I understand that upon entering the strip when Victor speaks you to it's supposed to give you the House Always Wins quest...but it didn't. When I go in Lucky 38, I cannot speak to Mr. House, nothing happens when I click on him. I've tried loading to a save before entering the strip and trying again, but Victor never gives me that quest. Any advice? Is there a console command to give yourself a quest? I can't think of anything else to do, can't talk to House. :/

This happend to me before but it was on another quest, what I did was when i entered the room to Mr.House I reloaded the auto save a couple of times and then I could talk to him. I play on Xbox so if your playing on PC and dont have auto save then idk.

I have tried reloading several times but I still can't talk to him. The problem is that when Victor approced me upon first entering the Strip, it didn't trigger the quest. I can't talk to House, because I don't have the quest (The House Always Wins). Is there a way to give yourself a quest? I have about 45 hours in the game, I could reload an old save but I couldn't imagine which one to load, or how far back, etc.

I just wanted to add that I found the answer, for anyone else that might have this issue in the future. Go to the Wiki here http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/The_House_Always_Wins and scroll down to "Bugs" type in all the console commands listed there and it fixes it (gave me the quest, and now can talk to House) for me.
