Mhm, not so many. But there were no bombs that struck Vegas directly. Mostly around in the outskirts. But as you say it the only one I can think of is Raul <_<

I think he meant in the entire NV gameworld, not just in the town of New Vegas itself. There are some wandering clumps of them southwest of Primm, west of the freeway... and more over far on the northeast corner of the map, east of Bitter Springs. And a number of them in the sewers under Vegas itself... but yeah, you gotta look around to find them, they're not jumpin' all over ya at every turn like they were in FO3.

New Vegas wasn't hit that hard so naturally ghouls would be rarer but there are still plenty of sane ghouls around.

Raul
Beatrix Russell
Pvt. Kyle Edwards
The Gomorrah not only has ghouls who tend bars but ghoul dancers as well.
Jason Bright and all his followers which you dismiss but he and his followers are a signficant number of ghouls.

Additronally one of the ranger stations has pockets of radiation around it, so naturally its staffed almost entirely by ghouls who'd not only be immune but healed by it.

I don't think that it should be a necessity to have a ghoul community in every game.
The way it was handled in Vegas was fine.
Not too many and not too few.
Would've liked some more civilized super mutants living amongst humans like meansonofa[censored].

He was just giving examples of ghoul settlements in other fallout games he wasn't necessarily asking for one maybe just some more friendly ghoul npc's which i'm all for.

I thought there were plenty. And they didn't all have the same voice. That drove me crazy in Fallout 3. The only ghoul in the base game that had a noticeably different voice was Azrhukal. I do agree with Gabe that there should have been more friendly muties in the game. There seemed to be a cut SM NCR Ranger named Chauncey that you can see from the GECK, and that would have been cool to have. Also, Jacobstown needed to have more intelligent and articulate mutants like Marcus and Niel, it just seems appropriate.

My thoughts`?

He thinks that New Vegas lacked ghouls as they are more interesting.
I think that New Vegas had the right amount of ghouls and that each Fallout games does not need to have a ghoul community.

Kay? ;)

I think the main reason for that is that Ghouls are ugly, that's about it. Super Mutants and NCR citizens (Which according to dialogue, New Vegas has a massive influx of them) have a LONG and bloody history. Almost 160+ years of sporadic violence. Some folks have an enlightened mind and are capable of tolerance of anything so long as it is willing to be civilized. Others, well, old bigotries die hard.

To be fair Tabitha's policy of attacking humans who come near black moutain is probably a major contributior to the present hostilities.

Well, ghouls is a good addition to any fallout game. Most ghouls have stayed around for a long time so they have alot more intresting stories and dialogues than others.

Just FYI House is not a ghoul. He is a 264 year old man who has been in a cryo chamber for about 210 of those years.

I m with Gabe on this one. You have Raul, Dean Domino, the NCR soilder who is not feral in Searchlight, the scientists assistant in Jacobstown, one in vault 22, an entire ranger station, and a standup you can recruit for the tops, a hoker you can recruit flr the atomic wrangler. Plus at least 2 dlcs to go. Also as you mentioned the Brite Brotherhood.

Ghoul towns are probably not needed in every fo game. In fo nv ghouls are meshed in with regular society.

There are plenty of ferals on almost all sides of the map. The nuclear test site has the strongest and largest number for those looking for ferals.

What are you on about??
Camp Searchlight was the most well designed location for a "zombie" encounter yet, although it would have been better if there were twice as many ghouls especially after you enabled all the turrets.
Ghoul encounters are always the most fun because they are like zombies..

- i didn't request information

and ghoulification is the process wich happens if u live a few hundred years , and be it a cryo chamber that keeps u alive or intense radiation it''s goulification that makes a ghoul

girls are de-virginized when they have normal six , but they are also de-virginized when they do oral/anol without normal , this discussion will run in circles so please don't reply to it

I like the ghoul communities, so I did miss it. But I see where Gabriel's coming from - having one just because you've had one in all the past games and not because it really fits wouldn't be the best idea I suppose. I do like hearing about pre war society, and how they survived though. But you still get a little bit of that in NV so I can't complain. :)

No Ghoulification is the end result of someone who is exposed to amd ungodly amount of radiation and didn't have the good fortune to die. House is not a ghoul he was kept alive by a highly advanced life support system. He wasn't irradiated into a rotting flesh pile. Before stating things like "it''s goulification that makes a ghoul" you might actually want to learn what a ghoul actually is.
