It's a marshmellowy type spread which I've always wanted to try.

Damn, now I want some of that. Why don't we have it in Britain?

Yesterday I wet to see The Irresponsibles live. I met the lead singer in the entrance said hello and got autographs from the band. Saw them setting up and tuning. Then they took a break until people arrived and had some drinks themselves. I pvssyd to the lead guitarist tash. They started playing and were amazing. I mean there aren't many local bands that aren't even signed to a record label and are that good. Before they played Break me they said

singer:"this song is dedicated to a fan"
Kash " yep Mark, and you might have seen this on the spoony experiment which as funny as [censored]"

I was so so so so happy. They played Break me which was really good and a couple more amazing songs and finished. They packed up for the next band (the colourphonics) the lead singer came and pvssyd to me. They went to the bar to do shots. I stayed a while longer I said goodbye to the band, shook their hands and left, an awesome experience indeed.

What the heck is Marshmallow fluff? A jar of marshmallow? O_o I can't even think of how that works... And you're eating it with a spoon too? o_O

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marshmallow_creme

Have you ever gone to an ice cream store and gotten that liquid marshmallow on your ice cream? It's a bit like that, except it's more like a spongy solid. Or, think about what the inside of a marshmallow looks like when you bite it in half, and that's what it's like. It's really good, and a great solution to a sugar craving you might be having. One spoonful and it'll be gone, replaced with a craving for more fluff. Of course, it's essentially just a jar of empty calories, so you really don't want to eat more than a few spoonfuls at a time.

I suggest importing it one day. :P

Oh wow; time for me to get deported, then.

To not have this be spam: My voice has left the building. I had to call in sick for such a stupid reason (that being the reason) because I'm a salesman and if I can't talk, I am useless.

How did you call in sick if you don't have a voice? :P

I'm happily awaiting tomorrow. I'm going to Devils Lake which is pure awesomeness.

Haha, I had to ask my mom to do it. Luckily, we work in the same place, so it wasn't as pathetic as it sounds. I work a full shift tomorrow, so I'm hoping it's gonna be back.

So update on my whole family hating me situation.
I was able to talk to my aunt who, thankfully, calmed down and explained why my family is pissed. Apparently, they feel that it's an american tradition for those who turn 21 to get as drunk as possible and breaking this tradition makes me seem un-american. At the same time they view being straightedge being more of a gang culture instead of a life style decision.

It makes slightly more sense that they're pissed off but it doesn't justify it.

*looks up what straightedge means* Oh, hey, that's what I do! :o

You could always warn them of the dangers of binge drinking - getting fatty liver and keeling over all of a sudden, depressing your nervous system so much that you lapse into a coma, etc. [censored] "tradition" if you ask me. Not the kind of culture I grew up in, I'm glad to say.

-----------
Wisdom tooth pain is all gone, though I'm still avoiding crunchy foods for a while yet until the hole heals up some more. Beautiful weather lately, it's been great to get outside. B) We've been taking care of my sister's cat for the past two weeks... kind of an intelligence-challenged creature, not as smart as our dogs. Pretty to look at, and can be very cute - but also very moody.

@IHaveAFatDog: I hope you feel better soon! I heard about that earthquake that struck NZ - is g-ranger okay?

Figures we don't have it, all English food is bad for you, brown and covered in gravy to hide the taste. Nothing like your deceptively colourful atrociously unhealthy American food. :P

Also, good news! My first day back at school was meh, I'm a year 11 now but I still get no respect from those lower years. >:( Turns out the school administration mucked up my maths grade so instead of getting an E like they told me I actually got a C which is a pass at least. :P My parents are not happy at the school but I'm just happy I won't have that E haunting me forever now. ^_^

I've never gotten anything lower than an F. :hehe:

And I thought a straightedge was: A bar with one accurately straight edge, used for testing whether something else is straight?

Bought a new shirt today, it's already become my favourite shirt. I feel like a lumberjack while wearing it, now to just grow a full beard. . .

One of these days I'm going to post a picture of myself in the picture thread, as soon as I become lumberjacky enough.

My family is accusing me of looking up pormography on my sisters computer. But whoever did (which was not me) did not delete their browsing history. And I delete my browsing history after listening to music on YouTube.

Why would you do it on your sister's computer? Nobody is allowed on my ps3 or laptop so it's A ok for me. ( I am not stating I look at porm :P )

Thanks, that helped a lot :)

I'm glad to have made a difference :).

Having trouble finding a pretty enough dress, eh? :P

Have I told the Lair that I've got my (motor)bike back? It was dropped off four days ago (Friday for me, prob'ly Thursday in the USA), but I haven't done much riding at all. It was definitely wet for a day or two, and the tread on my rear tyre is a getting a bit low (not a slick yet, but I'm not 100% comfortable with it), so -given that I hadn't really ridden in three months- I really did not want to be heading out with reduced traction. I'm also a bit nervous about riding, since getting rear-ended then finding a dodgy patch of road* immediately after the bike was repaired does have an effect on confidence :P. Getting the tyre replaced today, so that should make me feel a bit safer (and yes, I will ride carefully and wear it in with a long, upright ride).

As soon as I had it back, without even riding it, I felt a lot better than I had been ^_^. Like flipping a switch. From which one could read a whole lot of things about my life (mostly less-than-great aspects of it :()...

*A more experienced rider might have been able to save 'imself, but I'm not, it was wet, and the spot I went down has been known to cause a bit of slip even when dry (and I hadn't ridden in a month or so). Not happy about it, but not kicking myself too much.

I hate the wind in this city so [censored] much. It never stops! I think the longest I've ever been outside without a powerful gust of wind hitting my face was maybe 20 seconds. You'd think that being surrounded by tall buildings would slow down the wind even a little bit, but nope, it's windy everywhere. No matter what direction you walk down a street, there will be wind coming at you. Even if you turn around, there will be another gust of wind ready to hit you. And if you think going down a side street would help, nope, the wind is just as powerful there too. It's [censored] everywhere, and there's always wind blowing opposite whatever direction you're going. If I had short hair, I wouldn't mind, but because I have slightly long hair, it's constantly being blown around in my face and in whatever direction the wind sees fit. I don't even care about it messing up the way my hair looks, no, it's just really, really, really annoying. It's probably the thing I hate the most about this city, and I don't hate a lot of things about it.

After an hour and twenty-five minutes I found what I was looking for on the internet. I opted to not pay so it took me a while to find the right site to use.

Broke up with my GF, we've been together for about 5 months. Just couldn't take the stress anymore. Kinda trying to be happy alone.
We've spent about 4 hours together yesterday, playing, talking, lying in the grass. On the surface everything was perfect. But after 5 months I had to realize we're too, too different.
She said we could find a compromise, but I said I needed time to sort out my feelings. I feel better right now, but still [censored]. Miss her a little.

I'm going to ditto what Suffca said. Tall buildings actually make areas even windier, I know this from being a lifelong NYC native.

I hate how I look with short hair. Cutting my hair isn't going to happen. Besides, that would be acknowledging defeat, and I'm not about to be defeated by this incredibly windy city. :meh:
