ooc: having odd problem with front sizing :(

Ambassador Lobotomite - Black Mountain

*Addresses both Captain Wilson and Ambassador Draiman*
We need the quarry to build walls surrounding the summit of Black Mountain to keep my unstable kin from wandering too far. Surely this is something the NCR can support and it is actually something the NCR has no decision over.

I apologize Ambassador Ryan, but we won't be able to help you at this time. All of the Nightkin stable enough to help you are indisposed with the unstable ones.

Ambassador/captain Robert Wilson - NCR

we do infact have other qaurrys but Quarry junction is run by NCR citizens, not the Army or government. If the cizitens are happy to remain their it is their bussines although If you wish to purchase the quarry, give me an offer and I’ll ask the owner.

As for building walls however we would happy give you materials to build them. You could also scavenge some of concrete left within border city and some unused NCR bunkers. Although didn’t some doctor in Jacobs towns came up with cure for the schizophrenia?

Ambassador Draiman-Mr. House

When less people go to Vegas? What. Are you going to ban the NCR citizens from coming here? *Chuckles*
Legally? Freeside is anarchy. Freeside is practically run by the kings, who are the very people who have a conflict with your citizens.
As House is fair to his citizens, and respects Freeside's wish to be left alone, he is not sending in any securitrons and is leaving it to the Kings' discretion.
I think it would be the best for your citizens if they left freeside, as they are certainly not getting along with the kings.
Ooc: I assume the monorail was shut down once NCR left

Ambassador/captain Robert Wilson - NCR

Nope but with freeside being the only way to get to the strip, do you think NCR citizens will want to go through place that open hates and attacks them?

Although I honestly don’t see the kings’ problem with the remaining squatter, in fact wasn’t it one of them who installed that water pump? Which the kings now charge people to use?

But I don’t wish to argue this anymore, I will speak to squatters and ask them to move… perhaps to Nipton, I’d heard several NCR prospectors planned to repopulate the town… although i cannot promise they will go, freeside is their home.

OOC: I am returning to my old character Marcus Draco, they're both pretty similar but I when I play Draco I plan more.

And I do not think that the Bright Brotherhood should be its own faction, they're just a part of Novac.

Ambassador Lobotomite - Black Mountain

*Lobo walks along the Strip towards the Lucky 38 casino with his two guards following him, one a Centaur, the other another Nightkin. He motions for them to wait outside as he walks through the giant doors of the Lucky 38 relieved that he doesn't have to crouch for once. He looks around at the tables and the slot machines and experiences a brief moment of rare nostalgia, but the feeling passes. He sees the large table and finds a couch with the words "Black Mountain" on it.*

*He motions to a large single wheeled robot that had the word 'server' displayed on the large screen in the middle of its "head"*
"Take some meat to the Centaur outside, the journey was uneventful and he hasn't been fed for a while."

*He gives a nod to the Representative of the House*
Ambassador Miles Presley - The Kings

* After receiving a letter from Mr. House regarding a convention, the King sent three of his men down to the Strip, giving the Ambassador Miles Presley a passport for his guards and himself. They entered the lucky 38 casino, each being checked for weapons. The two guards were asked to wait at the door, as they each held a 10mm SMG with them, though Miles managed to slip a .357 revolver through the security check. He sat himself at the table across from the NCR representative, flashing him a mean look, before unzipping his leather jacket and taking a seat, stroking a greased comb through his hair.

"Evenin' boys, hope I didn't miss anything important. I'd like to start by thanking Mr. House for not sending in his robots to Freeside to shake things up. In wake of the war over at the Dam, we've had enough problems sortin' out the NCR trash without having to deal with those steel bastards. Speakin' of which, the Kings need something done about those NCR boys in Freeside, pronto."

* Miles leans back in his seat, scanning the room for a Securitron.

"I also need a drink pronto, if that's alright."

Marcus Draco Representative and Mayor of Novac

*Marcus walks throught he door in his wrinkled, well worn suit with its red tie. It was his father's suit passed down through his family since Pre-War times.*

Good evening Lobotomite and Presely. Novac has been going through a rough patch lately, the raider gangs are getting strong now that the NCR and the Legion are both gone... for now at least.

