I found the ancient blade "Dragonsbane" or 'Dovafeyn' in its Dragon name, whilst walking through the old halls of Sky Haven Temple... this weapon was placed safetly in my inventory and was not take out ever again, untill that day... the day i finnaly came face to face with Alduin himself, i was battling with him thusly with 2 orchish swords, and i realised no mortal weapon could bring the beast down.. and so i pulled out the only other weapon i had at that moment.. Dragonbane... i pulled it back and struck the monster god. In one hit, the abomniation swung back and burned into a shadow of his former self, before totally become ripped from existence itself.. now the legendary Dragonbane sits in its weapon-case, never to be wielded again.. as it is now known as the blade that defeated the dragon Alduin in one and its only ever shot.

So.. basically the gist of that story was i found Dragonbane, hit Alduin with it when he was miniscule health and placed it in my weaponcase never to be used again, but i found the whole concept of "Only been swung once, and in that one swing destroyed Alduin" concept, so i dramatized the story to be a genuine legend my character will pass on to his children ^_^

Do you any of you guys have interesting stories behind your weapons? Or is it just me?

I had this sword too, and it's kinda funny to me, but I held on to it. For that day... I knew a day would come that I would use it.

But then I completed the whole main quest, totally forgetting this thing. Heheh, whatever. It just sat in a box in Breezehome while I blasted Alduin with Dragonrend and fire.
