I was sittin' on my haunches today browsing through my subscriptions on youtube when https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKCGkmhBOqY. Let me just say at the beginning, I was willing to accept the fact that J.J. had his own vision of what would happen after Return of The Jedi (or Revenge of The Jedi if you use the original title) but some of these details really bothered me. If you enjoyed the EU a lot and have some knowledge of what happens in the galaxy thrity years after the first death of the Emperor, I think you might be a bit bothered by what I saw too.
Regardless of my opinion though if you don't agree, do you guys think this could be a winner? Comic Con starts soon so maybe some of these details might be elaborated on. For me though, it'll take a lot to explain why the Empire is apparently still a major power in the galaxy that is able to actively recruit instead of being reduced to nothing but scattered pockets of resistance in the face of the new Galactic Republic.
