The ImmortalBlood Timeline

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 8:47 am

Sorry guys, moved house and only just got internet up. :) Will try and catch up, but am pretty drained. Or has Elysana been passed on?

No actually it's all been slowing down a bit so it should be easy to catch on. That's what's great about these RPs. They get "slow" at times but just at the right times more often than not and when the posts start coming in they are full paragaphs, discriptive and enjoyable to read.

I hope to make a post for the Fida'i and Rashid today, however I'm terribly lazy to write about yet another character of mine sitting in a castle thinking about the changing times bla bla.

I've put in a favor with Akatosh (since I made him a dragon rp he owes me a few anyways) and he's got Sam and Elysana in a bit of a time pocket all their own, to complete their little shin-dig on their own time and then promptly catch up with the rest of the timeline afterwards. So we are still at night, behind the rest, but can catch up when we finish. :)

As for the BB, I am trying to iron out just what I plan for that, Anticlaire, so hang in there. Uninspired these days while looking for a job.

I didn't want to take control of it, but I did want to make some sort of field commander. Nothing big, just commanding a flank or wing or something.

Or perhaps a new High Priest/Shaman for Gandalug since you turned the other one into a pulp. ;)

Thats fine by me. You can have any position you want. High Priest, field commander, rank-n-file troop, its all good by me. I already have posted Orsinium having 12,400 troops, but if you want to make a field commander, I'm sure Immortal won't care if you add a couple of thousand or so to control.

Is your Psjjj (sp?) character close enough to Orsinium to be spotted by one of the patrols or anything?

I wouldn't be looking for too many Orcs. I plan on leaving with a small force of Rose Knights and some Longbowmen, Mages Guild specialists. Hardly a military force. But by the time i'd get to the east i'll have hired mercenaries and city soldiers from those other cities.

Uhh, sorry guys. A combination of Internet connection problems and end-of-the-school-year blues (I was an idiot and signed up for 5 bloody AP tests) has kept me offline for the last coupla of weeks. I'll get caught up in reading and then posting.

Again, terribly sorry, especially to Anticlere and Blademaster.

EDIT: OK, so now I've posted. Not well, I'm afraid, but hey - a bad post is better than none at all, right?

Guys I'm typing up a post for raven but dont want to be wrong about anything. Since Anticlere and Dwynnen are so close, what is there relationship? Trade? Hostility? Rivalry?

Anticlere doesn't have any relationships with any of the neighbours past some miniscule land trade, into which it was bullied by the EETC prior to the decrease of Imperial authority. There isn't really anything to be rivals about, since Anticlere's looking solely to the sea and, from what I understand, that's not a place Dwynnen cares about. You may want to look at Verlox's http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=978374 or wait for him to clear things up completely.

I just thought about this....even though High Rock is almost independent. It is still part of the Empire. Wouldn't the Empire at least try to keep the Altmer, and almost independent Skyrim off of their lawn?

If anything, Anticlere and Dwynnen would be what I call "Unknown Allies" in that we really don't associate with each other but wish each other no ill-will. But with the way that Dwynnen is, Trade with anyone is miniscule at best, non-existant otherwise.

The Empire is slowly being forced into a Byzantine-esque state - they're losing their biggest money bags. While Valenwood or Elsweyr may have not made immense amounts of money, Hammerfall was pretty big with trade that could be taxed, no idea about the Summurset Isles; the fact that the Aldmeri and the Ra Gada have broken off means a very unsafe western coast (actually a nearly nonexistent western coast now that I think of it), and the loss of Iliac's trade, leaving them with no direct contact with High Rock and weakening contact with Skyrim and most likely Morrowind. Their income has most likely taken a large hit, which will only get larger over time as other provinces fully secede considering Cyrodiil, although the biggest province, is nearly totally landlocked, with a huge border to defend, and mainly only agriculture (and not Egypt level of agriculture, more like western European judging from OB) to provide income AFAIK. The situation is further made worse by the fact that one of the cities in Cyrodiil went boom gone during the OB Crisis, and rebuilding has costs, IF they decide to rebuild.

Ive determined that all of my posts so far have taken place a few days in the past, and my next post will be in the form of a series of journal entries by Gaius as he witnesses Brutus' slow transformation into a vampire.

If that's okay with y'all...

Sorry that I have been inactive lately, I rarely have more then 15 minutes to the computer, my brother needs it since finals are this week, and my dad uses it for work. I'm not sure if I missed anything or will be able to write posts a lot this week, but after Friday things should be open.

Eh, things aren't moving anyway right now. Although the Nords will soon be in ure backyard taking ure settlements, and Tudor will meet them and there'll be a kickass battle that'll totally make everyone jelous and they'll crawl out of their castles.

Also, Crazy, sorry for taking so long with the ships thing. Your Ansei can finally show up now.

Crazyjoker... do I see a challenge to my necromancer?

Well good luck finding her, she's well hidden and hardly doing anything right now anyways. You aren't likely to find her very easy.

I'll try to manage a post over the course of this week. Anticlere, I sent you a message concerning the BB.
