"can you breath fire" Well it was obvious since dragons uses fire and so will dovahkiin.

Actually, the fact that fire breathing is a dragon shout is NEW. Before that who would have guessed that breathing fire was part of their magic? For me it was logical that dragons simply breathe fire.

It was also said in a preview that some dragons can also shoot blasts of ice, and not just fire.

No, it was said by Todd before that the dragons are actually speaking, which causes the fire. It was one of the things he got all excited about, stuff like "If you listen closely you can hear them!" It wasn't a stretch to imagine the Dovahkiin gets the same power, since our power stems from the ability to understand and speak the dragon's language.

No, it's been said for a long time that the dragon shouts arte their language, and when thye breathe fire, they are actually using it.

I think they did actually, though I can't be sure. It sounds like a fraction of a second before the fire blast, all you can hear is the music.

You know, this entire night has been very predictable. I mean, the results of this were guessed hours ago. There would be no new info because it's a 1 AM broadcast of a show nobody watches about a game that is only taking up like, 5 minutes of space, and they expect them to show new info that a select few people might see. Then, there would, of course, be thread upon thread of hate messages because people decided to get the wrong idea and assume that "Skyrim info" automatically equals breakthrough news.

I just don't understand why people are upset but it's upsetting. They did all the interviews at the same time in Utah....it was a press event. It isn't Bethesda's fault if the media entity chose to show it later or if someone talks about it later than everyone else. There may still be articles coming out in the next few weeks. It wouldn't be fair to bash them if they don't have something new. The part about us breathing fire *was* new.

Oh well, I don't want to know everything so far out anyway. We have a long ways to go before the game is in our hot little hands.
