The hype is real. My body is ready.

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 12:02 pm

As of this post, Fallout 4 is 9 days, 13 hours, and 10 minutes away from release.

I have boarded the hype train, as the conductor, and this train is leaving the station. However, this hype train is missing brakes, but I don't care!

This is an adequate comparison of how I feel about Fallout 4. Oh, the nostalgia. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9eGtyqz4gY

I hear ya No Elves. I can hardly contain myself anymore.

Skyrim is doing a great job keeping me sane, which is a great testament to Skyrim's own longevity, but enough is enough already. I need to pull a Cartman and deep freeze myself for the next nine days.

i requested off of work on the 10th, and 11th. boss said it was ok. and the reason why he said it was ok: he likes fallout too, and he was also planning on taking the 10th off to play it.

=D

I'm just gunna phone in sick, if I ask for the time off and they say no and then I phone in sick, it'll look a bit dodgy.

Also, that video still makes me laugh, what's with the Olsen twins game though?

I hardly use my holiday time, so I told my boss back in June (after E3) that I wanted to finally use up my annual leave. Managed to get 19 days off starting on the 9th! My boss said, use it or lose it! So I'm devoting it to Fallout 4 in homage

I have the 11th, 12th, and 13th off. Just by chance since those are my normal days off. I wouldn't skip work or change my days off for a video game.

And I'm here not able to believe that I am not that hyped at all. Seems like we reached the 100 day mark a Millenia and my excitement is no where near the levels it was.
Hopefully I can get it back to post-E3 levels in the next few days.
Than again, I'm finally not constantly thinking about the release date lol

Just noticed the first tv commercial for Fallout 4 just heard the song and instantly looked at the screen and there it was.

better to be honest anyways. a personal day is a personal day, no matter how you spend your time. if you earned the PTO, its yours to use as you see fit.

i earn 8 hours of PTO a month anyways (1 day off). normally i take one day of the month off as a personal day anyways using the PTO i earn. (i have a backlog of 4 days in case of emergencies) i didnt take my personal day last month as i saved it for November, so its not like it will be missing too much. ;)

You're right, your time off is your time off to do whatever you like. That's pretty cool in my book that your boss was wanting to play F4 too!

That would surprise me too if my boss was like "oh yeah, Fallout 4. I'm taking that day off too.". As far as I know, no one at my place of employment will play Fallout 4.
