As the air rushed around me I realised that this could quite be my end, so I brought my hand to my ear in those last few seconds and said, "Sara? Please don't screw up." Then all I felt was pain rushing up through my body as I slammed against the wall, all the oxygen in my lungs went straight out and into the confines of my helmet.

The room slowly went black and all I could think to myself was, I wonder if she'll remember what I said not too long ago...

Sara scrambled up the stairs that twisted in and out of the mainframe's core. The entire room was shaking from the pounding fists of the robot. She was finding it hard to keep her footing as the structure rocked. As she neared the top the fist came down and narrowly missed Sara, but took out a section of the stairs. Sara teetered on the edge for a moment trying to retain her balance as she saw the robot pick up the Colonel and threw him into one of the walls. Sara gasped slightly and, using all her force, jumped the gap.

Sara had finally reached the top and ran full speed to the terminal. Gasping for air, she activated it. Sara quickly began to hack her way into the computer, which was extremely easy die to the fact that Sorein had dumped the entire memory into the robot. Sara opened a file which was labelled "uplink" as an idea came to her. She used the uplink to access the terminal in her office. She quickly scanned through her files and then downloaded on of them to the mainframe terminal. Moving back to the uplink folder, she started to try to connect to the robot. It only took her a way to hack though the encryption, which was relatively light. Sara supposed that Sorein hadn't counted on anyone making it this far. Once she was in, she transferred the virus to the robot and activated it.

"Everybody get down!!!!!" Sara screamed into the COM link and hit the deck.

The robot was in the process of bringing it's fist down to pulverise Ross, when it began to spasm. Ross quikly darted to the side, just dodging the fist as it came down.

"What's happening!!!" Sorein's voice echoed throughout the room and it turned to face the mainframe. "what have you done you [censored]!!!" The robot stomped forward and brought up it's fist. It meant to bring down the entire mainframe structure. As it did, sparks began to shoot out of the robot and the plating started to crack. The robot brought it's fist down , and it's head exploded. As it toppled over, crashing into the mainframe.

As the robot fell, Sara tried to move out of the way, but she had nowhere to go. The robot crashed into the mainframe toppling it over. As Sara hit the floor, she lost consciousness as she could feel her bones breaking.

My head was ringing with pain, nothing seemed clear and all that was normal was now distorted. Ross looked at both myself and Sara, thinking about who to run to first, scowling at himself he ran towards Sara and leant down over her. Her breath was short, raggedy and she looked to be in serious pain, so Ross pulled out some meds from a compartment in his armor. Flicking the syringe a few times, Ross brought the syringe into Sara's neck and injected the liquid into her bloodstream.

Scowling lightly I let my head continue spinning for a few more seconds then I pushed myself up to a kneeling position. Looking around slowly I noticed Ross leaning over Sara and Demetri and Henry standing, stunned, at what had happened. As I tried to push myself to a standing position I realised I couldn't lift myself up any more than that, scowling I just closed my eyes and wondered at what would happen.

It felt like my whole body was broken on me, then I truly realised what was wrong. The meds in my armor were running dry, I was almost out of stuff to pump into my system. Pushing myself to my limit I got to my feet slowly and tried to walk towards the door, but I tripped over my legs and fell face-first into the ground. Pain rushed through my body and I felt myself on the teetering edge of death.

Thoughts rushed through my head and I tried to raise my hand to hit the emergency meds button, but as it got close I couldn't find any more strength left. My hand fell to my side and the unconsciousness hit me again like a wave; blackness engulfed me.

Sara opened her eyes. Ross, who was looking down on her, had obviously injected her with something. Although she was in serious pain, what she was feeling was nothing to the pain she would have been in if not for the drugs. Sara took a quick mental inventory of her injuries, which seemed to be extensive. Her left wrist was broken and her left hand was shattered One of her legs was broken ad she could tell that her ribs were broken.

COM link?" Sara's eyes were only half open when she spoke the words to Ross. Her brought his hand to Sara's ear and pushed the button.

"This is General Carter." Sara's voice was strained and she was speaking slowly. "The resistance has been defeated. All Enclave soldiers are ordered to continue the cease fire with the Brotherhood until further notice. Demetri Green will be in command until I recover." Sara's head was starting to spin. "That's?an?.order." Sara closed her eyes and lost consciousness.

Henry was stunned by how surprisingly quick the fight was. He was also angry at how the commanders would personally risk their lives and leave them without leadership. He snapped out of it when the colonel went down. Seeing as the Lone Wanderer immediately ran over to Sara and helped her he had to go and help the colonel. He ran over to him and wondered what exactly he could do. Seeing as the colonel's last movements were to try and press a red button by his neck Henry pressed it for him and heard the sound of chems being released into his bloodstream.

Whatever the drugs that kept the colonel alive was, it did the job. He began to stir slightly and knowing that he would be fine Henry grabbed his rifle and ran over to the robot's head. It appeared to also contain a pod that would likely be used to carry around the pilot or simply a passenger. Sorein was in there and since no one else seemed to be in a hurry to get him Henry had to make sure he didn't try anything else. The pod had a sealed hatch on it but Henry just burned through it with his plasma rifle and opened it. Inside he found a scared yet defiant Sorein. Henry took satisfaction in punching Sorein in the face and taking out several of his teeth. Then he dragged a ragged Sorein out over to Demetri and asked "I found this worm still inside the robot, what should we do with this traitor?" He spat on the ground and knocked Sorein to the ground for good measure.

After all the trouble the traitor had caused it was good to get some payback. He wondered whether Sorein would suffer the same fate as Viktoria Ivanov. It was a pretty bad way to die, getting sliced up like some sushi and splattered all over the ground. However he almost wished that it wouldn't end. They accomplished a whole lot more teaming up with the Brotherhood than the Enclave could ever do by itself. Hopefully with new leadership things would stay this way.

Demetri watch as the robot tumbled, both the colonel and the general were wounded, and will be unable to do much. Demetri watched as Ross went between the two helping get them back on their feet. Sara seemed to of given Demetri tempory command until further notice wasn't that appeasing to Demetri, commanding and administrating a squad was one thing, but an army.

Demetri removed his helmet just as Henry got into the robot and got hold of Sorein who was brought to Demetri's feet. Demetri put many thoughts through his head, most will call for the man's head, but Demetri knew that if they did that straight away nothing would be found out, Sorien and Viktoria can't of been the only big names, and there must be others, out there in the waste, also they actually knew very little about the resistance. "Give him to the interrogators," Demetri said, "He can still give us infomation." Sorein's eyes opened in terror, interrogators was just a fancy word for torturers
