The Invisible Faction-Part 2!

Dakayev was rushing over the tower, climbing the steps of stairs until he came up to one last floor. He decided to sweep it and found two non-ghouls and one ghoul inside.

" Thats about as far as your going smoothskin, this tower is mine and you're not going to..... holy crap, is that a rifle?"

Dakayev simply moved towards Roy Phillips, pulled out his knife, and ripped his insides out, laughing while doing so. He then turned his head at the two humans on the floor, tied up.

" Identify yourselves, now"

Both replied

" Irving Cheng"
" Herbert Daring Dashwood"

Dakayev laughed

" A fellow comrade and a Adventurist. I know what I should do with you both....."

Dakayev untied them and then stood up

" Hey George, you won't believe who I found...... Herbert Daring Dashwood! Ha, this is hilarious, get the men here once they're done, I need to show them this. Irving, Herbert, get down the elevator, I have troops waiting for you there. Talk to them for your new suites. This tower is under my control, leave and you die. "

Irving stood up and smiled

" Thank goodness, a comrade of my likes. Thank you so much for freeing us from those filthy things."

Dakayev simply nodded and watched them both step into the elevator and proceed downwards .

OOC: Treat them like guests Silly Cat. You might just get to have a chat with a popular wasteland celebrity.

I opened my eyes again, but I didn't look at him, "Andy, you don't realise it yet do you?" I looked at him, "The Faction is bigger than you'd think, and more secretive than anything as well, Ash and Nate don't know anything important about the Faction... Look, Andy, they always said you were a good man, a man who helped people, it looks like I'm seeing the part of you that is really you, a bastard that won't even help a guy who's friends have been through more than you'd think!"

I scowled at him, but I let it fade off my face, "If you really want to know everything, you have to talk to me, look... These people trust me, it was either this or follow a traitor to our organisation, what else were we to do? Give us a chance Andy, we all want to live, but before I tell you anything I at least need to know if they're okay, until you at least tell me that, you aren't getting anything from me." I closed my eyes again and I rested my head on the hard metal bed.

Andrew woke up from his nap and said to the others, "I'm gonna go check on the prisoners, I feel kind of bad since they were cooperative." He then left for the prision cells, passing by two fellow Knights who were guarding the entrance. Once he found their cells, he found a chair and sat down.

George was decapitating a ghoul in a nearby room when he heard Dakayev shout out to George.

"Hey George, you won't believe who I found...... Herbert Daring Dashwood! Ha, this is hilarious, get the men here once they're done, I need to show them this."

He went down, and found Dakayev, with two other non-ghouls. Dakayev gave a smile as the other two men seemed to be relieved being rescued.

"Aye, i'll help the men upstairs, and get them downstairs. Apparently there are a couple of ghouls trying to hold up on the balcony. Be right back."

George headed up to the highest floor, and noticed what was going on. Three ghouls were on the balcony of the tower, holding off by barricading the door. If any of the men approached the door, they fired back. One of the soldiers was shot, but turned out to be okay. He saw the door, and decided to open with a bang.

"Corporal, give me those plasma mines."

"But you and the captain said to prevent any damage to the buildi-"

"I don't care what I said. Give me those mines. We're blowing up this door."

After laying down the mines, George told the soldiers to leave the area, as he threw a frag grenade to set off the plasma mines. The explosion not only took the doors out, but the shock wave knocked the ghouls off the balcony, dying from the fall. Following the situation, he told the men to head downstairs, and went back to talk to Dakayev.

"Alright now, we finally have the tower under our control. I told the men to start hauling the bodies to the basemant to barricade the underground entrance. We should be fairly safe here, but I know with the Brotherhood trying to hunt us down, we may have to resort to some of my plans."

George saw the two men, Irving Cheng, and Herbert "Daring" Dashwood. He nodded and acknowledged the two men, as he was going to talk to them later. But first, he needed to talk to the Captain.

"Excuse me sir, but may I suggest we talk in a private room? I wanted to share some battle plans, that I think if we used them, would be able to cripple the Brotherhood."

"You're lucky your seeing me at all Ryan. You come in here after I saved your life and begin to make demands, after what you did, because of you good people are dead. My Brothers laid down their life all because you tried to kill me. I think you can understand why I'm acting like a 'bastard'." I let out a sigh. "You're friends are alive, that's all I'm telling you. I have given you your chance Ryan, your life rests in the hands of the Brotherhood. You've only brought this on yourself, do not blame anyone else."

I pulled up a chair beside the Hospital bed.

"You think I'm a bad man? Let me ask you, if our roles were reversed and my men were captured by yours, would we receive medical attention and the chance to live? I don't think so."

