Welcome Marshie666. Have a http://images.uesp.net//c/c4/Fishystick.jpg! So long as you write legibly(no leet speak, spelling errors are okay so long as we can tell what it is) and follow the rules, you'll be good to go.

And the universal rule of writing in third person :) Makes it a lot easier for everyone to read what you write then.

So its not normal for me to address myself in third person in my thoughts? Or out loud?

I guess thats why everyone looks at me funny...

Well, if everyone is here... ;p

How should we kill everyone off? I would like one to die in my hands; It adds flair for the dramatic....

Arrius could die in your arms as you try to cure the poison in his wounds.

By the fact that you said Arrius you mean how to kill off the characters not returning form the Original one?

Yup. Since we fought a battle, we might as well take casualties. And who doesn't like killing of characters in a story?

I have done small changes to her background and given her a few new items (I also added american measurements on height and weight for those who want that). Maybe I was a little too cryptic about her reason to leave Skingrad but I don't want to reveal too much in the CS :)

Name: Nora
Gender: Female
Age: 24
Race: Nord
Birth sign: The Warrior
Class: Barbarian
Skills:
- Blade (she can wield a long sword both in one hand and two-handed as a claymore)
- Hand to hand (mostly brawl-style with a little martial arts)
- Block (if she can get her hands on a shield she might pick it up to use it)
- Light armor (she would prefer heavy armor but she cannot afford it)
- Athletics (she can fight all night if she really wants to)

General Appearance: Nora is 165 centimeters tall (5'5") and weighs approximately 65 kilos (143 lbs). She is very muscular and she has broad shoulders. She is not very elegant when she walks, and from behind she could sometimes be mistaken for a man. From the front however, her gender is quite clear. (Aka, she has big boobs.) Her face is very distinctive. She has a defined jaw and cheekbones, and her nose is strong yet slim. Her lashes and eyebrows are dark.
Eye Colour: Intense blue, like an icy lake on a sunny day.
Hair Colour: light blonde. Her hair goes all the way down to her waist, and she usually keeps it in a ponytail or braid with a leather strap.

Gear(backpacks, etc.): she has a simple backpack made from cheap leather containing some beer, cooking equipment, a few septims, a clean shirt and clean underwear, some food, a blanket and a bedroll on top. She also has a small book of songs from the empire that she reads a little when she feels like it because she wants to improve her reading skills.
After the battle: Three small potions (no labels so she has no idea what they are), a bottle of Valenwood-imported absinthe, some more money, cheap rings and necklaces and a steel dagger in a sheath.

Weaponry: a steel long sword on her hip and a tired iron dagger in her right boot. + Steel dagger.

Armour&Clothing: off-white shirt, leather pants (not armor) and thick leather boots. When she is out traveling she wears an old pair of leather gauntlets and a thick gray woolen cloak lined with wolf fur. If she could afford it, she would have upgraded her armour and other equipment because it is old and well used.

Personality: Nora is a little too fond of alcohol. When she is sober she is most likely nursing an alcohol-induced headache. She is not very friendly, and prefers to be in places with no people around. When she is drunk, she is no better. If she decides to get violent, she gets violent. She spends every free evening at the local bar or tavern, and if the opportunity to start a bar fight is there she will jump at it. Even though she is drunk, she is able to control herself as she has not killed anyone in a bar fight. She has some martial arts skills, but she relies more on the brawl-style she has worked to perfection.
Nora hates clingy men, fancy-pants and smart asses. She has a foul mouth, and she isn’t afraid to speak her mind. She often spent her night in the dungeons after her brawls. She has a strong dislike of mages because the mages she grew up around were acting posh and put people below them.

History/Background: Born and bred in Skingrad. She lived just outside the city walls with her parents that worked at one of the graqe fields. Nora did never get any proper education, and is therefore a very slow reader and writer. Her parents died of disease when she was five and she was taken in by her parents’ friends. She inherited her father’s steel long sword that he had kept hidden away from the other people they had lived with. As soon as Nora was strong enough to lift the blade she started practicing with it. It wasn’t before she was 14 that she found someone to spar with. She worked hard in order to grow strong and capable of taking care of herself.

She earned money by working for the mages guild as a harvester of plants outside the city. She fetched herbs and leaves for the fat and lazy mages that she loathed for a few coins and a bed in the basemant. It wasn’t what she dreamed of but it would have to do. She would do anything to no longer have to depend on her foster parents.

When she heard of the Empire recruiting fighters in the Imperial Order, she bar-hopped her way there. She saw this as her big opportunity to start over in life, now that she finally had a chance and a reason to leave Skingrad.

Name: Ageais Kastus Marc (Pronunciation ((Uh-jee-iss))
Gender: Male
Race: Imperial

Birthsign: The Warrior
Class: Paladin, a warrior who served as a hunter of Dagon cultists, vampires, and all manner of darkness
Skills:

Athletics- From year of rigorous exercises, not only in the Legion, but also from his mid-teens.

