in the imperial legion....

hello,

I don't have skyrim but I have a question about the imperial legion. Can you reach the highest rank and be the head of the faction?

If yes, what happens if you are the faction leader, and commit a crime? are you treated differently from when you were a common person?

IN Oblivion-Shivering Isles for example, when you are sheogorath, the golden saints treat you better when you commit a crime than previousley.

You can join the legion, become a leggett and kill all the people you want. No one will treat you different.

Also, Like mike said, you don't become the leader.

The highest rank you can reach is Legate, putting you at the same rank as Legate Rikke, Tullius' right-hand-woman. You can't go any higher.

To the best of my knowledge, your Legion rank doesn't impact the way you're treated once you've committed a crime. You can talk your way out of a crime if you're the Thane of a hold, but your military rank - Stormcloak or Imperial - makes no difference.
