Fifteen years after the events of the Oblivion Crisis...

The Empire is doing well for itself, with the Ocato as its Emperor. The economy is blooming, the guards have little to worry about, and Moon-and-Star has returned from Akavir.

"I could feel the scars left here in Ald'Ruhn thanks to the daedra, I walk here in the disguise of a young, temple, priestess, little do they know that I am the High Priestess of the Daedra, planning our crusade against these scum, the high cleric, Kalarn shall lead our forces to victory, and we shall rule Tamriel with an iron fist, allowing daedra to run free. Soon it shall happen, oh so soon...
~Daedric High Priestess, Nekomi Starwatcher

"The blood of my fellow daedric companions lies here in Cyrodiil, those cursed imperials, and that Champion of Cyrodiil fought my brethern. I shall lead the daedra to victory. I plan to change that with Nekomi at my side, we shall conquer Tamriel using the worshippers of the daedra, and then we shall reopen the gates! Tamriel shall be a place for the daedra to rule, once and for all..." ~Daedric High Cleric, Kalarn Broodikus

"Adventurers, hear my call, I am the Champion of Cyrodiil, along with Chancellor Ocato, Arch Mage Raminus Polus, Master Oreyn Bearclaw, and the great hero of Vvardenfell, Lord Indoril Nerevar. We of Tamriel need your assistance, those of you who are brave enough to fight the armies of the daedra worshippers. I once did, many years ago, but now I no longer fight wars... If you hear my call, come to the White-Gold Tower to join a group of adventurers to fight against these Daedric Knights!" ~Champion of Cyrodiil's Notice

Only when he saw the aftermath of the carnage were his eyes opened.
During the Crisis his village was raided several times resulting in many of his friends dying. In typical Hero fashion he vowed vengeance and sanity upon the creations of chaos.
At the age of 7 He began training to become a true hero. He spent every waking minute training and helping the local villagers. Only when he turned 14 did the villagers of Bleakers Way truely understand that it was what he wanted. He was not clouded by redemption. He was a holy man and saught only truth and goodness for the sake of those around him.
When he turned 16 he packed up his belongings and headed out on a pilgrimage to fulfill his quest as a holy knight, Ever inspired by the Great Crusader of the Knights Of The Nine, and willing to do anything to reap his vengeance.
He soon encountered a man who offered him the chance to go into the planes of oblivion and seek vengeance there. But Tylon sensed the darkness in the mans heart and declined. He was then attacked by the man, and after a desperate struggle, struck him down with his blade.
Tylons heart was washed free of everything and he felt like a new man. He did not know who the man was, except that he must have been connected with the daedra somehow. Confused by his new sense of purpose, he went back to Bleakers Way and stayed around untill the age of 18. He left soon after to become a Holy mercenary willing to fight for all that is good and rightous.
