Yeah, now that you've answered the questions, here's a http://www.mobilecrunch.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/pink_sprinkled_donut.jpg with pink, sprinkled glaze. And don't forget to reply on why you are this or that particular race.

Playing it - I'm just looking forward to my first view and I'll make sure I have screenshots enabled.

I'm tossing up between Nord and Khajiit. It changes everyday. It's Nord today because I watched How to Train Your Dragon

Ugly

Axes and Hammers!!1! Btw, I'd add more options to this question, e.g. Weapon and Magic, staff etc.

Skyrim has extremely High Expectations with me :D

Thanks for the Donut, too. *gargle*

I like the idea of playing my first game as the native race, also finishing the main quests on that character. So I'm picking Nord. I might change my mind though, since I have also planned a few other characters. You should have included a battlemage option or something similar to your combat question though. I'm going to try a paladin approach to my character. :)

I am a Breton because i have always been a battlemage type, in Oblivion, mage was very unbalanced, boring, and underpowered and only mods changed that. I am a dual battlemage, although i will complete the game as every race, the Breton will always be my main account but i am likewise to change if i want.

I am the neutral type pretty much but not the way you mentioned in the poll, i just do stuff that is necessary and i don't care much about gaining rewards/coins. I am the exploring type and love looking at the ingame scenery, landscapes, mountains, etc.

I do have very high expectations on Skyrim and i don't think Bethesda is going to let me down :).

Thanks for the uplifting, honest, loyal, righteous, unpretentious, unreluctant, valiant, constructional critisism and tip.

I sure like those adjectives.

First of all, thanks for that delicious donut!

Well, I′m looking forward to lots of things in this game, but playing it pretty much sums it all up. I′ll most likely be playing as an orc, beacuse well, the pariah folk have really started to grow on me since I started researching some of their lore, and the fact that they look awsome is just a big +! Haven′t really decided on my allegiances yet but it′ll probably be what seems fun and interesting which, tbh, mostly is bad! :mohawk:

I'll play Nord because, well, I think they're cool, and they fit the Magic/Combat-leaning-more-against-Combat type. He'll be quite neutral, but will have some morals. I believe Skyrim will be one of the best games ever, not the best.

Bosmer since their skills suit my favourite playstyle and I find the lore about them interesting.

Bosmer (Providing they don't look terrible).
I'll be focussed on acquiring large amounts of gold so ugly.
Swords and bow because I think it would fit my character, plus I'm going to be a huntsman character so exploration is going to be a big thing for me.

Dunmer, assuming they're as cool as they were in Morrowind. This was hinted by Vsions when I mentioned it. We'll be "in for a treat" concerning Dunmer, he said :)
So yeah, Dunmer. They rock :)

My playstyle will be a good Paladin, who uses 2-handed swords mainly, heavy armour, some destruction and restoration and alteration spells whenever I need it, and a bow whenever I need it. I'm looking forward most to explore and look at the hopefully amazing views. I like to just "take in the world".

I've had some disappointments with what I've heard so far concerning Skyrim. Some bigger ones, some smaller ones. There have also been some really good things that balance my expectations a bit. Generally, I have kind of high expectations, although I have very very high hopes.

What am I looking forward to most: all of the above minus breaking the disk lol
Race: Dunmer fo shizzle they're the most super awesome badass race and fit well with my magic+sword style play.
All my characters are usually the neutral sort doing what they will without moral obligations...why does that make me ugly :P
Expectations: High. I expect I'll be playing this game for a long time.

  • Simple, playing it.
  • Redguard (was actually planning to roll a Breton, but eh, the character I had in mind would be more suited as a Redguard the more I think about it somehow.)
  • I'll be helping those who pay the most and be egocentric. (Actually, he's suppose to be all three at certain times. Terrible mood swings much.)
  • I've chosen the last answer, but to be more precise, it is:
use chameleon spells anytime possible while assessing the dungeon's potentially hostile inhabitants and traps, cast frenzy/command spells to bring 'dem ruckus, exploiting all traps and environmental hazard to my advantage (e.g. shoot down the lanterns down from the ceiling to ignite the puddle of oil below, which is said to be possible in one of the latest magazine article,) then shoot down the survivors with my arrows from a safe distance. And if that fails to one-shot them, apply some poison to my rusty axe (with bleeding damage perk, obviously!) then engage the stubborn fellow with the good 'ol hit-and-run tactic (so stamina is important here to prolong my sprint duration,) then proceed to hiding my cowardly bum off in a safe place while the poor bugger dying a slow, painful death :P

  • Positive expectations.

I just want to play the game more or less. Explore.. level up my character. Do side quests. Do it all!

I usually play a Breton to start, as they're my favorite race, but I'd kinda like to play a Dunmer, just for an interesting contrast with skyrim's natives. Probably be a spell-sword. Use swords mostly in the beginning, while slowly building up to be a powerful mage.

My expectations? I don't think it will be my favorite TES game ever. I really don't think any game will ever beat out Morrowind for my #1 spot. Though I know that's halfway just nostalgia. Regardless.. I'm thinking it has a strong chance of hitting my #2 spots. So, my expectations are nearly as high as they could get.

1.I'm Playin' It I'll play it ALL.
2.Depending on how they look... Well a bosmer will be smaller than the other pepole (Especially Nords) so Nord, Imperial or Bosmer. Probably Nord.
3. A Mix Of Each but Mostly Stealth... (I will use chameleon and assassinate pepole with a dagger but if they detect me pull out a sword. I did somewhat the ame in Oblivion)
4. The Ugly. I only work where I get stuff.
5. High Expectations.

I look forward to the game itself, so I guess the playing it option.
I'm gonna go with a Nord as my first char and will play like a paladin with 2-handed hammers and healing and shielding magc(if you recognise my current avatar you know what I am basing my char on ;) )
I have very high expectations to the game, both the gameplay and how it will expand lore.

My sweet, kind Breton Mage who can also be tough-as-diamonds will be helping and healing everyone she can and will defend herself and others using bow and an enchanted sword along with her powerful magical skills. I'm looking forward to exploring the world and have high expectations that I'll be doing it all winter and beyond. :)

If they still have the magika bonus for bretons then I think I'll play them for the first time around.
I think Skyrim will be one of the few games that I play through more than once because of the perk system; previously in OB I only needed one character because I was able to master everything. One minute I could be lurking in the shadows with chamelion and a bow, the next I could be trumphing centaurs etc with a claymore.
I have extremely high expectations for skyrim but I cna't justify saying it'll be the best TES game EVARRR because I've only played through OB.

Argonian, stealth, the ugly, high expectations. I'll do everything that can be done, but exploring the world and the level of interaction is my most anticipated activity.

1) Explore landscape, talk to NPCs and read books.
2) Darkelf if their voices are back. If not, Imperial. I don't really concentrate that much what race I am, and you can never go wrong with Imperial.
3) I will follow my gut feeling. That will be for the most part pure good choices as I don't expect Beth to give us morally complicated choices.
4) Will most likely be battlemage. Maybe a pure warrior with enchantment and a ton of wands?
5) I have a feeling that it might be better than Oblivion. All I know is that I will be wasting a ton of hours on it.
