The Immortal Blood Timeline

I never thought power = "uberness". I might be bias because i tend to like stronger characters because i like the whole mythology of struggling with potential.

Lets not lie, its because deep down inside you love stepping on people's dreams and proving yourself the superior being. You also eat babies.

Sounds good.

Trust me your definately not Ubering, which I consider a childish way of being good at everything, I wouldn't even consider Mercury Epic, she's pretty humble. And i can be expected when your surrounded by danger on all sides, and your entire life has been spent mastering magic, you better do well.

I think you've been roleplaying a mature character here, haven't seen any Uberness.

Well, that's good to know. :) All I know is, I was really nervous of RPing with all you guys and I somehow managed to choose my most powerful character for it. I only hope I don't get carried away.

Guess your right.

No reason to be nervous though, I've done pretty stupid things as have everyone else, its the result of watching tv, eating, and posting when your thinking about something else. Your bound to mess up somehow.

Anyone else getting that tingly sensation when something big is about to happen?

I've always considered it fine if you are powerful, but that power has a price (weakness). Take Hukral. He's a massive beast of a man that could make your toughest Orc warrior have to look up and piss his trousers, but he actually sports two weaknesses. He can't cast a lick of magic past his Nordic hereditary abilities, which is a minor weakness really. But his largest is the man has a large heart and powerful morals, so while I have yet to show his more merciful battle side, he often ends up not killing.

Jassan's biggest weakness is enclosed space and prolonged battle.

I'm still not sure what Mercury's weakness is, (besides silver of course) that might hold her back and curb her power from uber into merely powerful, but I know it's there somewhere. :)

My worry concerning ubering is with my army, Helseth's. The last I want to do is uber an army... That's my biggest worry with this roleplay, is how I preform on the commander of legions front.

I'm rather confused on the Breton battle Simithara is in though... we've got sailors charging in to join our cause, yes? And more swordsingers arriving too? I'm lost...

Mmmm chai latte with baby blood.

Ahem. Yes I think Mercury has a 50% weakness in reaching stuff ontop of the counter. Balancing enough.

:lmao:

Never stopped Jassan, and Mercury is likely the only one I would ever know more capable of leaping about than Jas is. :P

Remember, uber= no no, Powerful and Epic= good.

At the moment, the Breton camp is dealing with a handful of swordsingers and one Ansei, while the rest of the army is marching in on you, ahead of them are 72 more sword singers (not at the battle yet), and I believe the marines and sailors are charging in, which I will respond to in my next post.

Lutemoth, an excellent artist has agreed to allow us permission for use of his Hammerfell Art.

Here's some of his concept on Ansei: http://s142.photobucket.com/albums/r89/The_Raisin/?action=view¤t=ansei_coloured_152.png

As well as art on creatures that can be found in Hammerfell such as the Desert Walkers of the Ayuub clan: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v422/wrongfoot/concept/hamfel_creature2d.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v422/wrongfoot/concept/hamfel_creature2.jpg

Hammerfell Scorpion: http://img108.imageshack.us/img108/1905/poundscorpionbd4.jpg

Knights of the Scarab: http://img49.imageshack.us/img49/1323/totambuknightfk6.jpg

Shagun (he wrote them as Redguard assassins): http://www.majhost.com/gallery/Lutemoth/equipment/Hammerfell/enguard.jpg

Hammerfellian Weaponry: http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/3588/sworddesignsl5.jpg His words on the picture of the blades and hilt are as follows.

Reed hilt, a cured and bound handle around the blade that is perhaps the oldest practice of swordmaking. Today, it is cheaper to make, as many prefer modern techniques. A true Reed hilt Raga sword of old is extremely valuable to artifact hunters

Akaviri hilt, being one of the modern practices in sword-making, borrowed from popular Akaviri wrapping design. Perhaps one of the most common designs today.

Ivory, or ornate carved hilt, is a unique work of art. Few Raga craftsman sell them publicly, and fewer yet are found outside the grasp of their owner. One most likely be of noble blood to afford ornate carved handles depicting their glories of battle and heroism.

Dunedweller: http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/489/dunedwellerstandif0.jpg http://img503.imageshack.us/img503/2770/burglarcolouruo5.jpg

Lutemoth is pretty awesome for granting the permission, he has done an enormous amount of work on Hammerfell concept arts, here is his page: http://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15158&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

You have no idea how happy you made Immortal, he had to toss on his outfit and wig, and started dancing around singing his folk songs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=in6Neo_YzpU

That's not our TV shows =/. At least not since the last time i've been there (99). I was flipping through the channels in the morning once and this crap came on and i'm thinking "this has to be some pedophile fantasy. I wonder how many are watching right now...ugh." And I changed it. Go ahead watch like 5 minutes of that crap and say to me i'm wrong. I dare you.

Well, looks like a Dunmer was the one to finally kill Ocato. I think Helseth has something planned. Just don't know who you can trust these days huh Duval? Send them on a nice important mission and next thing you know there killing the closest thing to a leader in the Empire.

Brother, I have no idea what your talking about. In case you were wondering, that was no Ra Gada assassin, therefor I as well as my fellow Ra Gada players have no idea what the plots of Helseth or any Dunmer factions were at the time. Last time I checked, there were a few hundred Morag Tong in Hammerfell for the campaign. Could be an Empire hating Redoran or Dres.

EDIT: Now that I think about it....definately Dres.... :D

Morag Tong? Oooh, Almalien will be soo glad to hear THAT one.

Speaking of which... Could anyone inform me where the Dres are? It either slipped me or I forgot by now, and it'd be nice to make a post with Almalien after such a long break.