Dakayev looked at George

" Whats the plan, but before that, tell the privates to swap the floors clean, ghoul blood smells terrible"

" Alright, tell me of your plan"

Dakayev then told Herbert and Irving to inform the troops. They moved down the stairs and gave orders to men on each floor to swap the walls and make repairs to the entire building.

I looked at him in the eyes, "If we captured you, I would give you medical attention myself, I would help you, as long as you agreed to not shoot me in the back five minutes later. You still see me as a bad man when you still don't realise I saved your life, do you? The soldier that shot Sarah was aiming for you, but I still held respect for you... I made it look like he got shot in the arm by one of your men, when actually, I shot him in the arm so he missed the shot."

I sighed, "Although, you probably won't believe me... So I'll tell you this, when the time comes, you won't have a choice but to abandon the Citadel and find somewhere very deep beneath the ground, the goal of our Faction is to purify the world of all sentient life and leave two people left standing who will rebuild humanity. I hope that helps, now I ask you, are you going to help us or are you just going to chuck me in a cell, leave us there to rot and hope that people forget about us?"

I glared at him, "Cause if that's what you plan to do to us, let me get up right now, give me a pathetic laser pistol and I'll fight my way through this pathetic base, get my friends and walk out."

As Dakayev headed downstairs, George decided to talk to the two men. Soldiers were moving around the building, hauling bodies, moving them outside, and wiping the blood that was splattered everywhere in the tower. George took a sigh of relief, and spoke to the two men.

"So, you two were here before ghouls?"

Irving nodded, and spoke to George.

"Indeed comrade, back when Tenpenny Tower was actually under control by Tenpenny himself. He was a good man, but had a few problems, such as wanting to blow up Megaton, and shooting wastelanders for fun with his sniper rifle from his balcony."

George nodded, and looked at Dashwood.

"So, is it true it was the Lone Wanderer who got the ghouls in here? What happened after it?"

"Well yes, the Lone Wanderer was responsible for letting the ghouls in. At first, it just seemed it was going to be fine. A few days after he left, the ghouls attacked us. The guards were killed, and several others were also killed. Some committed suicide, others left after the ghouls entered. When all was said and done, me and Cheng were the only ones alive. It's seemed so odd though, how they would attack us. Believe me, not all ghouls are like the ones who were here."

"Alright, thanks for your time. You two can go back to your original suites if you want to, just tell the soldiers that Lieutenant Stewart gave you permission."

George then headed downstairs, and found the Captain.

"Alright, let me sit down, and i'll give you the plan."

I laughed again at Ryan.

"You are an arrogant fool, Ryan. I would rather you're sniper to have hit me. I have spared your life many times, let's not make this into a game to see who saved who more times. We have a system of trust here in the Brotherhood, I will trust you as long as all my Brothers trust you. You seem to think I can just flick a switch and everyone will trust you, hell I had to destroy the Enclave before the Brotherhood fully trusted me. I'm going to put you in a cell whether you like it or not. We need information and I need to talk to my superiors about you, then we can decide what happens. You should be hoping that I trust you enough to vouch for you."

I stood up. "Are we done here, Ryan?"

I shook my head, "No, not yet, sit back down for a second would you?", he obliged. I moved into a sitting position on the bed with a bit of difficulty, "Look, Andy, I know you don't believe but we're similar in some ways, opposite in others. We both lost our family's, we both left our homes, we both made a name for ourselves, we both did what we thought was right. We both love a woman who we see every day and at first we couldn't bare it... Sometimes, it's hard to believe, but..."

I looked down at myself, then back up at Andy, "Sometimes you never realise it, but you know that theirs someone you wish you knew much earlier, I wish I'd known you Andy, maybe you could've saved my life like you've saved so many before. Your not a bad man for doing what you've done today, any other person would've done worse, so I have to thank you for that, I just have one thing I want to ask of you... Can I at least talk to them, in private without anyone watching over us?"

I looked into his eyes, "Sometimes you need to say sorry, sometimes you need to say thank you and sometimes you just need to see people." I didn't know how he'd react to this, but I was past caring now, I knew that he would never trust me until I did something that really helped, and that day would probably not come for a while...

I sat down and listened to Ryan closely. I let out a long sigh.

"Maybe things would be different for both of us if we met early. I don't know if I can get you alone with your friends, I can how ever watch over you all myself. That is the best I can do."

