For a race native to a hot land which also has tropical areas, wouldn't they have evolved to be less...hairy?

The Khajiit look as if they would have been evolved after a thousand of years of living in a region like Skyrim to be honest.

The Khajiit were forced into Elsweyr by Elves and Humans.
