The Lone Ranger, brought up a good example, I think should be pointed out. If you see someone/others not posting, take the initiative and post something like dialogue or something, that will get others involved. It's important that this RP has character development, so post something like dialogue that will get others involved. The downfall of most RP's is that people don't see others posting, and instead of taking the problem on themselves with a simple post, they pass the buck, and think someone else (who's also thinking to pass the buck), will take the responsibility. And from there it just goes over and over again. We don't want that, especially with how early on we are, so take the initiative and if people aren't posting, then do so yourself, even if you think hogging or you're posting too much.

In my RP's there is no such thing as posting too much, because character development between characters is important here.

I managed to get my phone charged at work (go figure that my least favorite place would have power), so I thought I'd let you folks know that the estimate to get power back at my house is around Friday. Of course it could come on sooner or later than that (considering 800,000 people lost power in CT I'd say if anything it will probably be later), but hopefully I'll be able to come back and post this weekend.

I understand some of you might not be able to post as frequently as is needed, and I understand that it's not necessarily for reasons you can control, so it's no fault of your own (damn real life!) so I think I might have to put this RP on hold, and move onto other projects for the FO Fan Fiction?

Maybe, we'll see. It doesn't seem like any of you are taking to building character in this little time, which I was hoping would happen more. But we're missing Caesar and The Lone Ranger at the moment, and I haven't gotten a PM or notification at all, from either of them. Rainbow Samurai's out for a bit, while he waits for power, so it's either put this on hold for a bit or hope those slacking pick up and start to join in the RP so we can get things on the move.

I'm here Doc, like I said I've been watching for newer posts so I don't clutter it up with my own posts. But since Reggie has started up something with Cal I'll get a post written soon. Don't count me out too soon now. :thumbsup:

Remember Lone Ranger, there is no too much posting in my RPs. (Well there is, but you definitely haven't reach that point, no one has. ) Starting up a conversation isn't "posting too much", it's good to do so, or posting about your character in some way isn't bad either, it's good to adding and growing your character.

Also, from now on I'll be posting with TWO times on them. It should be pretty easy to determine why when you see it, and I'm also going to help make it easier for people to start posting with some dialogue and get some character development going.

Ok Doc I'll keep that in mind. In the CS Cal's a little more withdrawn, I'll try to make him more social though.

It's cool to keep your character as you want him/her, but I just don't want loners or whatever in an RP that is supposed to be more than just going from Point A to Point B, shooting stuff, and then calling it a wrap with the players hardly making much effort to make their characters cohesively work with the others.

Trust me, Cal wont be that guy. I like to be social and friendly and talkative. I'll make the effort once we get into a combat situation to have each other's back.

Oh crap I just relized how long i've been gone sorry Doc school svcks, i've got scholarship tests, and i've been getting svcked into Minecraft recently. You do know what that is right?

Yes, yes it is, and also the fact that it is the easiest game on the planet to mod so it can become anything really. Right now im playing on a server called Lord of the Craft, a huge Role-Playing multiplayer server. It's super cheap and really addictive to play, i'd suggest it to anyone.

Ok so after finishing work an hour late last night I was too tired to make a post but I am making one now

I got power back last night, but I had work today, so I just got a post up. I had no power from last Saturday night at 8PM until this Saturday morning at 4AM, it was a horrible ridiculous week, but I could expect no less in the aftermath of what is being titled as one of the worst snowstorms in CT history.

Good to be back, and good to have power. I had to sleep in front of my fireplace for the whole week, both because the rest of my house went to around thirty at night, and because the cold air compressed my Sleep Number mattress. Anyhow, as you can see I'm still in on this so hopefully we can really get this RP going. It doesn't seem like a lot occurred while I was away though, huh?

It certainly showed me my real priorities. I couldn't care less about my lack of computer, video games or TV, I just wanted heat and a proper shower. You really appreciate that stuff when you have to split firewood with a hatchet in order to not freeze to death. Well, maybe not death, but you get my point.

Man, I couldn't live without internet (well I could, but still), but yeah nothing has been going on for a while, but hopfully things will get moving now that people are getting back on here. My post just went up to BTW.
