The Little Things You Love

I like how you can put weapons on a weapon rack, and armor/clothes on a manikin. Now I can actually put trophy's n my house without painstakingly placing stuff on a table or a shelf for 20 hours.

I also like the abundance of different foods. Although I wish there was more then just massive amounts of Mead, Ale, and wine to drink. But I guess it is Nord lands.

I love the ambient sounds. Hearing bunnies and fox scurry through the brush and totally scare the crap out of me because I have DSS on my Turtle Beaches.

I love the Aurora Borealis.

I love the finishers. After a particularly brutal or tough fight, it's so satisfying to drive my blade into someone's sternum. Planting my foot on a Sabre Cat's head to pull my blade out of it's neck never gets old.

I love when enemies taunt me. "You're going to make a nice rug, cat!"

Ambient effects from fire are so much prettier than Oblivion. Torches, candles, cooking pits, all look fantastic.

I love that I can arrange my books on bookshelves.

I love the visible effects of enchantments on weapons and armor.

Dungeons are excellent and varied so far.

I never feel safe when traveling, especially at night. I love how wild, dangerous, and alive the wilderness feels.

I love how my character looks in 3rd person view when I'm sneaking up to the entrance to a dungeon.

I love the detail and variety of the armor and weapons.

And how could I forget to list my favorite part of the game so far...the music. It draws me in like no other game soundtrack I have heard.

I could go on and on.

Damsel: Help! Save mee!

My char: *Runs into the assasin, then stabs and lifts him with his two swords before throwing him down to the ground, lifeless*

Damsel: ...ignores me, but nevertheless, I feel great inside ^^

I love how Mudcrabs are actually threatening.

I saw a handful of them hanging out by some mudpool and thought to myself, "Heh, Mudcrabs." I walked up to them and as they were scuttling toward to me, my eyes opened up and gleamed with joy. "Sooo cuteeee. Scuttle-scuttle, my little muddy friends!" We danced and ran in circles. We talked about the meaning of life and of the dragons return. But then, I got too close. BAM BAM. Dead. With two swipes of their claws, I was mud-juice. Powerful little buggers, they are.

You can find ants crawling on some tree stumps. Also, those hawks that you see flying through the air will eventually go back to a nearby nest to protect their eggs. I enjoy all the stuff that makes this game seem like a living, breathing world.

If you're a good enough shot you can also snipe those same hawks for their feathers and target practice. It's fun.

I love the Dwarven ruins.

I love the bookshelves, weapon racks, and weapon plaques (when they work).

I love how finishing quests for a city or town increases the merchant's gold.

I love how some NPCs make random comments when you complete certain quests or join factions. I wish there was more of this, especially with the really important quests and when you become leader of a faction.

I love how the water flows in parts and the rapids.

I love the dragons. They look awesome and I love it when they talk to you.
