Cool thanks for the heads up. I was wondering when Beth might release the making of F4, there's been no mention of it. However I won't watch it until I've hammered the game.

I'm willing to bet this will be a written article basically summarizing everything thus far released on Bethesda.net and NOT the making of documentary video Bethesda releases AFTER each title.

Up until now, every Making Of has been included in collector's edition as DVD/Blu-ray, which beats the pants off online streaming quality. I'm disappointed that's not the case this time.

I know Oblivion and Skyrim had it. Did Fallout 3 follow suit? If so, that's really too bad they did not include this in Fallout 4. :(

Yes, both Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, although the New Vegas one was kind of crap in terms of the content.

Before I read... anything remotely spoilerish within?

I just finished reading it. There is nothing spoilerish about it and it's a great read.

I think that's the last bit of media I check out. Media blackout time!

"When Fallout 4 was officially revealed to the world at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, it was in an alpha state – playable from start to finish and on the home stretch of hitting its November 10 release date."

Really? In alpha state? After what, 7 years in the making and several months away from launch?

Neat story. I liked the bit about the "Wasteland Task Force" they used to balance the map density and make the world feel realistic.

Alpha, beta are just almost arbitrary production categories. They really don't have anything to say about content or technical progress.

Good read. Glad to see they brought in a developer of Destiny to help with the gunplay. The only thing Destiny got right is its gunplay.

Very good read and a very good look at the amount of effort and attention to detail that went into the game. Thanks for that peak peek (EDIT: a pox upon homophones) behind the curtain.
