Currently doing a Dead Money run with my character. I've never used this rifle outside of the DLC. Is it actually a pretty good weapon to use further into the game? My current character is energy weapons based, so I'm thinking I might sell my Tri-Beam Laser Rifle when I get back to the Mojave. Wise move, or?

it is a pretty decent weapon when modded though for open combat you may perfer the tri-beam
