Voted for Hope So simply because it was a book with a very deep plot and very rich believable characters :spotted owl:

The author may be gone, but we could find the next page of the book somewhere. I'm sure they'll throw something of the sort at us.

The best book in the game besides ABC's for Barbarians! Even if the author is dead someone could...no...HAS to continue the series!!! :ahhh:

It's a very emotional plot! I was crying the whole way through.

Crassius Curio, yeah? I think he was possibly dead for Oblivion as well. That doesn't mean we can't get a new act/scene in Skyrim though. That book is obviously just for fun anyways. I think if they can justify only including one seemingly random scene in Oblivion, there's no reason that they can't include a different seemingly random scene in Skyrim.

Isn't the book in Oblivion (at least) just a small part of the play? Maybe the lost chapters are hidden somewhere.

And relating to that google thing, a ..."unabridged" version is around too ;)

Gives me an idea for a quest in Skyrim.
You have to gather up all the pages, there could be something like over 100, sort of like the nirnroots. If you give them to one person, he will rebuild the book, pay you a huge amount of golf, give you the spear that was featured in the book (Assuming it was just a spear, and not... the other thing) and then start reading the book. If you return 24 hours later, it turns out the book was so horrific that he killed himself, so you can take the book then if you want. Attempting to read past the "cleaning of the spear" scene results in a non-standard game over.

For the love of all that's holy, DON'T bring that book up  . One more word in it and Skyrim's rating would escalate from 16 to 18  .

Yes. And in the centuries since, it'll have gone from being considered tawdry entertainment for the masses to one of the classics of late 3rd-era literary canon.