I shook my head, "We met early enough, but we met on the wrong circumstances... The one where I shot the Initiate... I thought he was a Raider... Dammit..." I trailed off, then I looked at him, "Really, I don't care at the moment, I could have the whole Brotherhood watching and that'd be fine, but if you watched us... That's better than having someone else looking over us... That's it, I'm going to have to walk now, dammit." I gave a small laugh.

I moved off the bed and onto my legs, they felt terrible but they were holding my weight at least, the walking would be the hard part. I scowled as a small flurry of pain went up my through my calves to my thighs. I looked at Andy, "Oh, and so you know... Well, I guess I should tell you, my name... Isn't Ryan, there's only one other person that might know that, and that person would know if they just looked at my badge..." I looked at Andy and smiled.

"But you'll know my name soon enough, come on, I'd like it if I could talk to them."

George sat down on a nearby chair, and spoke to the Captain.

"Alright so the first time we attacked the Brotherhood, we suffered more than they did. So my plan is to strike them in three different key points."

He pulled out his map, and showed three different spots around the Capital Wasteland.

"Each one plays an important role to the Brotherhood. If we can take control off them, the Brotherhood would be crippled enough for our men to annihilate the Citadel. So this is the priority."

George pointed at one in the downtown area. It was labeled as GNR Outpost.

"This one is called Galaxy News Radio. It's an outpost under control by the Brotherhood of Steel. They broadcast a radio station across the wasteland. It's used for morale and information to spread. This one is now the least guarded area under control by them. We take it over, we take their morale down, not to mention the wastelands morale. I'd suggest we do this one first."

George then pointed at another location, this one labeled as Fort Bannister.

"Fort Bannister. It was once under control by a group of mercenaries, but then was taken over by the Brotherhood. It's used for recruitment, to get new soldiers. Due to it's use, it's fairly guarded by soldiers. We take this one down, we stop the amount of new soldiers they get, and less we have to kill. It would be best to do this second."

George rolled the map back up, and put it back in his bag.

"So, that's my plan. We take these three over, the Citadel will be a breeze. There are some other locations around that support the Brotherhood, but if we take out the Citadel anyway, they will be useless. Not to mention, we are on a timed limit. We wait to long to strike, they will eventually find us. And as good as this tower is, it won't be able to withstand the amount of troops they have now."

"I don't care too much for your true name Ryan, it couldn't make a difference. I'm going to blind fold you, for safety reasons and so the Brotherhood can feel comfortable with you walking around in the citadel."

I put the blindfold around Ryan's eyes and began to walk him towards the cell. Walking down the halls we got all sorts of looks, not that Ryan would know. We reached the cells and I signalled for the guards to let us in. I walked in dismissing the outer guards. I pushed Ryan in and told him to remove his blindfold. I stood in the corner and waited for Ryan to begin to talk.

(OOC: By the way that the others posted, I believe they were in seperate rooms? So I'm guessing either a) they just walked out of them or B) I'm going to go get them... I'll just go for b eh?)

IC:

I took off the blindfold and I noticed a couple of doors, it seemed darker in here than the surgery area. I shook my head but I walked towards the doors, I looked in one, it was empty, I moved across one and there was Nate, I opened the door and moved across to the next, there was Ash, I opened her door as well. I stepped back a bit and they both came out, slowly but wondering what was going on, I gave a small smile, "I'm alive guys, it's a miracle eh?"

I let the smile drop though, "Look, guys, I just wanted to say, well thanks for everything you both did for me, for even just staying with me means a lot more than you'd think... I'm sorry I got you stuck in this mess and I wish it hadn't happened, but this is the best I could do, but at least it's something..." I looked directly at Nate, "Thanks for sticking with me man, it must've been fun beating up Dakayev too, sorry that I never got a chance to thank you before we came here, but as you noticed, I wasn't really awake."

I turned to Ash, "And I'm sorry that what I told you, I never told you earlier, but some words you can't really figure out how to say until the end... Keep my badge, if you wouldn't mind, read what's on the back of it, and you'll see I've been lying ever since I joined the Faction that destroyed our lives..."

As we came in I noticed Andrew stand to one side, I wasn't sure why he was there but it wasn't such a big deal. I watched and listen as Ryan said his apologies. There wasn't much I could do until they addressed me.

Ashley was tired. The only sleep she got was about two minutes long when 'Ryan' took the cyanide pill. She frowned a little when he said he had been lying. She reached into her back pocket and pulled out the blood stained badge and flipped it over, looking at the back. "Andrei Ivanov," She said outloud then lowered the badge. "I never did think Ryan Harris was a Russian sounding name." She said with a small smile. She pocketed the badge again. "What's going on Captain?" She side glanced at Nate. "Uhm.. I mean that Captain." She said, gesturing at 'Ryan'.

