Use the Gibdo Mask to talk to the Gibdos and give them what they want.
Alright, I got the Captain's Mask, and the song of storms.,(and I figured out how to start up the dried up river) and I'm gonna get the Gibdo mask later today.

well that really aint much, you should try to get the bunny hood real early on, the additional speed it provides really helps for jumping. should i tell you where it is or do you want to find it on your own?the blast mask is also a great alternative to bombs, always is. if you need to know where any masks are in this game, you can PM me, or i can just tell anyone here who needs help right away. i will say that you'll need to circus leader's mask to keep the bunny hood.

I think I know how to get the bunny hood. I have a guide for masks anyway on gamefaqs.

Yeah, I'll try and get the Bremen mask then the bunny hood. So are there any other must-have masks besides the bunny hood and blast mask?

EDIT: Oh, I forgot one mask: Mask of Scents.

well there are a few that give off some pieces of heart, but the one that has the most reward in terms of pieces of heart would be the all nighter mask, for 500 ruppees from the curiosity shop on i believe the 3rd night, you use it to stay awake during two stories, then you get quizzed and get a piece of heart, the one story that lasts longer has a trick question though. lemme just find the answer for ya early on. oh and you need the giants wallet for that mask.

for the first story, the first answer is right, for the second one it is "i dunno". you get a heart piece for each.

other than that, if you want the fierce deity mask, you should try to get all 20 masks.

You can find mushrooms in the mysterious woods and Stock Pot Inn. They just look like puffs of purple smoke but if you take them to the potion maker in the swamp you can buy blue potions, which it seems I need to do so I can talk to the gibdo's in the well.

you dont get a heartpiece out of it, that i can confirm, what it does is track scents, you can use it in the lost woods level behind the magic potion shop in the swamp. and i can assume the potion might be worth something at the curiosity shop. also if you redo the goron race and get an extra thing of gold dust, you can sell that to the curiosity shop, i think its worth something like 500 or 200, worth it if you want to fight goht again, plus you got a bottle out of it the first time anyway.

you can also sell bottled poes which sell for 500 to him as well and can get supposedly an infinite amount of them at stone tower. excellent way to get money.

It's useful for getting the Mirror Shield at the bottom of the Well in Ikana Canyon. I'll have to check the price of the potion at the Curiosity shop.

Also, selling Poes for 500 is going to be my new source of income instead of just killing the Takkuri Bird. Stupid bird stole my bottle and made me pay to get it back. <_<

I agree. The Mirror shield in OoT was awesome. It had a cool design. The one in MM just scares me. It's always staring at you when your sword is sheathed.

Uggh, Iron Knuckle is a pain. Even when I take only half damage from enemies, he causes problems for me.

Pfft, blowing into your cartridges. I always slammed mine with more and more force into the system until they worked. After the 3rd slam they got the message.

a lot of guides have said that bombs are the best way to bring them down, but i disagree, its just too risky after he loses much of his armor, its best to mimic how a stlfos attacks:

Keep that shield up when you fight him, always keep locked onto him, and move constantly. when he attacks, jump back and then you may be able to do a Z+A jump attack for massive damage to him, if he doesnt block it, you may want to try bombchus, but accuracy is a question while on the move.

Move around him, depending how he attacks, whether its a down chop, or the 3 side chops, you can jump to the side of him and do the Z+A for massiv damage, or just friggin stab him, but dont get greedy, a few attacks then pull back to wait for your next chance.

dont think for a single godforsaken second that you can stun him with the hookshot, never think that, you grapple onto him, get collision damage, and then he swipes at you with the axe, not fun.

Keep a fairy with too, you never know.

keep jumping attack quickly and accurately, but be patient, an iron knuckle had a ton of health, and they aint gonna die to quick, even if you have the gilded sword.

take the advice and they should die easy.

That's what I was thinking, but I'm not sure if you can even bottle a bug.

Oh and how do I get the giant wallet?

you can bottle them, find em, and swipe the bottle by them, try in the kitchen at the stockpot inn.

the giants wallet is rather simple, just put money in the bank, cant remember the exact amount, but it aint hard to reach really, the bird outside the milk road can help.
