The Immortal Blood Timeline

Well guys, with all the boring parts of a military campaign in full swing, adventurous characters may be a bit more idle.

I'll do my best to work up some fun story arcs and adventures to everyone.

Now, Wikrun vs Vrage. Who wins?

Who knows?

Vrage is a crazy bastard. But he's in his mid-forties...

He does have a bat[censored] crazy big sword though. That glows blue in the dark. And steams. And is so cold it burns.

With any luck, we don't have to find out. :D

Speaking of big swords, i havnt posted Vott in a while, or Varulae, Anrel, Kaasha...i have like half a cast of characters half of the "newer" people don't even know about. :x. I lost most my char sheets on my old comp which is having issues.

What I think needs to be done is a fight with Vott and Vrage.

My money is on Vrage.

EDIT: I also see you guys are making plans on the forums, bastards...I can't even get everyone on the boards at once, let alone conduct a damned plan...

No more traitors though GD.

yea, i havn't posted for him in a while, and at first when i made the sig, i thought he was dead...but at tidus' post mentioning him, once i started looking back he's actually alive...I've got to correct that. as for the cast of alive and dead...those are only the ones i've deemed worthy enough to be mentioned. the list of characters is easily quadrupled, with over a third of them dieing in some way or another. But yea, kewan isn't dead.

also, as I've said before Marn wasn't one of mine. Listen kiwi, i feel bad you got screwed, but it certainly wasn't my doing. that's what traitors get. IC I'm happy to see aphren die but ooc, he seems to be yet another innocent victim of the paranoid and racist Rebel war machine. Haroun has been playing it subtle, but i can see under the mask. He'd murder bomilkar, hanno and roxanna in a heartbeat, and he'd do it with a melon baller if it meant more power and a whole kingdom under his rule, and his rule alone. Though i can't blame him. The morality of a general or national leader is far different than that of a mere civilian. For the greater good right?

oh and lockandload,if captain foxx needs orders, he needn't come to me. My two commanders, Aquila and cinncinatus are under arrest. I only now control the imperial Navy, and whatever centurion/soldier i feel like in the legions. I can no longer issue orders.

As for Wikrun, vrage, I vote Wik...he doesn't say much but when he does something it's noticable. I think he'd stomp Vrage without breaking a sweat.

I'd like to see Marietta vs. Hanno

Well if your looking for something to do, come to Sentinel, we could break some sort of deal if you saw some sense, Haroun takes good care of the men who fight alongside him.

I'd like to see Marietta vs. Hanno

I'm enjoying the thought of Roxanna vs Quintus.

If your post wasn't ball busting then in all fairness I'd go with Marietta. Unless Hanno breaks that distance really quick. Jassan vs Hanno would be a much better match, as would have a Hector vs Hukral.

EDIT: Brilliant move on Quintus's part!

+1 Quintus

*Sleepily opens one eye.* My character got mentioned. I'm shocked. Especially since all that Marietta has done thus far was join the Battlemages, run off to Sunkeep where she basically just tossed a few fireballs and got herself a few trophies, and then ran like hell back to Vulnim Gate. Oh, and a rather convoluted little story with the BB thrown in. Forgot that. I haven't even really gotten to use her in battle yet.

Regardless the Roxanna and Quintius matchup interests me. Though personally I think our shiny Knight of the Garland would plant the spunky chick on her behind.

EDIT: After all, Quintius has proven that he can find some rather... unexpected solutions to problems. I imagine in a fight he would be strong, but not exactly honorable, may surprise Roxanna with some cheap, but effective move. Honor doesn't seem to be a strong point. :P

Well the emphasis Redguards put on practicality, with honor being a second seem to make them a backwards race. We've been using Guerilla tactics in warfare.

Ah man we need another character pit up, it svcks when great characters die, but something about two people's creations giving their all to take out another one makes it far more dramatic and interesting then usual pit ups.

Hukral versus Hector? That might be interesting. I'd like to see Hukral an Vrage though.

Wikrun does have some tricks up his sleeve. He's not a high class mage, sure, but you shrug him off as nothing and you'll regret it. His specialty ain't destruction, but there are other ways to own a man.

Jassan vs Hanno.... Well, frankly, Jas vs ANYONE would make for an entertaining match.

And as Web announced, yes I am quite busy. My attention span is short, my free time limited, these next few days. But I will try.

THE MARINES WILL BE ENOUGH! CHAAAAARGE!

I'm wondering that myself... We give the guy power, he makes a few posts, and then vanishes immediately. Someone give me an axe, I'm busting our previous two commanders out.

Nothing'll be enough if Haroun gets there first. All others make way. :grad:

And if the marines get there first, they'll at least have to deal with my walls - without siege weapons or our brilliant friend Aquila.

Past the walls, they'll have to deal with a bunch of angry bastards who pushed out the Empire in general and see a bunch of marines as just another bump on the obstacle course.

If Haroun gets there first?

... Hehe... He won't. Where's he at, anyway? Should be just moving into the forest north-west of Dragon Grove, correct?

And without siege equipment? Did you forget that each of the Marines' ships carries 2 trebuchets, 4 ballistas each? With the Pinder squadron alone, 5 or 6 ships I believe, I can't remember which, that's 10 - 12 Trebuchets, and 20-24 ballista. No siege equipment? Please. :P

Well he's traveling straight down the valley on the road now.

Or did the Imperials finally win the city.

Imperials finally took the city, our forces are out in the desert, and there is a large imperial presence with some captive militia being the only ones left.

The commander there would readily need your help though, the Ra Gada are constantly trying to take it back over.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but those trebuchets are actually fixtures of the ships themselves, aren't they?

As for the ballistae, breaking through stone walls with a giant arrow doesn't really work, does it?

Dragon Grove is a coastal town - but its miles from the shore. As I've made clear in my posts describing it - since ages ago, and referring to the map - there is a coastal plain, well, coastal scrubland leading up to Dragon Grove from the western side, to the east are obviously mountains and forests, to the north is THE forest, and to the south are the farmlands.

Haroun will get there first. :P

Who said I need to target the city?

Regardless, yes the trebuchets are attached to the ship, but I for some reason thought Dragon Grove was a PORT city, not a COAST city, which kind of messed with my head. Regardless, my strategy doesn't really change at all. Oh, and Haroun won't get there first. The landing party is already there, and they have a much shorter distance to travel. We'll see how long ya can hold out. :P