I would like to have an agreement with both of you so we can either slaughter them or push them out of the region. They're hurting all of the Mojave by trying to interrupt trade.

Dr. Nick Sanders, Followers Ambassador/Doctor with time off

Nick walked through the doors that would lead to New Vegas. Since he had a break from his job, being a doctor, he was chosen to go to the meeting. "[censored] Julia. Making me come here on my week off." Nick muttered to himself. He walked towards the table that was labeled FoTA and sat down. He motioned for the robot to come over. "I'll need two bottles of Nuka-Cola, Rad-Away, and a brahimin steak. Thanks." Nick said while looking over towards the King Ambassador. He knew him from the times he had treated him or his boys. "So, I see the NCR is here. I have a feeling this is going to be very heated. All we want is some peace and stability returned to Freeside. Which means either the NCR leaves Freeside or The Kings and NCR get along. We don't have the manpower or the meds to stop you from killing everyone." Nick picks up a Nuka-Cola and opens it. Taking a big swig along with it. "So, what's all of your opinions on that situation?" Nick said before going to eat his steak. "[censored] Julia."

Hello Doctor.
Would the Followers be so generous as to send somebody to train one of my people as a doctor? With the raiders attacking caravans a lot of wounded have not been able to be helped by us due to the lack of a doctor at all.

Ambassador Presley - The Kings

"I have no problem with squatters, what I do have a problem with is NCR. I'll gladly accept any squatter as long as they don't walk under the NCR's flag. On a side note, Bill Ronte installed the water pump, not NCR, and we regulate water usage to prevent conflicts from arising between thirsty Freesiders."

* Presley turns to the Novac ambassador.

"Sorry friend, but we're a bit shortstaffed right now in terms of Kings. The King would like to ask Mr. House's blessing in annexing North Vegas Square, however. It seems a small expansion, and we hope to have all of the area surrounding the Strip unified in due time. After that comes to fruition, we can talk about sending Kings elsewhere."

We thank the Followers very much.

You know, I've heard that when the Great Khans left Red Rock Canyon they left behind a ton of their drug ingredients. Scavengers have aparently been taking them by the bucket full. Maybe the Followers should set up shop there, its tactical and isolated.

Just a suggestion though.

Understandable, these are tough times.

And Novac would like House's blessing in taking over Cottonwood Cove and Nipton under our control. If you agree then we would need some securitrons guarding us for a time, until we could establish our own army. An army of men for House to use for tasks that robots can't complete.

Ambassador Draiman-Mr. House

Perhaps House could use an army of men. But regardless, you can take Cottonwood and Nipton. House is quite generous, even if you do not offer him anything in return for this. We will speak of an army diplomacy later. He will dispatch a few securitrons to both areas to ensure you don't encounter any raiders or Caesar's stragglers.

Of course. House will send a few securitrons to North Vegas for a start.

I have a proposition to make. Perhaps we can use the cement from quarry junction to make a wall around the entire Vegas area. That includes Westside, Freeside, and North Vegas.

That would keep the remainder of fiends and raider gangs outside, and keep the people safe from the outside.

House will gladly pay for any human labor that is available for this. And he's quite wealthy, so he will make it worth anyone's while.

Ambassador Draiman-Mr. House

If this is true, about the Great Khans, then illegal chems are being thrown into the trading mix and chem addicts aren't good for business.

I request that the followers occupy their old drug lab, as I believe they started a setup for helpful medicine as well. That means that illegal drugs would be kept under control, and the useful meds would go to the followers.

?Although we are unable to spare any men at this point we do have some weaponry left over from the powder gangers we could give you, its not high end stuff, varmint rifles, cowboy repeaters, service rifles, 9mm pistols and sub-machine guns and also explosives; lots of spare dynamite and some frag mines which could be useful, if you need any of these just say and we'll send 'em over

don't you have a securitron army now? why don't you have them kill them all off, although if you want a wall I guess a deal could be made for the cement but for that high amount, what does Mr house have to offer?