Heavy Armor- When he was made a paladin in the Legion, Agaeis chose to wear plate armor. He also learned to become very skilled in its use, such as knowing how to counter the weight of the armor and not stumble. Some of the other legionaries said he could best a naked Bosmer wear his full suit of armor.

Blade- Since he was a boy, he trained with smaller swords, proffering them over larger swords because of their mobility. His Father, Decimus, gave him his own sword on his death-bed.

Restoration- To be a Paladin, he had to learn the arcane arts of healing. But only enough to help and protect himself, and possibly others, when in need.

Destruction- In his early years as a Paladin Agaeis realized, and experienced, that he would face mages and sorcerers. So he learned a few spells to help him in battle, meager but useful.

Shields- Agaeis learned to use the shield, the same as his armor. A weapon, an extension of his body to protect and attack.

Pole-arms- On one particular mission, Agaeis faced a ruthless man who believed himself to be the reincarnation of an ancient vampire. This man used the same halberd that Agaeis carries today

General Appearance: Agaeis is a tall man, standing at 6' 5" in height with a muscular build to match. He has two tattoos, one of the Legion on his left bicep and one of the Empire covering his chest. Both are rarely seen as he is almost always fully armored.

Eye Colour: Blue-Green
Hair Colour: Thick and brown, just barely past his shoulders.

Gear(backpacks, etc.): Bread, dried meat, a flask of strong mead, and an Idol of Stenndar
Weaponry: Agaeis carries a 5 ft http://www.a2armory.com/images/spanishhalberd2.jpg that he won in battle against a malicious foe, and then purged of its evil and blessed by priests of Arkay. He also carries a http://www.a2armory.com/images/alexgreat.jpg, named Morte Rex, which was passed down to his by his father. The name in the old language means 'King of Death'. Agaeis' father slew over three-score enemies with the blade.

Armour&Clothing: His http://www.a2armory.com/images/helmets/gldknihelm.jpg, http://www.a2armory.com/images/armor/DblCrestArmor.jpg, http://www.a2armory.com/images/armor/SteelGauntEmb.jpg. He then wears thick leather boots with Iron greaves, and under his armor he wears a chain-mail hauberk with brown padding sewn into it. He then carries the http://www.a2armory.com/images/med-shields/charlemagne-polished.jpg given to his by his Captain when he served in the Legion

Personality(string of adjectives do not make a personality): Agaeis is not much of a talker, but when he speaks it is with meaning. One of his favorite sayings would be, "Walk silently, and carry a big stick." Meaning, speak little, but when you do make it worth something. He hates evil, and is a fighter against tyranny. This would be the reason for going against the Imperial Order, for Agaeis, it is a atrocity.

History/Background: Agaeis was actually born in Morrowind, in the capital city of Mournhold. There, his father was one of the Captains of the Royal Legion. Since the age of 10 he wanted to be a soldier, so he spent much of his time sparring with the other soldiers, who looked at him as somewhat of a little brother. When he was sixteen, he was made a Private. His job was simple, patrol the city with several others of his rank. It was only until one day, when he'd heard a rumor about cloaked men in the sewers that his skills were to be tested.

After the fight with the cultists; Dunmer, remnants of the Sixth House who still worshiped their fallen King, Dagoth Ur. Agaeis is one of two survivors. Years pass and he rises through the ranks, eventually saying goodbye to his dieing father. Receiving the family sword, Eipida, meaning 'Hope'.

He became a Paladin during his eighth year of service, and joins an order known as the Knights of the Light of Stendarr. Being sent out on missions mainly sanctioned by the various chapels, parishes, and even some landlords. During the events of the Oblivion Crisis, he hunted down several groups of Mythic Dawn Agents and even helped in the closing of a gate at Fort Summer.

Years pass as Chancellor Ocato is crowned Emperor, and the formation of the "Imperial Order". Agaeis watched as the chaos was rife within the Empire, and his heart sank when he learned of Vvardenfell's fate.

It was when the call came out for soldiers to aid the Empire against the now traitorous Imperial Order, that Agaeis was to answer. Leyawiin was his destination, riding on his Clydesdale 'Odrunn' he made haste for the small city.

Faction: Knights of the Light of Stendarr, current Grand Marshall

Holy Hand Grenade!

((Is it okay if Agaeis arrives with a small company of say... 20 other men? It is an army we're building after all.

By faction, I mean what their real faction is. For example, Riden Cerinn is the Champion of Nocturnal and her assassin. Remember, most of the soldiers are mercenaries who aren't Imperial Legion. They have little loyalty to the Empire(not saying you can't be loyal to the Empire).

But I have my problems about progressing from where we ended, considering only 3/9 people are continuing their characters.

The characters that are not returning will either be left out of the history completely or killed off. As an example, Arrius dies from the poison in his wounds. Since Thomas Li only got his introduction post I guess there is no reason to kill him. It is easier to count him out.

Well if we continue from where we left off some long time ago, I don't mind Arrius dying in the arms of someone :P. But Dark's got a point, it might be more better if we started over, we have a mostly new cast after all. But if you'd rather get to the action quicker you could potentially start where we left off. New comers might be a little confused though without a introduction to the events that happened before (Unless the read the old thread, of course)
