Damn guys, I'm so sorry for being AWOL for this long, I've been in the hospital for a while and had a minor surgery but I'm out now and ready to get going. But before I post, Marcus, Venix, if one of you guys could give me a quick catch-up of what all is going on, that'd be awesome. Just a short PM detailing where we are as far as progress goes (has anyone joined each other in a group? Are we going to be leaving for the docks soon etc etc).

I'm not asking for anything huge, just essential stuff so I can make a decent post that flows with everything that's happened. That being said, I'm going to go ahead and make a post just so I can make my presence known again, and get back into the swing of things. Once again, as a GM I'm deeply sorry for my absence and lack of communication, I had no access to a comp in the hospital (I tried, but they're very strict about internet use for patients for some reason).

Anyways, its good to be back and I hope we all can see this awesome thing through to go down in history, as The Warren did

As far as I can tell, some characters have crossed paths but not officially joined up. Mine has only just recently decided to leave her shelter. Others are still in various stages of emerging and exploring ruins.

I don't think it can hurt for a couple of people to meet up, it's nice to have that connection but at the same don't just jump straight in, it might only be a brief moment that you see somone, or you might decide to stay together, but you will most likley be cautious of everyone new you meet.

I think this RP will pick up "speed" once we meet each other. Right now, it feels like a serious of individual fan fic to me lol I like to interact with others in an RP, I mean that's is the purpose of a Forum RP, isn't it? =p I guess that's why my posts are laggin' right now. Sorry, but yea, I'm still in it!

The whole point of us GM's requesting you guys stay apart for a bit, is because it adds to your character's seclusion and isolation, even when out in the world because we didn't get to see that obviously in our character's life earlier. This time alone is meant to build on your character's solitary side, since it wasn't seen in the 8 months previous. It would have been boring, and frankly unrealistic for us to do or ask of you guys, if we started off the RP and waited 8 months in RP game time, to have us play out our solitariness in a fallout shelter or wherever, tossing a tennis ball against the wall. We want everyone to show off the isolation their character's have been living under, while also exploring a dead and seemingly empty world, with threats at possibly every corner, which was once alive and filled, and didn't have a possible threat around every corner. So that's why right now it's sort of individual fan fic's, it's just to build and show your character before everyone starts coming together.

But like Venix said, you can start coming together if you want, but just don't anyone jump into it like what happened before at the start. If you want to meet up with someone, then I suggest you make it more drawn out and realistic. Maybe set up a scenario with someone, where one of you is stalking the other, thinking they might be a good person to knock over for supplies or something? Maybe you're just curious about them, and are looking for something else, although you're not sure of their possible true intentions. Things like that will add depths and life to the RP, without jumping the gun on people joining up.

It seem's life's only way of having fun is [censored] with my passions and passtimes. I've been delayed.

I've been writing...but formal sounding stuff for my work and it takes what energy I have left when I would otherwise want to do something creative. Helen is going to leave the bunker at some point, I promise.

I'll be posting here sometime, I've been feeling absolutely terrible lately with my illness and just recently got out of the hospital, going to the ER later tonight.

Also, I thinks its time a few of us began to meet up and begin joining into a group. In the post I'll make (sometime today or tomorrow) I'll do something to make myself known to at least someone. Expect "fireworks"

As well the reason Im not posting much is because I don't know really what to write about. Each post seems like meaningless filler while I wait for actual incidences of the Rp to occur.

Nice, welcome to the RP, Bacon. Well, it's only been 8 months since the bombs fell. We all sheltered somewhere for those past 8 months and just now are coming out. There is some destruction in the city, but the main issue here was fallout. There were no direct hits. This RP is mainly about ordinary people, trying to survive and wondering how you would react after spending 8 months in a shelter, below ground, in isolation (for some).

We will slowly come together and establish a new colony.

So, no Ghouls, no real mutated animals (we had some over-sized flies so far LOL)
