On the quest when you first enter the insitute when I met all leaders it said that I did eveything. But...I could not go to the next quest to where I leave the insitute. Can you help me figure this out or is it a game glitch?

Did your pipboy get the modification that allows you to fast travel there and back yet?

Is the Institute on your map?

One of the people you meet should do it for you.

If you have met them under the right circumstances you would remember the dialogue.

Have you explored and talked to as many npc's as possible?

As an aside, this topic reminded me of that old song about poor ol' Charlie on the MTA...

Of course, in the OP's case, "...She'll/he'll be stuck forever 'neath the streets of Boston..."

there was a girl i talked to that said, "this will get you in and out of the institute." but I am stuck...it seems like game glitch

what's it say if you try fast traveling to somewhere on the map? Have you tried to fast travel?

speak to 'father'

when I try to fast travel it tells me I can't fast travel from this location...and everytime I try to talk to father there are no questions that come up.

try this..

make every quest on your pipboy active (small square next to it)...see if anyone in the institute has a quest marker above them...

IIRC, you can't fast travel from anywhere within the Institute, just the main Institute area where you first came in. So, maybe you're in the wrong wing?
