The ImmortalBlood Timeline

Phantasm you should stick with the Psijic order all throughout the timeline and just be the official Psijic guy.

I concur. Your divination post was thoroughly enjoyable.

By the way...we don't have an unified time at the moment, do we? Because, in my posts alone, I now have three different timelines running.

*Ahem*....guy?

I'd love to stick around, though I can't post all day like everybody else can. Have to do homework and stuff.

Or girl. Not sure you want that sort of publicity. But that's fine, Psijic expert.

Do your best not the cross wires. By the way today I won't be posting at all and if I do it's probably a jail break.

Is it approved, I didn't add any units in my first character

You think a 50 pound sword, or two 30 pound axes are improbable eh?

back in the early years of A.D., during the Eastern han dynasty in China, the general Cao Cao (pronounced shu shu) had a bodyguard,

and his main weapons were two 64 pound Halberds, and yes, he used both of them at the same time.

I know my history, here is his wiki page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dian_Wei

EDIT:
40 jin= 64 pounds, I think.

and, I checked out an ancient warfare book from the library. Had to edit that post, and I couldn't feel it today....I don't like editing day old post...

but....

I dunno. I'm pretty sure those measurements came from Romance of the Three Kingdoms, which is a dramatization of history. I wouldn't trust much of the details of that as fact. Additionally, Dian Wei was massive, one of the strongest men of his time, even according to official records. He really was, literally, one in a million. I do doubt he actually used those weapons though. One maybe, but not two.

Women are a myth, they don't really exist.

I'm swamped with work right now, so it will probably be Friday before I can post.

Actually it's pronounced T'sao T'sao not shu shu. And my issue isn't with your massive weapons which I don't really care about. I don't think fantasy style stuff is out of place here in TES. But the military force you got with your first character is all you are getting until you show more experience in the RP. You have to be writing for a bit while longer and show some ability before you take on big roles.

I got it immortal, ah, I will be on this weekend a lot, but Ifinished the book.

My next history book, that I will read, will be a 2000+ year old book written by sun tzu, it may sound a bit familiar......................................The Art of War

I have also studied some history about the greeks and romans warships, as well as a lot of the strategies, and political things they did, and ancient Han dynasty China, of course. I really love reading history books.

Do you know that they had flamethrowers in 424 B.C. ????

Immortal, you are probably already going to do this, but before battles we need to state the weather conditions and environment, because generals can use the environment to there advantage. There are also many weapons we have not mentioned at all. such as the crossbow, the chariot, the catapult, the Onager, and many others, including flamethrowers.
I wish there were elephants in the ES. War-elephants are nasty.

The Flame thrower thing sounds ridiculous, but I am dead serious; and I cannot wait to get into the Naval aspect of things once we become more settled.

And, I remember someone metioning something about making a forum to keep up with our lore, I have some options.

1) I can get my buddy to set one up, and that will be good.

2) Use a temporary UESP page, and disguise it as a talk page, or if they just don't care do it. We could make an account called ImmortalBlood and use the talk page.

3) Store it on some kind of Notepad or Wordpad like software, except everyone may not be able to see it

Straight Told.

the crossbow has NOT been left out, chariots, catapults, and onagers are obsolete, and flamethrowers have been pretty much replaced by the much more versatile Mage.

And seriously, we get it, you like warfare history. There's no need to tell us what you read and when. Just suggest stuff if you intend to. And at least read the sheets before that, the crossbow's in a lot of forces. Along with the arbalest if you intend to suggest that.

Currently my character has little to do without a Dominion. I'm not active enough to BE the Dominion. Sorry guys.

I WILL HOWEVER HAPPILY ROLEPLAY THE DEFENSES OF ANY UNTAKEN HOLDINGS during this time until the Dominion picks up really.

Would that work?

Probably not since it makes it confusing. Verlox is taking up the Dominion.

I may be able to get a friend of mine who is a pretty experienced roleplayer to join in. I will talk to him this weekend, he has an account here, he has been roleplaying on uesp for some time.

I will be on later tonight.

I will post again once I rid myself of my writers block and get some spare time. Maybe this weekend, maybe not.

@ Wooly Mammoth, try to be more perceptive. We have already mentioned nearly everything you listed, and we had war elephants in the timelines.

Yes sir, I just don't have a lot of time sometimes, and instead of paying attention when I don't have time, I post anyway, which I shouldn't.
And I was unsure of the crossbow. And you guys have used elephants? But some people have pointed out to me what I have done wrong recently, and I will be fixing that.
But, I did read every freakin roleplay guide, which helped, it helped a lot.

rather dry reading in all honesty...usefull, but dry.

I dunno how much time i can devote to guillaume and ozias. certainly the last thing i want is a command position at this point. I was however possibly interested in taking a small command (NCO, centurion, conroi commander) in a bretic army. just something to tide me over until I can devote real time to my leper or my serial killing rapist.

I just now noticed this, but, the reinforcements give me and anticlere about 25000, and torikton has 12,500.

My character will more than likely die, then I will most likely make an adventurer. I am going to chill now, until Anticlere moves out.

Just to say, I've just found out I'm moving house on Thursday. Packing has only just begun, and I don't have reams of time. Sorry I won't have much time to make a post, so I may not be posting as much until we're set up in the new house. I will keep posting though, even if just to keep things moving.
