The Island of Time

I've started a little modding project a couple of days ago. It's called 'The Island of Time'.

Like the name says; I've made an island north-west of Khuul with some buildings on it.
- A harbor with stairs to get behind the walls.
- A large stairway to enter the Fortress.
- Two towers, a mechanical tower and a water tower with hanging gardens.
- A palace.
As some of you can see, it is based on the Island of Time of the game 'Prince of Persia - Warrior Within' by Ubisoft.

My problem is, I've made the Island, set up all buildings, BUT
I'm bad at details. And there are A LOT of bugs in my current plugin..

I need someone who can work very precisely with the Construction Set and who wants to finish the Island.

When the Island is finished, I also need someone who's good at scripting and stuff.
My plan is; You have to activate both of the towers to access the palace.
Inside the palace, there must be a big treasure. But everywhere on the island, there are enemies, including several big nasty ones.

CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME

I can't fix it myself, but if you'd like I could test it and try to FIND the bugs.

Heh... these details do take a lot of time, but you get faster with experience. My advice is start small, don't worry too much about the details until you've got the basics done (although by the sounds of things, you already have).

What kind of bugs are you talking about?

And I can help with the script if you want. But what do you mean by "activating" the towers? Do you have to go inside them?

Indeed, I always wanted to start big ;D that's why the problems came fast.
I'm talking about building placement errors, like giant gaps between two wall pieces and stuff.

And activating the towers;
there are two towers, a mechanical tower and a water tower.
To gain access to the palace you have to activate both.
To activate, you need to get inside, find some kind of lever, pull it so the tower is activated.
The problem is...
Both or the towers have to be inactive before you activate them, of course.
The spinning machines and steam things of the mechanical tower mustn't work unless you pull the lever inside.
The water musn't flow out of the water tower unless you pull the lever of that tower inside.

If both of the towers are activated, the doors of the palace have to get open.
This may be a difficult mod for a beginner like me, I just want to realise it in some kind of way. I don't mind if it's finished by me or someone else. :D

I would suggest a few things:
1) Look at similar mods to see how they did things. I wouldn't necessarily copy directly, but you can figure out techniques. (and as long as they are OK with it, you can even copy directly!)
2) Take it slow. Tackle one thing at a time. Every large mod started out with a blank slate at some point. It just takes time to complete everything.
3) Have fun with it. If you are getting frustrated, switch to something else. That's one of the nice things about a large mod - there is always something else to work on.

As for your specifics, I don't know what kind of machines you are implementing, but as a general rule, you can create two versions - a static, and a dynamic, version and disable/enable them with scripts. If the mesh has a .kf, you may be able to script it with a single mesh.
