The Imperials.

I have played both Imperial and Stormcloak quest lines and the cause of the Imperial's isnt as true as the stormclaks. When i was a Imperial i had a feeling that I was part of the strongest military body in all of Tamriel and I was fighting the same fight Tiber Septim (Talos) was, but still the feeling didnt add up to the feeling of being a stormcloak fighting alongside your fellow brothers with the same cause. Please comment.

You don't get enough pats on the back on the Imperial side.

Do you need to be patted on the back to feel like you accomplished something? The Storm-Cloaks act the way they do because they are all "brothers & sisters" you feel like your part of a family when you are in the Storm-Cloaks. The Imperial Legion is a military body, your not there to feel good about yourself or get pretty cupcakes for lunch. You go out do your job come home an count your dead, then the next day you do the same.

Would have been cool to do some radiant civil war battles.

Like something about the Storm Cloaks taking a fort and we need you to go back and retake it.

That would have been fun. But there are enough radiant quests going on with the factions.

I felt a lot better about myself siding with Tullius than siding with Ulfric. All that 'friendliness' on the SC side made me feel like I was being manipulated.

Well the game tries very hard to tip you towards the Stormcloak side from the start: Captured by Imperials for nothing, Hadvar is an instant Racist, Imperial try to execute you for nothing...I mean they REALLY wanted you to hate the Empire from the beginning but luckily once you've dug into the game and formed a real opinion you can see the Stormcloak's hypocrisy. These days i find it hard to fight for Ulfric even if the particular character is intended to do so. Also when i play a Nord i get kind of offended by Ulfric claiming status as a "true Nord" when he and 90% of Skyrim have forsaken the Nordic Pantheon in exchange for the Imperial Nine (or Eight) Divines as made evident by the city temples.

I guess the Storm Cloaks missed the point that there was an option of 8 other Divines to worship. I think they were just looking for an excuse to have a go at the Empire and the Thalmor.

Not to mention the Imperials were having a hard time converting the Nords from worshiping Ysmir to worshiping Talos back in Oblivion. ;)

Ulfric says something about coming home and see Skim full of strangers. He is a racist, power hungry man. I side mostly with the empire because they are trying to keep Tamriel united against the Thalmor threat. Look, the Aldmeri Dominion could easily take over the empire. If Skyrim gets.separated what do you think would happen?

Except that the Militia in this case is going to cause the entire continent to be more easily conquered by a greater threat