I though i should point out again that several NCR prospectors set out to resettle Niption, Novac can still own it but those people arrived first, I don't want another freeside incident were NCR cizitens are kicked out by haters....

well the NCR could send troopers but ofcourse we can't enter the Mojave

perhaps the treaty could be altered to allowed NCR troopers into southen Mojave (ooc: everything below Novac) that way we could defend the soutern settlements along with sending some ranger scouts into legion territory to see what they have been up too

ooc: those scout can come back next convention and inform us how the legion is doing (up to gingy ofcourse)

Marcus Draco Representative and Mayor of Novac

We could offer much in return in the form of labor from our armies and perhaps a tax on all profit we make from caravans.

We thank-you for this, Cottonwood Cove has a lot of left over Caesar's Legion uniforms that we could sew and smelt into more protective armor. They also have left a lot of weapons, although most are only melee, this could serve as basic weaponry for now until we can get together enough money to buy a massive amount of weapons and armor.

We plan to turn Cottonwood Cove into a military base with farms surrounding it to the north, east, and south with a little Pre-War trick called plateua farming. It was used in some mysterious place called Japa (the text he read it in had the 'N' at the end too faded to see). The trick us to dig into the side of a mountain or hill and make a farm there.

We plan to make Nipton into a mini New Vegas, similar to Primm. We do not wish to compete with Primm though, I would feel bad trying to muscle in on their business. Would whoever owns their casino like to open one up in Nipton? I believe there are enough buildings for us to open three casinos, two motels, one military base for our militia once its formed, and a town hall.

Actually, from what I hear, all of the drugs were either sold before the left or brought with them. There are only chemicals and unused syringes left. I thought the Followers would like to know that considering they can't get enough supplies in their trade.

Ambassador Draiman- Mr. House.

If either of you can give us the coordinates of the gangs, Mr. House can dispatch securitrons to wipe them out.

I can, there are the Jackals west of Nipton and the Vipers south of Novac. They're pretty poorly armed compared to securitrons though so you won't need to send many.

Ambassador Ryan - Primm

We would be grateful of getting any weapons you do not need, thank-you.

In return we will send you food from the farms we plan to establish at Cottonwood Cove for free, we can probably send enough to feed your entire town for a day.

*Marcus walks into the Lucky 38's elevator, looking around anxiously. He never likes being late, especially not to important events like the convention. The elevator door opens and Marcus hurriedly walks into the VIP suite containing the large table. He moves over to a seat that says "Jacobstown" on it and sits down*

Sorry I'm late everyone, I had a little trouble with cazadores on my way over here.

*Marcus clears his throat*

Now then, Jacobstown's population has boomed in recent months ever since Dr. Henry discovered the cure for schizophrenia in Nightkin, and it would be very beneficial to us if Jacobstown was allowed to set up a small community in Red Rock Canyon. There is a path leading through the mountains that leads directly from Jacobstown to Red Rock, so it would an ideal location for us to set up another community-

*Marcus pauses*

Ah, yes that would be excellent; Jacobstown can send you a decent number of armed mutant guards if we are allowed to set up a small community in Red Rock. I assure you that the mutants and humans of Jacobstown are completely peaceful and would be honored to live and work along side the Followers. In fact, our scientist, Dr. Henry, has been wanting to engage in further experiments to create new medical drugs, but he hasn't been able to acquire enough existing medical drugs to perform his experiments. So if you wouldn't mind, I'm sure Dr. Henry would be willing to trade some of his extensive medical and biological knowledge with the Followers in exchange for a supply of stimpaks, med-x, and radaway.

We could offer some people in a few weeks, if things don't go as planned a month.

Ambassador/captain Robert Wilson - NCR

"Again NCR would be happy to help but can't.... "

I do not like the idea of the NCR having any military personnel in NV besides an embassy.

Speaking of which, since Nipton is so close to the NCR and is one of the first major caravan stops perhaps an embassy there is in order, if House allows it.

Maybe you can establish a base just south of Cottonwood Cove, that would help to make sure that the Legion doesn't come back over the Colorado and it could serve to protect Cottonwood Cove in the event that such a thing does happen. Again only with House's approval.

That actually sounds like a very good set up.

It would also help open people up to supermutants more. I once met a supermutant, he was very old and very wise. Nothing like how some people here in Novac see them, they see them as beings just like the Legion but tall, strong, and green.

