Name: Rashid Sinan
Race: Ra Gada (rumoured to have been born in Sentinel, just how true is that can't be said)
Age: 55
Birthsign: The Serpent
Physical Description: Despite his age, Rashid could still pose a threat in combat. Well-toned body which is beginning to fade from its former glory, a tight, comfortable grip of his yatagan's handle and precision when striking all signify that he was definitely a formidable warrior earlier, and is still no one to be scoffed at. His back hasn't hunched yet, and even though his hair is beginning to whiten, Rashid is still imposing and mysterious enough to act as the Old Man of the Mountains.
Although his face is furrowed by wrinkles now, it was likely handsome in Rashid's younger days. He keeps his hair short and cropped, however that's nearly always covered by the turban, as is the fact his hair is turning white. His eyebrows are thin and arched, nearly completely white due to age. His deep blue eyes have not went dim yet, and their glance is still as piercing when he was young, possibly even more so. His nose is quite large, slightly snub; below, his thin, small lips are nearly covered by a lush beard and a moustache, both of which are also nearly completely white.
History: Rashid's early life is shrouded in mystery due to the effects of the fiddah. The rumours he was born in Sentinel might not be completely unfounded, since the Fida'i frequently hunt for their members in Hammerfall or Skyrim. Nevertheless, Rashid was kidnapped and survived the first week; he was submitted to fiddah then, and trained in the ways of the Fida'i. He passed the final test without hesitation, and was accepted into the ranks of the Fida'i fully.
Rashid's devotion to the assassins was so great it didn't take for the Old Man of the Mountains to notice it; he quickly became a favourite, and then, it was only a matter of time until Rashid became the heir of the Old Man.
Rashid's reign as the Old Man of the Mountains has been marked by numerous assassinations, including the death of some minor local nobles who felt threatened by the Fida'i and attempted to form a force to besiege their mountain fortress.
Weapons: An exquisite yatagan, crafted out of Orcish steel, with an ivory handle suited perfectly to Rashid's hand and a slightly curved, very thin single-edged steel dagger.
Armor/Clothing: Over his grey silk shirt with the sleeves slightly puffed at the end and loose puffed grey silk pants, also trimmed with silver, Rashid wears a flowing black silk robe, trimmed with an intertwined line of silver and gold along the edges. It reaches to his elbows and somewhere near the middle lower leg, thus covering his brown tough leather boots partially, since they reach nearly to the knee. It is held around the waist by a wide grey silk band, heavily trimmed by gold and silver. Over his head, Rashid usually wears a black silk turban, with a silver button on the front that holds a small white feather.
Misc. Items: The button on Rashid's turban is actually a tiny storage for extremely strong, lethal and very painful poison from Hammerfall; the amount inside is enough to down two healthy Nords in the prime of their life.
Companions: Malik- Considered the most efficient Fida'i by Sinan, Malik is his favourite, reserved for the most important duties. The Ra Gada is only twenty-five years old, yet a highly efficient warrior with a scimitar and a most cunning assassin, having been trained by Sinan personally in the ways of the Fida'i.
Faction Sheet
Faction Name: Fida'i
Rank: Old Man of the Mountains
50 Fida'i ? Highly trained, fanatical assassins, completely obedient to Sinan, trained to spot, track down and dispatch of rogue vampires. They are kidnapped as young boys from their families, taken to the mountains where they live for a week with the assassin who kidnapped them. Traditionally, each Fida'i kidnaps six children; five are thrown off the highest mountain if they show weakness, and the strongest one is allowed to taste a special drug, fiddah, which is said to 'burn' every memory of their past lives. Then, they are taken to the Old Man of the Mountains, who becomes their new father. After years of training, the young men are given the final challenge ? to slay the one who kidnapped them to show their loyalty to the Old Man of the Mountains. Those who hesitate are killed by the kidnapper, who must then find a new boy to replace him.
Those that survive the final test are allowed into the home of the Fida'i, a fortress high up in the western Wrothgarian Mountains; there, they are taught to be the perfect killers, unnoticeable infiltrators, capable of wiggling their way out of nearly any situation. Their original purpose was to hunt down rogue vampires that threatened the security and exposure of the recently-allied vampire clans only; however, they've earned an aura of fear and respect for the several assassinations of authorities that were considered a threat for the well-being of the vampire clans.
