The Ice King - Discussion Topic

Post » Fri Jun 11, 2010 6:48 am

Felt like this had to be done, since there were small disputes about things, confusion, et cetera. Apologies to Pandaman77 on making this without permission, but I didn't know when you'd be on next and it needed to be made ASAP, for... Well... Discussion. Of the RP. Called 'The Ice King'.

So, first order of business - Just how many assassins WERE there? I say five at first, then suddenly a sixth, and then a seventh because of follies by the RPers.

...

Discuss.

I'm pretty sure we killed them all anyway :P. Doesn't matter anymore really? Or does it...

So now the assassins are dead. Do we leave to find the Dremora?

I would hope so. Then again, the Brotherhood might prove to be more persistent than an irritable Guar.

Originally we killed 4, one escaped, and then pandaman added a sixth one because of follies. I do not remember reading about a 7th one.

Ok so we must discuss about going to the Daedra. Will there be any random encounters? Another assassination attempt?
Speak your mind guys :)

Speaking from a position of keeping the story interesting, I suggest the usual random encounters, with a few twists. Bandits, of course, will be mandatory. And frost atronachs, since the backstory concerns them. Possibly some wolves, and depending on if we rest a night or not, maybe some undead.

...But we don't want it to be ALL fighting, do we? How about some where we have to convince a vendor to sell us something, or... I dunno. SOMETHING.

I agree it can not be all fighting. There must be some type of diplomatic section, I just hope one of us speechcraft as a skill *goes to find the character sheets* Also, we are heading to Cheydinhal where a Brotherhood sanct is?maybe an attack on the streets at night?

Possibly, but we must remember this is five years after the Oblivion Crisis. The house may or may not have been disbanded. That will be up to me.

Yeah not always fighting. So when we find the Dremora at his house, will he give us a riddle or something to let us in. Or do we have to find an item.
I dunno lol.

So what's the reason for killing him? Will he just attack us or try escape?

We can RP his character trying to slit Gold-Heart's throat, then she throws a poison spell at him and watches him die.

Sure why not... I'll have no problems wiping him out no matter who plays him.

It was epic, yes, but a bit excessive. Ashes? Really? Harsh, bud. Pretty harsh. Could have left his equipment intact, at least. Oh well, what's done is done. Time to move on.

Gold-Heart hates men... If it were a woman she would've only knocked her unconsious.

Oh, obviously. But I think I've got her trapped with her own words. Try to get out of that one without seeming cowardly, and all you come up with is cautious.

...That is, if you don't agree to the terms.

Fehr can be a bit of a... Word twister, sometimes.
