so i have been playing the main quest and i came into this one where you need to learn the last word of power. i did everything needed to learn it but when in the room the word is shown on the floor but i cannot learn it. i have updated the game for ps3 with the most recent update and it was supposed to fix it but still nothing. i have looked everywhere online on how to fix it, and tried everything but still nothing. help would be awsm cause i cannot continue with the main story till i fix it and i cannot complete another quest that involves the grey beards either.

would love some feedback cause i have tried everything and i know there is plenty of people with this problem. if the update says it will fix it and it doesnt what do i do? i hope i dnt have to restart the game over cause that wouldnt be good.

2 points for you:

1. There was nothing in the 1.3 update that should have given you the impression any quest glitch would be fixed, not sure how you got that idea.

2. The Horn of Jurgen Windcaller quest does not require that you learn any words of power. You go to the cave, go through the cave, find that the horn is gone, and leave to go track it down. No new words required. That's probably why you didn't get a response before, nobody knows what you're talking about.

its the last word of power for unrelenting force its on the floor where the greybeard is trying to show it to me its infront of him on the floor but i cant read it. it shows up but doesnt update the word in my magic section making it so i cant continue the main quest because i dnt have all three words for the shout....also in update 1.1 there is a post that says the problem i am having would have been fixed but wen i updated nothing happened, even after 1.2 still nothing

Did you encounter this problem before installing any updates?

ya i wasnt able to read it before the updates. thn updated and still nothing, the word is still printed on the floor though right infront of the grey beard who is trying to teach it, walk up to him and he does arm movements but it doesnt teach the word

You'll probably have to start over then. If you run into a bug and then save the game so the bug gets saved with it, patches often won't be able to fix it. Patches usually just prevent a bug from coming up when you first encounter it, they typically can't dig into your existing save file and pull them out.

Ok...I usually don't like RPG. Because of the hype around Skyrim, I tried it, and I got hooked into Skyrim.
But I feel that Skyrim will be the first adn the last RPG I'll play. Simply because of "The Horn of Jurgen Windcaller Quest" glitch. I can't have the shout I am suppose to have.
I feel betrayed by the Game and the developpers.
I know the game is big and there is a lot to take account. But the lack of patches seems to show, at least for me, no respect for the players. We putted trust and money in you.
I am very sad and angry in the same time. I guess you just lost one more customer that will have any more interest in your half finished games.

At least we're together in our misery...
