The Hoover Dam Convention

It is now late 2282. It has been about a year since the tops convention, Vegas' changes are quickening, and the "electronic forges of a new rail-line, running straight into the horizon" is finally more than just a thought. It is a possibility. Tensions between Mr. House and NCR have ended, and the two groups have been growing closer ever since the Tops Convention. The Brotherhood of Steel has grown, not to its former glory, but has accumulated a number of knight and paladin ranks. Enough so that they could finally begin to protect the southern mojave and become a valuable asset to Mr. House. The SMU has become an economic frontier for the mojave. Their trading partnership with the Crimson Caravan and the Gun Runners has caused them to re-introduce home defense to those who did not have it before. The Ambassadors of the many great and growing societies in Vegas are meeting together to discuss the threat of the Legion, and to unify the groups and changes of the Mojave into one great society.

CHANGES SINCE THE EVENTS OF FALLOUT NEW VEGAS:

Primm: Now allied with the state of utobitha and Novac-Nipton, and is now part of a group called the SMU. Primm now has two working casinos that has caused the city to prosper and gain many travelers. The state of utobitha has kindly sent a few nightkin to Primm as crime security. There is now a crimson caravan office in Primm.
Novac-Nipton: Novac, with the help of Primm and the State of Utobitha has renovated Nipton and formed the two cities into one society. The Gun Runners and Crimson Caravan have established offices inside Nipton, and it has become a large trading/caravan hub. The nipton gas station/rest stop has now been restored to also be a good stop on the Long-15 for travelers.
State of Utobitha: With the help of Mr. House, the State of Utobitha built a large wall outside of Black Mountain to keep all ghouls and humans outside. With the help of Primm and Novac-Nipton, Utobitha has rebuilt their shanty village and is now a thriving community of mutants.
Mr. House: The center of everything in this thread.
Legion: Now a large threat to everything that has been achieved in the Mojave.
NCR: Now friendly with Mr. House, has been slowly putting their influence back inside the mojave, such as re-incorporating their paper money into Mr. House's society, and still having control over the Crimson Caravan and Gun Runners.
Followers of the Apocalypse: With the violent crime in a large drop since Hoover Dam, has expanded its services.
The Kings: Doing the same ol' thing they used to. Freeside is beginning to look better because of Mr. House's widespread control.
Enclave Remnants: Now allied with Mr. House, probably as his closest allies, are now in possession of ED-E, and are finding valuable information from it's memory store. They are also currently in control of Repconn Facility.
Goodsprings: With the powder gangers completely restored, Goodspring prospers while they are kept safe by Victor.
Westside: The Co-op has become a massive success, and the crop growing in Westside is enlarging. Westside is beginning to become a better suitable living place since Hoover Dam.
The Van Graffs: No one knows what they're up to, but it is serious. The Legion and NCR are practically fighting over their resources.
The Crimson Caravan: Now owns offices in Nipton and Primm, and is establishing more effective trade routes in the mojave.
Brotherhood of Steel Remnants: Growing, and recovering from their losses at Hidden Valley and Helios One. They are currently defending the southern mojave, and are the muscle of the SMU.
Jacobstown: Now lives a peaceful existence, no longer being bothered by Mercenaries.
Boomers: Allied with Mr. House, they fire their giant artillery where Mr. House wants it. They are also venturing outside Nellis to greet and trade with travelers, while still keeping outsiders from entering Nellis.
Gun Runners: Now has an office in Nipton.

I say Big MT Research Center should be removed, there is nothing involving them as they are isolated and their original rulers
Spoiler

wanted to destroy the Mojave.

And under Brotherhood for background information you put Roughnecks' name.

Ambassador Crocker- NCR

*Walks into the same conference room from before, elated at the air condintioning that now flows through the room. He removes his brown leather jacket and places it on a coat rack next to the door. After removing the coat Crocker moves back a seat from conference table sits, patienly waiting for the other ambassadors and representatives to arrive.

ooc- agreed. I think it would be best if we left out most DLC. Mainly because some people like myself havn't gotten a chance to play the DLC yet and wouldn't know the first thing about those factions.

If we are to start this tonight, I may only get one or two posts in. I got no sleep last night and am a bit drowsy.

I also agree about the DLCs at least OWB, I haven't got a chance a beat it yet, I have played it though.

OOC: it's actually at hoover dam now.

We still need ambassadors to fill a lot of roles.

SMC at the moment isn't one of the factions. What do you think of this, Sebor?

I'm not sure.
I guess it depends whether the State of Utobitha or the Brothehood are part of the South Mojave Coalition.
