George was heading to Fort Independence with his squad when the radio in his bag began to go off. He opened the bag, and activated the radio, talking through the radio.
"
This is Colonel Stewart, what is your statement?"
He kept the radio on as he and the squad approached the fort. There in the distance he could see that there were two men guarding the building, with another behind the gates surrounding the building. George went up to one the men, and spoke.
"
I am Colonel Stewart of the Invisible Faction, I am here to speak to your leader, and share some words with him."
The guard looked a George confused, having no idea who the man was, or the faction, but guessed from the high tech gear the men had, were not a force to reckon with.
"
Alright Colonel, the gate is open. The man you would want to talk to would be Protector Casdin. He is the one in charge. Try not to make any sudden moves, as we will shoot you if we catch you or your men doing anything suspicious."
George nodded at the guard the him and the squad entered through the gate, and entered the outer area of the fort. He noticed Casdin was looking at some equipment as George approached him.
"
Excuse me Protector, my name is George Stewart. I am the second in command of the Invisible Faction. We need your help in order to stop the control of the Brotherhood of Steel."
Protector Casdin looked at George, and spoke to him.
"
Excuse me George, but we are the Brotherhood of Steel. I assume you mean the ones who claim they are Steel. If that's the case, follow me."
George shrugged his shoulders towards his squad, telling them to stay put. Following Casdin, the two entered the inside of Fort Independence.
"
So George, why does your 'Faction' need our help anyways?"
George looked at Casdin while walking with him. He didn't know where Casdin was bringing him, but kept on following him, while speaking to Casdin.
"
We understand as we came here to the wasteland that the biggest threat here was the Citadel troops, under the control of Elder Lyons and the Lone Wanderer. While they claim to do good to the wasteland, we understand that they have a bigger plan. That's where you and your men come in."
George knew he was lying. The Brotherhood didn't have any evil plan, or anything of the sort. But he needed a way to persuade the Protector and his soldiers to join the Invisible Faction.