Dakayev nodded to George

" Wonderful, the plan seems great. I think GNR is the easiest. We can have the men swarm the abandoned ruins and take down GNR easily. I can snipe away while the rest storm the building. Then we can use GNR as a staging area while we attack the different BOS outposts. I just need something with a bang. Maybe a few mini-nukes could do the job. George, give me a tactical review of the cost of taking each outpost. Like, how many men needed, weapon types needed, and casualty estimation."

Dakayev looked at the old Diner room and saw a pack of cigarettes. He opened it up and lit it, puming out smoke while looking at the table they were in.

" Well George, what do you say?"

(OOC: I will do the IC in an edit, I just want to say don't edit your post Cutie-Bi! I can work around it if I'm making sense of it. :ahhh:)

IC:

I looked at Ash, "What's going on is that the Brotherhood doesn't fully know what they're up against... And neither does anyone else, there were three people overall who knew exactly what the ultimate plan was... And I am one of them, the other two are General Treiton and the Colonel... Well, everyone just calls him the Colonel, if you want, I can tell you the plan that'll cause either our deaths or a very terrible life."

I looked at them again, then I decided I couldn't stand it, I couldn't stand this, I turned to Andy, "Please, can you tell me why you treat us like prisoners? Ashley never did anything wrong and neither did Nate, they didn't do a thing, can you at least treat them a little better? Nate hardly even looks like anyone helped him and I don't see the point in keeping us in cells if we're trying to help you."

I scowled, "Why else would we have stayed where we were? We were planning on coming here anyway, and now this is how we get treated..." I trailed off and I shook my head. I walked up to one of the walls and sat against it, I stared off into space and waited for someone to say something.

Henry had enough of the waiting and went up to Andy and asked"Sir we should move out and hit Tenpenny tower as soon as possible. Or at least we should send out recon squads so we can know were they plan on moving next. Every moment we spend sitting here gives our enemies time to strike!" He who hesitates, looses Henry looked at Ryan and said to Andy "So now we're letting our enemies join us?"

OOC: At Enclave Radio and Silly Cat, I'm sorry to say, that I can let you attack GNR and Fort Bannister, but not Project Purity, it would be much more helpful if you attacked the Capitol Building/Washington Monument, Aussie Made and I had this whole RP planned out and GNR wasn't part of it and neither was Fort Bannister according to my memory... Please, just change the Purity part, I just don't want you to re-write the whole post, just the Purity parts thankss.

"Got it Captain. Well let's see..."

George took a look at the map, and thought for a bit about the locations. He has been to all of them, as part of a scouting mission for the faction while he was still a private. He thought about them, and began to write the information down in a journal, while speaking to Dakayev.

"For the Galaxy News Outpost, I would say we could simply send in two squads of ten soldiers. One squad stays behind, giving covering fire and sniping any outdoor soldiers, while the second squad enters the building, and clears it. The second squad should probably go in with heavy weapons, and I would expect casualties would be at a small loss."

He thought for a bit, and began to think about Fort Bannister.

"For Bannister, it could be sketchy. I would say this would require more squads due to the size of the area. We could send in four squads, to allow flanking. Due to the area being mostly outdoors, we could bring in explosives, especially the fat mans. There is some indoor, which would be mopped up by the close quarter specialists. Casualties could be fairly medium."

George sat down, and sighed.

"So, that's about it. What's your take on it Captain?"

Dakayev looked at Georges map

" Scratch project purity. I say we go for GNR and Fort Bannister. Take out the GNR station and cut off the Brotherhoods communications hub. Then we go in bannister and nuke the place to hell. Maybe hang a few bodies to show who is in charge. The purifier would be too costly. I think I have an idea on how the assault on the Citadel would be easier."

Dakayev looked at the map and pointed to a marker shown as Fort Independence.

" The outcasts. Its only logical that we bring them in to our gig, then we use their fort as our H.Q. We clear out the raiders in town, and we can use Tenpenny Tower as our main H.Q, and Ft. Independence as our staging ground. We can project power from all around D.C without the constraint of major travel. I can send in a few troops to negotiate and see if their leader, Casdin, would want to join. I think they would make a good add-on. Get the Enclave soldiers ready, we are sending a group of two Enclave squads and me to GNR. Stay here with the others and make sure the Brotherhood doesn't assault us. "

"Sound good?"

OOC: Francois, I'll take out GNR and hang three dogs head on a platter for you to see. You can track our movement from their. Then when we hit Bannister, you know where we're going next. The final battle. Dun dun dun......
