The Legend of the Krately House

The game says the author of "The Legend of the Krately House" is Baloth Kul. It seems more like a Dark Brotherhood scheme to keep people out of The Abandoned House. If people saw the play, or read the book, they most likely wouldn't want to go into any abandoned houses in Cheydinhal. Am I right in my assumption? Or is there something i'm missing? (I checked both UESP wiki and OblivionWiki and found nothing.)

Serjo Baloth-Kul seems to take his literary work seriously; he wrote the Horror of Castle Xyr, after all. I suppose it's possible that he wrote it on commission for the Brotherhood, but I personally don't think it would fit his style too well... But he is indisputably the legitimate author.