I could also help influence a caravan route opening up to Red Rock which would also benefit Jacobstown.

Marcus Draco Representative and Mayor of Novac

We plan to make Nipton into a mini New Vegas, similar to Primm. We do not wish to compete with Primm though, I would feel bad trying to muscle in on their business. Would whoever owns their casino like to open one up in Nipton? I believe there are enough buildings for us to open three casinos, two motels, one military base for our militia once its formed, and a town hall.

(OOC - sorry about that)

Ambassador Ryan - Primm

Although I can't be certain I'm sure they would be very interested in expanding, their business has been doing well recently

Alright, make sure to tell him.

Ambassador Lobotomite - Black Mountain

This Doctor Henry does claim to have a cure, but I have not yet seen any proof of its validity. Until that time when there is a cure we need to keep the unstable Nightkin under control and contained. I thank you for allowing us to make use of property which was forfeited as soon as the Two Headed Bear left the Mojave. We have actually just finished scouting out a safehouse we found to the north of Black Mountain and we will be using it to hold some of my unstable kin so the stable are free to do other things.

As for buying the Quarry from your citizens, as ambassador of the Two Headed Bear, what do you feel would be sufficient?

Good evening Lobotomite and Presely. Novac has been going through a rough patch lately, the raider gangs are getting strong now that the NCR and the Legion are both gone... for now at least.

I would like to have an agreement with both of you so we can either slaughter them or push them out of the region. They're hurting all of the Mojave by trying to interrupt trade.
My kin will protect the I-15 from Sloan to the Junction 15 Railway Station. We could protect more if we had enough material to build the wall, thus less of the stable Nightkin would be required to mind the unstable.

From what I have heard this cure is very effective.

There are some couriers and caravaners who brave the trip to Jacobstown and they pass through Novac one time or another.

Thank-you. I will make sure you are compensated for this.

We cannot offer much food, farms can only make so much and we have already made to many deals involving them, we can however send caravans to Black Mountain and pay for 40% of the supplies.

If you have no form of money than, if you get Quarry Junction, we would like to buy materials from it to build a strong wall east of Novac, along with supplies to make more buildings for Novac, Nipton, and Cottonwood Cove.

That actually sounds like a very good set up.

well just you renmeber who kept the legion at Bay, admittedly Kimball did screw up... [censored] [censored] Kimball...... But he did the get job done. Mr house's Robots might have finished them off in the end but without us, most of people in this room would either be dead or legion slaves....

Although that does sound like a good idea, As i mentioned several NCR cizitens and prospectors have moved to Niption and I reckon more will soon, porbably setting up shops and maybe one of those casino you mentions so i reckon an embassy would be useful..

as for army camp, how about the Blue Paradise Vacation Rentals? it's an old vaction park that could be made into a small camp. from there we could make trips across the river and Into Legion lands along with protection the nearby Area.No offense but Novac Miltlia might be-able to stop raiders and citters, they won't stand long if legion or something else comes over that river...

We could also clear out searchlight and use the airport but that place is still radioactive from the legion attack.... Hmm that gives me an idea before i suggest it to you Mr Lobo. Mr house would you allow NCR to repouplate searchlight and the airport?

you can still buy materials from us you know. oh and NCR folks who went to niption order some meterials to build a wall, since most of towns bulidings were intact.

Ambassador Draiman- Mr. House

House is willing to pay lots of caps for labor and cement for this wall. NCR is not going to receive a military base inside the Mojave outside of the troops you have at Sloan. Civilians and the soldiers you have at Sloan are authorized to help Nipton. So an embassy composed of civilians and the rangers that I hesitantly allowed in the mojave will suffice, if that's what Novac wants.

House is also willing to send a donation to begin Novac's farms at Cottonwood, as it is a good strategy for stability.

The Legion is disorganized and currently not a threat.

I do not need those materials, I am just trying to help their business.

If they cannot provide and I need something then I will ask you.

OOC: And the first post says Nipton is abandon, NCR citizens could not be living there.

I was offering them a base south of Cottonwood Cove, to help reinforce the Colorado. It is just outside the Mojave so I thought House would be alright with it.

We thank-you for your donation, we did not expect it. This farm will be easier to make with it.
