The Insane Asylum?

Post » Tue Jan 12, 2016 2:57 pm

So, I'm playing a fairly good character. Only shoot those that shoot first, or only snipe those that I know are raiders, super mutants, etc. Help people asking for help. Etc.

So I came across the Insane Asylum and there's all these guards around. Well their not attacking me and they tell me that it's private property and leave. Well ... so I leave. I mean I've been given no indication that anything wrong is happening there and I can't fault someone for guarding their stuff ... so I go.

Is that it? So I have no way to get in and clear the place? I read that the quest needed to enter the building will not start unless you kill all the guards ... but again I have no reason to kill them.

So does a reason ever come to just kill the guards? Do I ever hear some rumor that something bad is happening there? Or am I forever locked out of this place for role-playing someone that just doesn't kill guards who are just doing their job?

Thanks.
